Lovely People and Excellent Value for Money
Kuta Lodge Homestay is a great place to stay on a low budget. The garden is very big and nice and the rooms were also spacious. The location was great for getting to restaurants and around Kuta. The staff were wonderful, helping us out with well priced laundry, scooters, information, transport, the list goes on. Free water refills and pretty decent breakfast were also appreciated. The breakfast is flexible and good, depending on what you tell them. We would definitely recommend it and the next time we will stay here again!

Super friendly and helpful staff, pretty basic room”
The staff at this stay were wonderful, helping us out with well priced laundry, scooters, information, transport, the list goes on. Free water refills (always appreciated) and pretty decent breakfast. Excellent value for money and the location was great for getting to restaurants and around Kuta. We stayed in a non AC room which was rather basic and a bit damp (leaky roof in the bathroom) but the fan kept it cool and we had plenty of space.

The place is near the tourist area but far enough (you need a motorbike) so you are not in the middle of the hassle. The garden is very big and nice and the rooms were also spacious. They offer motorbikes for rent and taxi service, everything for a good price (we checked other places). The breakfast is flexible and good, depending on what you tell them (pancakes/fruits/eggs/toast). Good place to stay.

We really liked this accomodation especially because of the lovely people! They arranged renting a motorbike with us, they provide to refill our plastic bottles, they even cooked for all of their guests for dinner, which was btw delicious. They arranged transportation to the airport, etc. There is a big, beautiful garden! The room was big with your own terace. Breakfast was quite good. I can recommend the banana pancake :) unfortunately they didn’t change the bed sheets.. there was a plaster on the pillow. Anyway, we would definitely recommend it and the next time we will stay here again!

Simple but perfect”
We went for 3 nights and ended up staying for a week. Simple bungalows but very clean and very good value for money. They rent bikes at the same compound and the banana pacakes for breakfast are very nice.

I booked a room with twin beds and suddenly it wasnt available no more, so one of us had to stay elsewhere. I came in for breakfast and was served none despite that service/room was meant for 2.

Really nice homestay with friendly staff”
The location is just 5 minutes on a scooter from the center (which you can hire for cheap from them). They have hot water for coffee and tea out all day and a very nice breakfast cooked for you every morning. Comfortable room would definitely recommend :)

Hospedaje simple pero lindo y cómodo con wifi, A/C y desayuno. La habitación es espaciosa, al igual que el baño. Ubicado a 2min del centro en moto pero ideal porque es un lugar muy tranquilo. Lo único malo que no tiene agua caliente.

Ich habe in dieser Unterkunft leider eine sehr schlechte Erfahrung erlebt. Mir wurde die Unterkunft von einer lieben Familie empfohlen, da Sie den Kochkurs und das Schnorcheln super fanden. Ich habe den Besitzer ganz höflich gefragt wann ich beide Termine buchen könnte. Es gab null Augenkontakt und ich wurde unverschämt behandelt, man hat gemerkt dass er lieber Pärchen bedient. Der Besitzer dieser Unterkunft wurde mir gegenüber respektlos und betitelt sich selbst als Moody Person. Er ist einfach mitten in der Konversation nach meiner Frage wann ich jetzt beides machen könnte aufgestanden. Selbst seine Mitarbeiter behandelt er in meinen Augen nicht richtig. Am besten spricht man ihn morgens nicht an. Durch seine Respektlose Haltung sind mir die Tränen hochgekommen, da ich überhaupt nicht verstehen konnte wieso er so gehandelt hat. Es lag offensichtlich eine Miskommunikation vor dennoch sollte der Besitzer seine Gäste mit Geduld behandeln. Statt geplante 5 Nächte bin ich nur die eine Nacht geblieben und habe meinen Aufenthalt abgebrochen. Als Alleinreisende kann ich diese Unterkunft überhaupt nicht empfehlen. Desweiteren musste ich das Zimmer wechseln, da das Zimmer so heiss war und die Klimaanlage nicht funktionierte. Beide Zimmer waren nicht wirklich sauber. Im Badezimmer hab ich jeweils Zahnpasta Reste am Spiegel entdeckt und auch die Einrichtung ist in die Jahre gekommen. Für den Preis finden man wirklich was besseres. Ich bin sehr enttäuscht.
