The hotel has a relaxing vibe. Its perfect for a typical family holiday. Breakfast is good and had enough variety. It has no direct access to the beach because the front property is a temple. But the location is perfect, its very near to the beach (around 50 meters), restaurants, bars, spas, convenient stores and malls. They also provide activities for their guests.
Very spacious room”
I booked a super deluxe room & it was spacious. The TV selections were plentiful & TV is a 40” LG. They replenish the toiletries everyday. Nice size balcony to sit out & watch the sun rises each day. Our room was just above the breakfast restaurant in the 2nd floor. Would’ve better if on higher floor. Overall very happy with the hotel.
Nice and clean ”
First time staying here - pool was nice, rooms were clean had a view looking into the pool area. Hotel staff were great and enjoyed the bingo in the afternoon. Didn't make breakfast but heard it is wonderful
Good family hotel in central location”
We stayed here due to its proximity to a private hospital in Kuta that I was receiving treatment at for a wrist fracture operation - the hotel were very kind and sent some complementary fruit to my room. We hadn’t intended to visit Kuta and we did explore the local area given the hotel is on a main drag of shops and restaurants but it is too touristy/commercial for my taste so I can’t say I’d be tempted to return. The facilities of this large hotel were good and the buffet breakfast was very good. Looking around at the guests, I’d say this hotel would appeal more to families with children
Return to Paradiso ”
Last year we stayed at the Paradiso and we booked to stay there a this year. Because last year we liked it the staff were excellent ,breakfast great the room was clean had comfortable bed. The pool area is looking very tied and needs a revamp and still does. We were happy with the decision to go again and were not disappointed it’s pretty good value.
Recommended to stay here!!!”
This place was so good to stay... The room was so good... got upgraded from deluxe to super deluxe for free *due to bed i requested wasnt available.. The staff was very nice... Overall.. one of best hotel in here...
Beautiful on the outside but inside needs since work”
Good location close ro surf both beach break and ti take the boats out. Close to the craziness. Really nice pool area, breakfast and gym. The rooms however really need a makeover.... third trip ti this hotel and a little sad they are not keeping yo the rooms. If you pay full price probably not worth it, if you get a sale place...ok wifi also needs works very slow.
Getting a bit tired ”
Good points: staff are friendly, pool area is nice, breakfast is very good, comfortable beds. Not so good points: hotel is getting tired and worn, WiFi is poor, bathroom could be smelly at times Neutral point: depending on your interests, the location will be great or terrible. Kuta is not for everyone. I only stay here because friends do, but I am not a Kuta fan.
I had my son and his family, had 2 rooms, and was given pool view, after I had a Garden View that I did not like. So Ruth understood my situation of me being there for 14 nights and gave us Pool view. Excellent Hotel great location etc. Will visit again and Ruth the manager was great as was the whole staff
Like many hotels in Bali the Kuta paradiso could do with an upgrade but our stay was great would definitely recommend it
Cost effective but outdated”
We stayed at the hotel in 2018, and decided to return in 2019 Checkin was easy, crib offered for baby Hotel is a bit outdated, very old looking inside. But still very clean. Can access beach from hotel. Breakfast buffet was delicious, but was more options in 2018. Location is in walking distance to mall for baby essentials and markets for shopping.
Late check out”
Great location, if getting return transfers make sure they have your flight info. They only go to airport every 2 hours, we ended up catching our own taxi from the street. If you have an afternoon or night flight book the premier lounge (free) for a shower and get changed ready to fly out.
Great hotel, large room, extra large bed, fabulous breakfast,Western + Asian choices. This hotel although not on the beach is a five min walk on to Kuta beach,is centrally situated to the city life, shopping centers and all the happenings for a good price.
The hotel is situated in a prime location. No beach access direct from the hotel but a short 5 minute walk (literally) and you are there. The family room was a good spot but if you want time to yourself i would recommend an interconnecting room. Laguna pool was great and the services around the pool great. Staff very helpfull and willing to help in any situation. The included breakfast was fantastic everything from cereal, pastries to eggs any style, bacon (ask for crispy if thats what you like) traditional Balinese rice noodles etc to coffee, tea, juice etc. I think the room i stayed in could do with a little tlc but neither the less it was comfortable.
Great location and food”
We stayed 9 nights at the paradiso hotel. The staff were very friendly, even walking past any staff member they would make sure to say hi with a smile. The hotel looks amazing and the location is perfect. This place backs on to the beach and is only a 5min walk to the beach. Even though there is a gate at the back, which takes you to the beach it is always shut instead you have to walk to the side of the hotel and then down a street to get to the beach. No biggie but would of been much better to open the back gates making it a 1-2 min walk to the beach instead of 5. The only negative I found with the hotel is the rooms need to be upgraded compared to the rest of the hotel. The rooms look a little dull and looks like 2-3 star hotel compared to outside which looks like 5 star. Buffet breakfast is really good and recommend. Overall we were pleased with the hotel.
We had arrived late , and I accidently booked the room wrongly as I thought it was with breakfast. Pls see clearly and book. When I wanted to arrange breakfast at the counter they wanted to charge me 120 sgd for 4 pax on 2 nights additional which I did not agree to. I had to call agoda and agoda contacted the hotel they could not give me the discounted price waited at lobby alomost 35 mins to sort this out with elderly. The duty manager Ms Ayu was so rude and rejected all our requests. I had to call agoda and made her to talk to them. Finally she agreed for us to cancel booking and rebook. So booking was done twice. Breakfast was average. 1 counter of fruits no oat 2nd day went to their restaurant. Cocktails was served with a dead bee on it. When informed the manager said their bar have bees flying so no choice and will change. No choice and can do replacement??I said cancelled..no service recovery was done and I had to ask to waive service charge be waived??? Overall unpleasant stay.
We stopped at the Paradiso before with our family. We were so happy we decided to stay again. We're not disappoint we did staff fantastic. The Best breakfast in Bali We are going stay again next year great its alsovalue for money .
Great hotel. Plagued by a few issues”
We stayed at the Paradiso and for the most part our stay was a pleasant one. We had one issue that they were doing works on some rooms very close to ours. The works weren't the issue it was the solvents coming though our air-conditioning. I informed the staff that this was an issue and first they sent someone up with air freshener then they did nothing about it for an hour when I went back down to reception to inform them that it was still coming through our air-conditioning. They did offer us another room with a pool view. It was at the very least on paper an upgrade, but we had a sea view, I didn't really care for watching Australians swim around a pool over a beautiful sea view. Suffice to say the works stopped after some time and we just sat it out on our balcony.
Not too expensive but get what you pay for ”
We had a family room.Weren’t able to check in at the states check in time 2pm. Our room only had one power point which makes things very difficult. The sheets had stains on them, they smelt clean but didn’t look it. The towels were very old and weren’t white at all. Twice house keeping walked into our room without knocking first. It’s a bit dated so could do with a refresh but overall the location is good
Don't Get Fooled by the 5-Star”
Kuta Paradiso Hotel Bali used to be very good, but that era is long over now and instead of dropped the rank position to one or two level down, it dropped way down there. Before going further to the CONS, let's take a look at the PROS. PROS. Location, room size, check-in process (slightly on the slower side but still acceptable), breakfast selection, staff (during check-in and at breakfast area). CONS. Room condition (dated), in-room slippers, semi-broken water boiler (for coffee/tea), rusty hangers, semi-broken "Do Not Disturb" sign. That's for the things we could see. Furthermore, there's inconsistencies in service - one day we had no small towels, another day we had no bath mat, another day we only have been provided with one small towel, etc. Another inconsistency was laundry service, being asked to pay service instead of just signed since we have already deposited some money, make up room after lunch, long check-out process (they need to check the room first, etc).
