Where to stay in Kuta
Kuta hotels & accommodations

Novotel Lombok Kuta Hotel is a beautiful resort. Check in process was fast and effective. All staff were so nice. One of the staff from souvenir shop gave my daughter a small bag with a little tiger head on it, for nothing, when we passed his shop. It was a nice surprise for her. The private beach is beautiful in any time. It was not a holiday season so there were n...

+ 4KM from Kuta Town and 4KM from Tanjung Aan. + Hotel offers Moto Rental at fair price (5.- USD a day) and a Shuttle service to the beach. + Hotel offers massages, dinner, bar and billard, once a week "movie night" in the open bar. + one can book tours at the partner company "bamboo tours" + breakfast + upgraded: booked a garden view room, received a family villa ...

The hotel is perfectly located in the centre of Kuta next to the beach. Restaurants, supermarket, bars etc next door. Room was clean and breakfast buffet rich and delicious (compared to other accommodation where you get a pancake and a coffee only). The hotel provides scooters for their guests (you have to negotiate the price!), however, their helmets are not the bes...

Thank you for Kuta Baru staff friendly hospitality and kind assistance throughout our vacation at kuta lombok, definitely is your best option for chilling. The facilities such as swimming pool, restaurant all well-equipped. Hotel also provided yoga activities at poolside. Although we faced some problem at our trip since we dont know the rules at kuta lombok, but the st...

We absolutely loved our stay at Kies Villas, the perfect end to our Lombok/Gili vacation. The grounds, pool and rooms are gorgeous, staff are super friendly/helpful and the food and drinks are great. Good value mini-bar too. Take the staff's recommendations of which beaches to visit and where to eat, we did and were never disappointed. Seriously couldn't fault the plac...

Well since my previous review seems to have ended in limbos, I guess I'll repeat myself... This was a 1 night extension to a previously booked 2 nights stay. I chose a standard room because on the photos I could see, I preferred the decoration for that room. It was exactly as on the photos, decorated with taste and spacious enough. We liked the relaxed atmosphere of t...

We got upgraded to a deluxe room which was a great room. Don’t book the superior room as the standard of the room was not good at all. Pool was great and the room was good size. Rent a scooter to visit the beaches around as Kuta Beach is not the best. Go to Mawun or Tanjung. Beautiful.

This is a lovely little garden escape if you want to enjoy rustic luxury in Kuta. Just off the main street with a very relaxing Cafe/Restaurant. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and they provide drinking water refills which is really awesome. Only two downsides that are not anything to do with the accommodation but more the area - Kuta Beach is not the best I've s...

The Kuta Cabana hotel is exactly the kind of place that makes you think once there: Wow, we were so lucky to get here! The hotel is simply awesome. We're on a round the world trip and we know what value for money is. This is it. The hotel is on a small hill which gives you an incredible view on Kuta Lombok and the sea. You'll have a nice chilling area just in front of ...

We stayed at Yuli,s for the second time this year. It is remarkable value for money. The homestay has three sections each with its own pool. If you want to laze around there is never a problem finding a deck chair to kick back in. The grounds are grassy and spotlessly maintained. We stayed in different rooms and each of them were very clean and comfortable. The s...

The interior design of this private villa is super cosy and spacious. Had some hiccups when i first arrived at the villa but it was all sorted out efficiently and professionally by Eti and her management crew. Had 3 wonderful nights in the villa (with private swimming pool) and the staff were very friendly and accomodating with our requests. However, breakfast is qu...

Aldi's Bungalow is a small cozy place. I like the quiet atmosphere and the swimming pool right infront of my room. Just to point out, there are 2 steps staircase going up the bungalow as well as 2 steps staircase going into the bathroom from the bedroom. Satisfied with the room and pool cleanliness. The breakfast is ala carte of eggs, toast and a drink. It is walking...

Our stay at Rawa was fantastic. After staying at 3 different places in Kuta, Rawa by far had the most muted early morning mosque prayers. Although on Saturday night we were kept up by all night music and partying which was pretty loud - we're not sure if this had to do with the Eid festival or if this is a Saturday night occurence. The rooms were very zen and spacious,...

Mana Retreat is the perfect getaway for groups, solo travellers or couples, especially if you love yoga. The staff and yoga teachers are fantastic. They take the time to get to know your names & even your favourite orders. You can easily spend all day doing yoga classes or hanging by the pool. There is an excellent selection of eateries and bars just a short walk or sc...

We really enjoyed our staying at this hotel. First the hotel and his accommodations are really nice. the swimming pool is beautiful and surround by nice garden with hamacs, long chairs, sofa ect.. really quiet. The rooms are beautiful, clean and quiet with view in the garden. The restaurant is just in front of the beach and the food is tasty. it s possible also to rent...

Marta the owner gives such tremendous service. She’d make sure everything is in order and she is very accomodating to all your requests. Me and my girlfriend goes out early everyday for morning surf, by 7am the staff already takes order for our breakfast and prepares it in time before we go out for surfing. Breakfast is delicious, homemade bread and banana pancake is...

Mila, the girl at the reception coordinated with me for the airport pickup well before our arrival. The driver,Harris was there when we arrived. The hotel is very close to Kuta beach. They arranged for a scooter for rent. Gave us 2 extra hours for checkout without additional cost. They also gave us an Indonesian adaptar on request. The room was extremely clean, very spa...

Hotel is up at the hill. We arrived late when it was dark, so it kind of alert us because there is no pavement and cars kind of struggle if they don't know the path. But the next day... awesome. We got up with a superb view, you could see the entire ocean! We rented a motorbike at the hotel at a very good price and it was the best choice ever, as we took all the trail...

We travelled as a family with our 3 and 1 year old kids. We stayed in one of the pool view rooms. They provided a baby cot with a mosquito net, which is great! Even the baby cot is clean and ready when we arrived. EVERYTHING about this resort is SUPERB! From the time you enter the grounds, it felt like going in an oasis with all the koi ponds and trees around! The room ...

I enjoyed a lot my stay at the Family House which is be the best address in Kuta Lombok. the hotel is brand new and very clean, rooms and bathrooms are very spacious, with terrasse or balcony. I have been upgraded to a suite upon my arrival and although i did not stay too much at the hotel, it was very appreciated to have additionnal comfort for the end of my trip in ...

Room smelled a little dusty, patio wasn't 100% clean. Breakfast just ok. But boy is this a great budget buy! And the staff was EXCEPTIONALLY helpful. Of all the places I stayed over three weeks in Indonesia, this was the best value for the money.

We really liked this accomodation especially because of the lovely people! They arranged renting a motorbike with us, they provide to refill our plastic bottles, they even cooked for all of their guests for dinner, which was btw delicious. They arranged transportation to the airport, etc. There is a big, beautiful garden! The room was big with your own terace. Breakfas...

The hotel seems to be under renovation, so there's basically just an entrance and then a row of rooms. No reception or anything, but the staff were always at the front by the entrance, so it wasn't a problem for me. I just wanted a clean, comfortable room, and so it was fine for my needs. The actual room is big, with a big, clean bathroom. Good water pressure in th...

The location is very near with Selong Belanak Beach, and not far away from other beach on the south part of Lombok. Not so many restaurant nearby. We wen't to airport by booking a transport from the property. Can book a grab from airport to this place, the driver knows about the place. 1 minute walk (dirt road) from the main road. The breakfast is nice and taste good. ...

We had an amazing time here! In fact, it was the best part of our trip. Julia and staff was extremely helpful and provided us with useful sightseeing information - the area is lovely and it's a walking distance to Selong Belanak beach and you're able to visit the fields below and the people are so friendly as well. Everything on the menu was delicious and we highly re...

We stayed for 3 nights over NYE in one of the larger, more expensive rooms. The first night the air con didn't stay on properly, but it seemed to fix itself by the morning. There was a NYE party with a band at the hotel, but most people were on the beach, and it had quieted down by the time we returned. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk to the beach, but being locate...

Please excuse my long review but I want to share my experience after staying 2 weeks in Lombok: - Lara's is a homestay, not a hotel. So if you wanna experience local life, this is the place for you. - Lara and her staff are amazingly helpful, they would help you out with all your questions and concerns - Airco is strong, international TV channels, hot water (though st...
Cheap places to stay in Kuta

I arrived for one day and I stayed a week! Definitely it's not the best hostel in "proper" terms, but Dika and his amazing family makes the difference and beats all the rest. Friendly, always smiling and willing to help. Also, in all those days, everybody that came were extremely respectful, and never made a noise etc. If you're looking for party, don't come he...

As backpackers this was the perfect place for us to stay in Lombok. We opted for a aircon room at a little extra cost but it was so worth it. The rooms are newly built, very spacious, clean and have a nice seating area outside. The family were extremely welcoming and friendly. Breakfast in the mornings is a lovely touch, they served us pancakes with fruit with tea or ...

Diyah homestay is owned by the kindest family! They want to make your stay as comfortable as possible and are always available to help you. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom is a standard Asian bathroom with the shower and toilet all in one room but everything works. Each room has a lovely little patio with Lombok bamboo furniture and it’s such a treat to wake up in...

-Nice View , specially the homestay on top where Ive been stayin -fair price for what u get (120 Rupiah) -breakfast was included, but Pancake has always been half liquid. I felt really uncomfi for the women makin them for me I felt like I am forcing her to do it which wasnt the nicest feeling -bikes not insured overall: nice stay to explore beaches around Kuta!...

Nice place and frendly oner. I Will Stay there Again. If you must buy a ticket for the ferry from lombok to bali. so be prepared to a bad trip. poor transfer bus on bali. total crowded 2 person no Seat. And time to kuta Bali normal 1 hour. But the transfer Ware hole Bali so 4 hours to kuta.

we booked accidentally the new room, which was build a few days bevor our arrival. so, everything was nearly finish and it felt very new and clean. the mirror came at the next day. but in my opinion it was too expensive. there a lot more rooms directly in kuta for lower prices and better environment. you need a scooter for sure. it is too far to kuta. the good: the...

We stayed there two nights and Mohammed and his family were super nice with us. The place is simple but surrounded by a wonderfull quiet mountain landscape, away from town, you can reach the city in 10minutes by a scooter you can rent at this place. He is a really helpful and sweet guy.

I never experienced anything similar in more than one year of travel through whole Asia. The people that run Sahabat homestay seem to be really nice, but if they can scam you, they will. My girlfriend and I were travelling through Lombok and recognized their "AC Standard Room" online and decided to book via Agoda. The payment was accepted and the booking confirmed. Onc...

Pros: Nice staff, very spacious room. 10 minute walk to Kuta beach and there are a few restaurants and bars around. The owner also helped us arrange transport very last minute which was good. Cons: water from shower took ages to drain and you were given a thick blanket to sleep in even though it was very hot. Overall would recommend.

Pipes is the best hostels in Lombok! It's beautiful and they thought of everything in tge design. There are so many places to relax and chill. The staff is cool and really helpful with planning, etc. I stayed in Dorm 1 which has an ensuite bathroom. I wouldn't want to stay in a shared bathroom dorm, as the toilet/shower combo is public and gets somewhat rancid.

We really liked this accomodation especially because of the lovely people! (+) Positives - Good location, close to a places to eat and the beach. - Good size room - Free breakfast was okay nothing special - They have tables and chairs in front on room - WiFi was okay, it comes and goes (-) Negatives - No hot water in the bathroom and it was not that clean - Did not have a guesthouse feel as we never even knew who worked there or who owned ...

Honestely this is the best homestay we have been. Great value for money! Rooms are spacious, very clean with western bathroom. You can enjoy free tea of coffee during the day. Hosts are just amazing. We intended to stay just 2 night but we extended our stay for 5 nights. Thank you so much for your hospitality! We would recommended Rasti Homestay to anyone who is planni...

Your Own Selong Belanak Adventure is yours to create as it is at your doorstep once you explore the world infront of you. Sometimes having the basic essentials is all you need to get you by with no stress...take your time, enjoy the beautiful experience there...you will not regret it.

I really wish every homestay had the magic, care, customer service, smiles and food that Talim offers each client. He makes everyone feel so special. I am a well versed traveler and Talim and his family stand out as one of the greatest family businesses I've ever experienced. He rented me cars, helped book my Rinjani trip at a wonderful price just to name a few of th...

I have stayed here 4 times now, always stay here when I go to Kuta Lombok. It's not flash, quite basic, but is excellent value, clean, friendly and helpful owner and staff. I appreciate the location, away from the "bustle" of central Kuta, but still an easy walk from the esplanade area. Most people hire motor scooters these days, which makes it even easier to get to. T...

The two young men who run the place are darling. So honest and helpful. There are only a couple cottages so it's peacefully far enough from the motor scooters while being only a short walk to the main part of town with restaurants, stores, ATMs, etc. They can get you a scooter to rent if you ask. Free filtered water, nice simple breakfast, a nice bathroom and cold sho...

The staff was warm and extremely accommodating! The rooms were clean and tidy, comfortable beds and decent linens. Breakfast was very simple, but adequate. The A/C worked great, and the en suite bathroom was decent, with plenty of hot water. The only complaint, is really not with the hotel, but the area of Kuta Lumbok in general. Lots of trash, garbage in heaps around ...

We arrived quite late at midnight and Chico got up and offered us tea or coffee and sat with us and answered all the Qs we had. We had booked two nights but extended to three. The room was so comfortable king size bed and perfect air con. The food was great you can chose from eggs or pancakes (delicious) with full plate of fruit. You are set up for the day! We ate ...

I can’t say enough good things about this place. Breakfast was so much better than any included breakfasts I’ve had staying anywhere in Indonesia. Motorbikes available for rent at competitive pric...

Super hosts Serah, Steve and Ben. We enjoyed it here. Our room had kitchen which was handy for tea making. Room lovely and goof bathroom. They give not one but two pancakes. Also have Flores coffee. ...

We had a great time staying at Relaxing homestay! Few things to know: The matress is on de floor (Great matress) and the water to shower is cold, or at least, not warm. Yamar is about 20 minutes from the Lombok airport and 500 meters from Kuta beach, which is very convenient. The locals are extremely nice and helpful. Big and beautiful areal and pool for a hotel with only 12 rooms. Excellent service and super friendly staff, yummie breakfast and stylish rooms with a georgious bathroom.
