"최고" means "the best" and "리얼" means "real" in Korean. So, the translated text is "The best..real."”
A couple stayed at a ryokan for a price in the mid-200,000 won range. I researched and compared thoroughly, so if you read until the end, it might help with your concerns. We stayed in the second week of July, and the price was reasonable considering we could use a private bath. I was worried about cleanliness and amenities, but there were five empty private baths during two different time slots when we visited, so we could use them comfortably without any time restrictions. The soba noodles we had for a late-night snack at 10:30 pm were delicious, and we could eat them in the outdoor terrace of the restaurant, which was convenient and had a great view. The smoking area was also nicely located outside, and we could enjoy the scenery while using it. If you want to wear a yukata, choose one before the check-out time. We didn't have dinner at the ryokan because there were too many negative reviews about the kaiseki cuisine, but we had a healthy breakfast that made us shed a tear. The size of the room, bed, and cleanliness were excellent. We had enough space to open two large suitcases, and there was a full-length mirror in front of the entrance. I care about water pressure, but I didn't have to use the shower in the room. We went to the large public bath in the evening, ate ice cream for free, and enjoyed the private bath afterward. The public bath was available until 11 am, so diligent people could use it in the morning too. You can wear a yukata or a charcoal-colored outfit to the public bath. There is a train station (Iiyama Station) in front of the ryokan, and you can rent a bicycle and explore the area. There is also a Lawson convenience store nearby. You can take a picture with a basket and straw sandals at the entrance of the ryokan and post it on Instagram. For the price in the mid-200,000 won range, we could rent a yukata, use the large public bath and private bath unlimitedly, have a free mini ice cream, and store our luggage after check-out. The location, cleanliness, and space were all satisfying, and it was the best ryokan we've ever stayed in. Highly recommended.
I'm sorry, but "คาเดนโชะ" is not a word in English or any other language that I am aware of. Can you please provide more context or information about the word?”
This is a Japanese-style accommodation that is top-notch. All the staff are very friendly and provide Yukata sets (but if you are overweight, they may not have your size). The private onsen is excellent. If you want a peaceful and quiet place to relax, I recommend this place. However, the food options are not very diverse and focus too much on Japanese cuisine, so if you are not used to it, you may not be able to eat much.
Best stay in japan”
This was our best hotel in our 10 day trip to japan. We only stayed one night since its nit a budget hotel but the price is well worth it! You get to experience a traditional japanese ryokan with an onsen. They have welcome drinks and crackers. But no shoes are allowed inside the tatami floored hotel but its for good reason. I loved the experience! They let you borrow a yukata for free to get a feel of wearing traditional japanese comfort outfit , they even allow you to use it outside the hotel as you wander in the aArshiyama area. They have a public onsen and 5 private onsens that hotel guests can use for free, you just need to wait for ur turn to use the private ones. They give guests free ice cream and cold drink to endulge in after the hot bath. At 10:30 to 11:30 pm they give out free simple ramen to guests who are hungry. Its was such a treat because the arashiyama area has no open restaurants at night. Though there is a family mart right outside the hotel for ur midnight muchies. It is also just right across the metro station and like 5 to 10 minute walk to the main touristy streets in arashiyama. Our stay here was the best! I wish we stayed for another night, but it was our last night in kyoto before going to osaka. We will dedinitely stay here again if we come back to kyoto.
Anniversary treat”
What an extraordinary experience. I booked this place as a wedding anniversary treat while visiting Japan and wanting to see Arashiyama and experience a ryokan. This place was fantastic: beautiful room, the resort was superb, clean, quiet, with lovely staff, and so many things: public and private baths (greatly appreciated for us because we have tattoos, library, spa, smoking area, shop, yukata rental. All beautifully decorated. The food was to die for, traditional Kyoto hot pot and traditional Japanese breakfast. Although served at the hotel restaurant, you have your own private booth. Not only were we full but the quality was one of the best I've ever had. The staff speaks English which helps when you only have little Japanese. The resort is right in front of the station and only a ten-minute walk from the main attractions, which was greatly appreciated for our aching feet. I would encourage anyone to go there and use the opportunity to chill at the resort between long days of visiting, it's well worth spending the afternoon there.
Beautiful Hotel and Private Onsens”
This Hotel is my absolute favorite! The 5 different onsens you Can wait for to try out! Or you can walk into the public onsen which is only crowded in the evenings after 8pm. If you go early morning or around 4:30pm it is quiet. Everyone is going to dinner. So you can have the whole public onsen to yourself ! They have the best skincare products! Absolutely love the coffee/tea station available all day and night. Free ramen from 10:30pm to 11:30pm so the kids are lucky to have some if they make it to that time. Which is rare! Haha The breakfast I would say to pass on! The kids that were with us got sick from some of those side dishes they give you with the breakfast set. Me and the other adults had bloating all day from it. So I highly suggest not to book the hotel with the breakfast options. The breakfast menu is totally different than several years ago. Now it is a set course with 15 different little side dishes and if you mix all of it in your tummy… it causes havoc! So stay away! Dinner was a tricky one too. It is not beef shabu shabu, it’s chicken shabu shabu and blocks of tofu. If you don’t eat meat then it’s great for you! But if you think you’re getting beef shabu shabu or sukiyaki, the picture they show you when you first check in, it has a closed pot so everyone assumes it’s beef sukiyaki but it’s very tricky. If you pay for 2 nights of dinner with your hotel, the 2nd night is beef shabu shabu. Not your first night of dinner with your stay. There are tons of great restaurant spots around the hotel but they close by 6pm so be careful to eat early! There are the cutest coffee and bakery shops too for the morning time! So don’t think you have to eat breakfast here. Besides that our overall stay is amazing and we love the boys that give strong foot massages too! The best massages ever!
