The location of L'Fisher hotel is strategically located at the heart of the city. You can walk around the area to try all delicacies Bacolod can offer. All of their staff are great, specially their housekeeping as every nick and cranny will be sure to be cleaned everyday. The only department they got the short stick from me is with their facilities. Their LCD TV in 4:3 resolution does not support HD channels from their cable. Then a little preference issue, is that their lighting inside the room is way too linear in the shade of yellow. Overall, my stay was superb and the place is worth recommending for if you will visit Bacolod.
Thank you very much for your comment/feedback. We appreciate you getting out of your way to let us know of our lapses. We sincerely apologize for any inconveniences this issue may have caused you. Rest assured, we will be forwarding your concern to the higher management and will make every effort to see that this event will never happen again in the future. Still, we would like to express our heartfelt thanks for choosing to stay at L'Fisher Hotel.
Great Holiday Getaway”
I enjoyed my stay at the L'Fisher hotel which has improved since my first stay two years ago. The breakfast in the hotel restaurant is probably one of the best I have experienced in Bacolod, and greatly improved due to the expanded variety of offerings. Staff service throughout the hotel was excellent. I especially enjoyed the holiday atmosphere with the Gingerbread house selling baked goods, and the Christmas music being played in the lobby. I tried the large rooftop swimming pool on top of the conference center and will use it again in future stays. It had an excellent pizza restaurant right next to the pool.
One of the few”
One of the few survivors of the Covid 19 Plandemic. However, it is not without any unfavorable effects: the restaurant is closed — no more unbelievably nutritious and bountiful breakfasts. The staff, although courteous and efficient, is only a few —but suitable to handle the not-too-many quests in house. Some public doors stay locked until requested to open, thus adding, to a degree, cheerless ambience that, in light of former glory, earnestly looks forward to brighter days ahead. May God help us travelers to survive as well: because some of the favorite hotels in Bacolod (Westown) are open for business — BUT SHOULD NOT BE. Be warned: Travelers beware! They neglect to advertise: No hot water; No cable TV, No telephones. Adding to deplorable conditions are the security guards (Not hotel staff) take pains ministering to the unsuspecting guests! Thank God for L'Fisher! An unfailing oasis in the risky wilderness of the migrants, passengers and tourists. We award them L’Tried & True for the Traveler.
Still the Best”
This is the second time I've stayed in L'Fisher and I think it's still the best hotel in Bacolod. It came highly recommended by the locals and it did not disappoint. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The service (especially housekeeping) was very quick. The food was also good. Being a vegetarian, we sometimes find it hard to get good meals but C's L'Fisher had a pretty good variety; They also custom made certain meals for us.
Just great ”
We have now been to L'Fisher 3 times in a short time and this time too, excellent! What I love are the little things like shampoos, water and coffee stoves. Despite covit and unfortunately the breakfast I'm plastic box, this is very good. Very friendly not slimy staff that I like very much as a foreigner. 😂 Is not played. And not to forget the beautiful pool with really great courteous pool staff who are concerned that it has towels. The only shame is that there is no parasol for damage. Looking forward to coming back anyway. Incidentally, I've had a few nights in a hotel in Bacolod, but the lfisher is the best value for money.
A good option for a stay in Bacolod”
This is my first vacation to the Philippines, and we travelled to Bacolod to visit family. We selected L'Fisher based on a family recommendation and we were satisfied with the hotel. Highlights. STAFF - very attentive to foreigners. They truly want to ensure you have a good stay and take care of you, treated the front staff to some cookies on check out today as they were always so friendly. Love e smiles..... BREAKFAST - when Travelling it is nice to have meals included, especially breakfast. Maybe not as elaborate as resorts in Mexico, but it certainly takes care of my needs every morning. I liked the coffee.... No need to go to Starbucks. And if you want a little more of a coffee boost, try the pastry/coffee shop attached tot he hotel at the front - they server Italian coffee - very good... POOL-very nice pool and the staff there are very attentive as well.... SPA - HUGE BONUS - it was very nice to have this attached to our hotel. Prices are so reasonable, we had an in room massage for 2 at a total cost of 1,100 Php (that's about 25 Canadian). Went to the spa for a 1 hour foot massage and that was only 580 Php. Really nice staff and good massages. ROOM - it is clean enough, not to sure about how clean the carpet was so we wore sandals. Beds we good to sleep on, I wasn't sure at first but every night I slept well. Mini bar is good for keeping bottled water cold. No ironing board in the room but for 50 Php you can rent one for 30 minutes. Vault was a little fussy, but I got it to work. TAXI-they are always available and very reasonable. SAFETY-I feel very safe in this hotel. Security does a very good job. We are booked in for another 17 days an I'm sure our stay will be just as nice, many more spa visits we are planning. 7-11 - very close, handy for bottle water, snacks and alcohol beverages.
Well Located in Center of Bacolod”
This is my favorite hotel in Bacolod. Conveniently located downtown within walking distance of good restaurants, convenience store next door, even karaoke lounge nearby. Hotel is older, but pretty well kept up. Swimming pool I did not use. Good hotel to have conference in Bacolod. I saw Pacquiao boxing match in ballroom. Restaurant has buffet breakfast, but limited selections, but what was given was good.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at L'Fisher”
L'Fisher was one of the more expensive places we stayed at during our Philippines holiday, but was worth the extra money. The rooms are a little dated, but very comfortable. Staff were extremely accommodating and the included buffet breakfast was great. There's not heaps to do in Bacolod, but everything worth doing was close by.
A Satisfying Stay”
The hotel is located in the heart of Bacolod, few minutes away from the Provincial Lagoon and Negros Museum. It is surrounded with cafes and restaurants. The hotel itself is complete with great amenities and facilities. A perfect place to relax and enjoy. One thing to improve - staff/receptionists should smile more often.
We love the room, very clean and comfortable. The location is just a walking distance from the best places in bacolod, Calea, Diotays, Bacolod inasal..etc. .My only concern is that the access to the pool is very inconvenient. From our hotel room we need to pass through the lobby, exit from the back door of the hotel, where there are a lot of cars passing through, and enter another building where the pool is located. But over all i really recommend this hotel.
Superb accomodation when in Bacolod”
The location of the hotel is very accessible. It's one jeepney away from the SM Bacolod Supermarket and Robinsons Place Bacolod. It is also near restaurants and a 24/7 store where you can buy some stuff at late hours. The hotel is located at the center of the Lacson street, where the street parties and the "Electric Masskara" event is held. So when you visit Bacolod on October, this is where you want to stay.
Superb Stay At L'Fisher Hotel”
Our Stay at L'Fisher Hotel was nothing more of excellent our rooms were clean and changed daily by very experienced housekeeping staff which were kind and polite The reception staff were very helpful and friendly nothing too great for all of them to handle The breakfast in the morning was just superb once again very helpful waiting staff especially our waitress Alisha who is a godsend beyond superb and all the other friendly waiting staff keeping us all topped up with tea coffee and water at regular intervals. This Hotel should be used as a platform for other hotels worldwide and their service should be taught to our hoterls here in London Well Done L Fisher Hotel look forward to future stays with you K.Moody & Family
Best Hotel in Bacolod”
A repeat visitor to L'Fisher Hotel, I am pleased to see improvements with each visit. Breakfast is vastly better from earlier years. They appear to have hired a first class Chef or Food and Beverage Manager. This last visit, I not only enjoyed the breakfast, but also scheduled my engagement dinner with my fiancé and her family at the hotel restaurant. Everything was delicious and the restaurant staff made the event memorable. I also had a family dinner at the rooftop pizza restaurant and was pleased to see that they offered Filipino cuisine as well as Italian food. We swam in the pool afterwards. My only concern is with the cleanliness of the pool water. My fiancé's nephew drank some of the pool water and the next day had to be admitted to the hospital for a week. He may have picked up something from the swimming pool, which appeared to be the main possibility of how he became so sick I would recommend that the hotel management do careful checking of the bacterial levels In the pool water. Chlorine treatment may be less than adequate. Anyway, this is not proven, just a possible source of this poor child's illness. Otherwise I had no concerns about this most recent stay. I will be a future client.
i like l'fisher and will booked again. but can you please accomodate our request to join the early shuttle trip to the airport. i know we checked in last wed but still...we are in bacolod now.
clean rooms, efficient service, highly recommended”
Probably the oldest and most prestigious hotel in Bacolod City. It is centrally located, an ideal location for first-timers in Bacolod City. Homecoming to return visitors. The hotel has expanded giving accommodation options for budget travellers without sacrificing location. Foodies will enjoy the cuisine, almost guaranteed to gain a few or more pounds with the city's many yummy dining options!
Good hotel in Bacolod”
I booked a super deluxe room so we could have somewhere to stay after a friend's wedding. The hotel was a little underwhelming considering that it is considered the best in Bacolod. It's better than other good hotels though. It wasn't a quick check in. Although the receptionists were nice, there was no sense of urgency in them. If there was, then I did not sense it. But I was able to check in 2 hours early without any problems so that's good. The room was okay. The sheets were clean and there were good towels (the other hotels in Bacolod don't exactly have good towels). There was no view from the window. The bathroom was clean and room was the usual space. Bathroom amenities were good. It's along Lacson so access to convenience stores and restaurants outside is never a problem. Local calls were charged (other cheaper hotels in Bacolod don't charge for calls). Their free WiFi was good for 24 hours and for just one device. Their 24 hours free WiFi was not exactly 24 hours. We checked in 12pm and first logged in to their free WiFi shortly after. By 9am of the next day, it said our log in had already expired. Airconditioning was good. In the middle of the night, I got up to use the tub. At about 3am, water from the faucet turned black (must have been because of some valid reasons) so guests must watch out for that. It didn't last that long. Free breakfast was only good for one person although I booked for two. Finally check out was not that quick but again the receptionists were nice. The hotel is the usual hotel. It would have been better if the rooms cost less. I might try L Chalet the next time.
L'Fisher's located in downtown Bacolod, which is about 30 minutes from the airport. The Deluxe Room is quite spacious and comfortable. The layout of the hotel is eligant and the service given by the staff is outstanding. It has an impressive top-deck swimming pool and there's an eatery as well located on the top-deck.
This was my 8th trip to Bacolod and my 5th stay at L'Fisher. The staff and facilities are great and it will remain my go-to for the foreseeable future. It would be nice if they replaced the carpets in the rooms or removed them entirely and went with tile only. It is very clean and they work very hard but in that environment carpets in rooms just get musty. You can avoid this by booking on the Chalet side.
Comfortable stay at an excellent location.”
We stayed at a super deluxe room and it was comfortable. However, there were only 2 pillows for a double+single bed configuration. Airconditioning is still the old window type but it was sufficient. Toilet had a tub which I always prefer. Our room had a safety vault, ref, and flat screen TV. Since it was in the old building, the room was quite a decent size and the floors carpeted. Location is very good as there are lots of eateries within the vicinity of this hotel. L'fisher has always been my favorite hotel in bacolod as it also has a rooftop pool which the children loved. Didn't try the spa.
The L'Fisher Hotel”
My stay in this hotel the second time around was very pleasant, as I stated before it has the best location in the City of Bacolod, with the most friendly efficient staff around, from security, cleaners, waiters, front desk, cooks and chefs to the head man himself, everybody finds time to be polite and acknowledge you, which I find this a big help when I'm away from home, the executive suite I stayed in this time was good value for money and very spacious and well designed and more modern than the privious time I stayed in this hotel. Breakfast is very good at the hotel now, if you want something different to eat then the Chefs or cooks will make it up for you.
