Excellent Experience for an affordable price”
I found L'Hotel Causeway bay on Agoda while staying at another hotel on the Kowloon side. I had a less than positive experience at that hotel, so I moved to L'Hotel. I wasn't expecting much, because the price I paid was only 10 USD/ night more, but when I arrived, I couldn't believe my eyes. This hotel's location was far far better than the kowloon hotel. Kowloon/Hong Kong aside, I was walking 15 minutes every morning to the nearest MTR. L'Hotel was a matter of crossing the street. The other hotel I had a small, but clean room, with a nice bathroom. L'Hotel, on the other hand, gave me a room about three times the size, with a bathroom in similar proportions. The room was way more luxurious, and the staff would deliver ice within 5 minutes of being called. They also provided me with an ironing board and an iron, and this came 3 minutes from when I called. I never tried the restaurant or bar, though they looked equally elegant. I suspect that the reason for the incredibly low price is that this hotel is new, and trying to amass a following.
beyond expectations”
this was my second stay at l'hotel harbourview causeway bay in the span of 6 weeks. i was very happy to repeat! rooms are very spacious and truly comfortable. furnishings are modern and tasteful. i particularly liked the parquet floors and the nice shower. storage areas are more than adequate. the hotel offers a sauna and swimming pool (pool usually closes during winter months) on the 39th floor. if you have a room on a high floor, you will command an awesome view of victoria harbour spanning both hong kong central and tsim sha tsui. i enjoyed the buffet breakfast which features both eastern and western cuisines. smoking rooms are available on request. staff at reception are very, very professional and efficient. i was very impressed and grateful for their fine work and attention to detail!
Value, comfort, service, amenities”
I spend two nights in this hotel with my family recently and can recommend it for value, comfort, service, and amenities. Perhaps due to recent events in Hong Kong, hotel prices have plummeted and we were able to book a room on the 21st floor with a king-sized bed for just over HKD 900. For that reason alone this luxury hotel is highly recommended. Excellent comfort including strong wi-fi signal, comfortable bed, great amenities, and excellent friendly service. Our room was cleaned each morning before 10:00. We did not visit the pool nor the restaurant, so cannot comment on those. As for downsides, this hotel is not located in the shopping district of Causeway Bay, but on the other side of Victoria Park, directly across from MTR Tin Hau station. That said, the MTR station is directly across the street and one stop away from the Causeway Bay station. All in all, highly recommended.
Good value hotel in a great location.”
l'hotel has a great location, across the road from the tin hau railway station, which takes advantage of hong kongs'fabulous public transport system. the rooms are medium in size, clean and very well appointed, sound proof against the busy road, and our room had spectatular views of causeway bay. within a 2 minute walk we had a supermarket, pharmacy, fresh bakery, greengrocers, and "restaurant row". we also took advantage of the roof top pool. the only thing missing (and maybe this is common in hong kong)was a self service laundry/iron either in the hotel or surrounding area. laundry service per item was available in the hotel.
Great Location”
l'hotel causeway bay harbour view is just across the mtr tin hau station, not in the causeway bay station. it is very close to the victoria park. there are a lot of convenient stores and restaurants around the hotel. i really love the view of the victoria harbor from my room at the 27th floor. the hotel does not have free wifi but overall i would like to recommend this hotel. i would like to stay here again.
very good hotel for business or pleasure”
L´Hotel Causeway Bay Harbour View does honor to its name by featuring great views of the harbor. I had a superior individual room on the 32nd floor. From my window, I could see both Hong Kong island and Kowloon. View of the Convention Centre was prominent. This hotel has a good location adjacent to Victoria Park. The hotel is currently undergoing the final touches of a renovation that is producing attractive results. My room was very comfortable - spacious by Hong Kong standards for 4-star hotels. It had a nice parquet floor and comfortable bed. Storage areas were a bit limited, but sufficient. There is a safety deposit box. I appreciated the nice bathroom amenities. The hotel has a pretty complete fitness area and offers a breakfast including both Oriental and Western cuisine. Smoking rooms are available on request. Staff were courteous and efficient. I will stay here again.
Great location and big space!!”
I have been to Hong Kong for many times and alwasy stay in hotels that with limited space. So, even reviews say that L'Hotel is bigger than average,I still felt worried before I entered my room. Out of my expectation, the room is much bigger than average. It even has a bathtub! That is something hard to see in a standard guest room. We have 2 adults and one 12 years old boy. The queen bed is big enough for 3 of us. The room is nice and clean. After we open out luggages, we still have planty room to walk around. Our room is located at 33rd floor. Although there is no ocean view for that room, but the street view is not that bad. We staied there for 3 nights. The room is always clean when we head back to the hotel. The hotel offers 2 bottles of distill water for free everyday. It's very nice especially during the hot summer time. I purchased a 3G SIM card from 3-shop, so I didn't use any internet service in the hotel. I did see cable in the room, and there are PCs in the lobby for guests. Locationwise, the hotel is just across street of the MRT station, and the bus station is also near by. You can also take cable cars around the city. There is a stop near by the hotel. We wasted a lot of time to go to the far away places to find souvenirs and great food, but ended up to find that there are many good restaruants and stores that close to the hotel within the walking distance. I will definitely stay in L'Hotel next time when I come back to Hong Kong.
Great Hotel”
Upon arrival at L'Hotel Causeway Bay Harbour View Hong Kong, I was greeted by one of the reception clerks. She was very courteous and helpful. I had originally requested a room for myself, but my wife had decided to join me, and when I asked for a room with a King Size bed, she immediately got to work and upgraded my room.
Good value and convenient location for MTR”
2nd time staying at L'Hotel Causeway Bay Harbour View, the first time was a few years ago. Nice hotel with good location and very competitive rate. The main downside of this hotel is the lack of wifi in the room. Wifi is only available in the lobby so you always see a lot of people in the lobby with their laptops, iPads and smart phones. Surprised that a city hotel in HK, especially a stylish and modern looking looking one like this still doesn't have wifi in room. Room offers LAN cable connection only. Time to update this very important facility I think. Absolute best thing about this is that it is right across the street from Tin Hau MTR station. Got every type of shops nearby, and a decent super market. This time around the hotel is really really full with bus loads of mainland chinese tourists and it was can be very busy in the lobby and at breakfast. Rooms are nice, when you book on agoda make sure you specify your bed type preference. I said in the booking it's one adult per room but we still ended up getting rooms with twin beds, thought that should have been obvious. Good hotel overall though, and with the attractive rates, and location, I would definitely come back.
Commitment”
Having an upgraded room, I can not ask for more. The suite is elegant, the hotel is clean, the reception staff are accomodating. Since most of the hotel guest making reservations to the hotel are eyeing the causeway bay area, walking from the hotel to causeway bay is quite taxing. Best, just take the MTR at causeway bay and exit at the next MTR station. The hotel is just about 100 meters from Exit A. Being an environmentalist, i hang a bath towel which i still intend to use as I used it only to dry my face. I was surprised that the towel was laundered and chenged. May be the housekeeping staff should be aware of the hotel's environmental policies. Also, the hotel lobby is not as busy as other hotels, you feel comfortable and at ease. The check in service as well as the check routine is fast and efficient. Thanks to the qualified reception staff.
great location”
After much deliberation, we chose L'Hotel Hong Kong. The hotel is right opp metro, which sounds bad in a way, but the Metro system in HK is amazing and we found it so easy to get where ever we wanted to go. The location is a bit quieter than Causeway Bay and we found some great restaurants and had massage for $138 HK which was a very reasonanble price. We would definately recommend this hotel. We asked to be on a higher level to hopefully get a harbour view, they were all booked, but they put us on 37th floor which had good view.
great location but rather small room”
we choose the same group hotel with l nina hotel tsuen wan with hoping this l hotel causeway bay provide same quality. frankly the material and hotel building is not as new as l nina hotel. its fine because from the first we know one is 5 stars then the other is 4 stars. however this l hotel have great location since its only 3 minutes walk to nearest mtr tinhau. many small shops and restaurants around. very easy to find food or just mineral water, bottled ice tea, fresh fruits etc. its worthed with the prices we paid. convinience and not noisy.

Exceptional”
It was my 2nd time staying with L'Hotel and it didn't disappoint. Location was superb with Tin Hau MTR station just across the street. It's only one station away from Causeway Bay station and you can walk about 15min there too. Lots of local eateries around the hotel so we were spoilt for choice when it came to dinner time. We went for the buffet dinner on our last night (there's discount for hotel guests) and upon knowing it was nearing my father's birthday, the staff took the initiative to arrange for a birthday cake slice to celebrate. Will definitely go back to stay again the next time I go Hong Kong!
I keep returning to L'Hotel for the convenience.”
L'Hotel is a preferred hotel for me and my family. We like its proximity to Victoria Park (being our route of choice to nearby Causeway Bay). There are also a number of casual restaurants around the hotel for quick meals, as well as a decent selection of groceries and convenience stores. On top of this, L'Hotel is right across the Tin Hau MTR station, allowing for easy commutes to the best locations in HK. Within the hotel itself, wi-fi access is provided for free, but is limited only to the lobby and cafe areas. All in all, however, L'Hotel is a no frills hotel that my family and I find perfect for a relaxed itinerary.
Good location”
The L Hotel Causeway Bay Harbour View is located just opposite to the Tin Hau MTR station (not the Causeway Bay MTR so don't be mistaken by the name of the hotel). Great location with good restaurants nearby. The room rate is very reasonable for this standard. The room is not small as of HK standard. But only free wifi available in lobby which is small and full length glass wall makes you feel like sitting in the street.
great location and service”
My family and I have stayed at L'Hotel for the past three years, and have always found it satisfactory. It is very much a no-frills hotel, which is perfect for the practical traveler. The location is near Causeway Bay, except the hotel is right across Tin Hau station (which is quite convenient). There are also a few restaurants and groceries in the general vicinity (i.e. Cafe de Coral, McDonald's, Starbucks, Wellcome, etc.). Causeway Bay itself may be accessible through the MTR, through trams, or through a relaxed 15-minute walk via Victoria Park. L'Hotel is very much recommended.

l' hotel Causeway Bay Hong Kong”
On arrival at the hotel I was delightd to find that it was only a pedestrian crossing away from the mtr station. Iconic Hong Kong trams run past the front door of the hotel. Once inside the staff were friendly and effiient and I as lucky enough to be upgraded to a suite with harbour views. The suite was large , airy and spotlessly clean with a living room bedroom two showers and a stand alone bath. The picture window wound around in a curve giving a sweeping view over vctoria park and then to the harbour....Outstanding!. Robes and toiletries were of a high standard and the bed was large and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel and will definately stay here again when I revisit Hong Kong.I ate out in the city so I can 't review the food.
A convienient hotel with a touch of the unknown”
The hotel is well situated for Causeway Bay and public transport and from the roof and some rooms has excellent views of Hong Kong. It's a very busy tourist hotel very reasonably priced, the staff are super efficient but this doesn't leave much room for pleasantries. Check in and out in a matter of minutes, and find your own way from there. There is no hotel guide even the lift gives no indication of where things are, so if your visiting the gym and the small swimming pool are on the top floor and coffee shop on the 1st floor, there I have spoiled the fun. The 1st floor coffee shop is just that, there is no restaurant, but the food served is excellent, however there are plenty of very good varied local restaurants within 50m of the hotel. The rooms are comfy and clean but plain and simple, there is a bath which nowadays you don't find in many hotels and the Wifi is free and good enough. All in all a good hotel if your not expecting too much individual attention (which is good for some).
