Great location, unbeatable staff”

The hotel is in a great location, and our room was very spacious and comfortable. However, what really made our stay stellar was Carolina at the front desk! she recommended 2 great restaurants for dinner that we absolutely loved, and was tremendously helpful with recommendations, directions, etc. She made our stay a truly memorable experience. Gracias Carolina!

Excellent reception staff! Breakfast was fine although the option of a continental breakfast would have been appreciated.
Aircon was a little noisy and not very effective.

A beautiful, old-world hotel in the city centre, near shopping, museums, and restaurants.”

I stayed in the superior Suite Pomerol, which is very large and quiet, with a nice bathtub and incredibly high ceilings. the bed was very comfortable and the linens lovely. The location cannot be beat and the breakfast was plentiful.
This is France - so the air conditioning is not exactly incredible, and the public areas of the hotel are not air conditioned at all and are very hot. The room stayed cool enough to sleep in, however.

Superb”

Beautiful building full of character. Excellent location for sightseeing, shopping and restaurants. Rooms very comfortable and well appointed. We stayed in a superior room with a small balcony overlooking the lovely street below and with a side view of the wonderful Saint Andre cathedral. Only problem was not enough time to enjoy the place fully.

Excellent stay in a very special small hotel in central Bordeaux”

Huge room with two large seats either side of the fireplace. Bathroom was excellent with a bath and separate roomy shower. We really liked breakfast served at table with freshly made scrambled eggs, fresh orange juice, a little yogurt bowl and plenty of croissants, cake and waffles. Location was perfect, very central and next to tramline A. Very interesting tall old building, luckily with a lift!
The separate toilet without basin by the entrance to the room was a bit inconvenient for handwashing. Bit of noise from the street when we opened the windows.
