Fantastic Pocket of Calm in Anilao”
My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary here and the experience was simply A+. Photos do not do this place justice. Our favorite bits: the saltwater pool across the rooms, the divine view of the ocean, and the fact that the west-facing amenities offer an incredible view of the sunset. We were only able to snorkel across the resort (you'll have to swim a little further from shore to see more fish and corals), but next time we'll definitely take the island snorkeling tour to Sombrero Island. The food is nothing fancy, but everything was fresh and made with love. Delicious. We also availed of the spa services --- you must do this. Thank you, La Chevrerie! We will of course be back. (Ps. thank you for the Anniversary balloons and flowers in our room!)

Me and my boyfriend had a great time here at La Chevrerie Resort. The location is very serene and quiet. Definitely will be back soon. I like the personality of their staff, very friendly and respectful.

Excellent and attentive service for rooms (not kitchen)”
Excellent and generous service from the Filipino staff led by Maia. They gave my mom a complimentary birthday cake and attempted to have a private dinner set-up by the pool facing the see although it rained, put a birthday banner in her room, which was the most convenient in the resort for a senior citizen. The resort dog, "Dog-Dog" was also entertaining. Given the price and size of the rooms, we hope a bidet can be installed in the toilet and it would be nice if there is a bath tub. The "spa" in the resort name doesn't live up to standard because the masseuse is only on call. It is a carefully designed boutique resort given the quality of fixtures but extra care must be done for maintenance. The waitresses at the restaurant seem to be overwhelmed or being pressured by the kitchen to pace meal orders. We were repeatedly told to pre-order our dinner before our lunch arrived. Our order of fries during happy hour never came because some groups were already having dinner by 6pm.

Nice getaway”
It was a nice 3-day weekend stay at La Chevrerie. My only issue is the restaurant - the meals are too expensive. Other than that, we enjoyed immensely and credit the staff for their attentiveness and good work attitude. The massage was also nice.

As expected, there is no shoreline that’s sanded Since all the other resorts really don’t have that as well. But u can snorkel from the dock. Water is clean and u hardly see any trash (which is a big plus) The resort is lenient with you bringing food n drinks since the restaurant doesn’t have such a wide variety of choices. Overall review... I would recommend this even to my very judgemental family. I think the drive coming over wasn’t too bad as well :)

Birthday weekend”
La Chevrerie is really nice especially if you go there on a weekday when there are not much guests. Things to improve on: 1. Food selection - the breakfast menu and portion is good. Breakfast food was good - but breakfast is just simple. I hope the place can offer more grilled stuff and seafood. Pizza was good though but you can't eat pizza for 3 days right? 2. Service - hope staff service can improve. Imagine there are no dental kits in the room. Front desk said that it is by request only. Are you serious??? Also, they don't have lotion - considering it is a beach resort. I guess this place is good to try but really not sure if it is a place that you'd always go back to.

Exceptional”
Beautiful Interior, Good Food, Excellent View, and Good Customer Service. My only comment, the pool was not maintained. Probably because it was not Peak Season. We went there after Christmas Break and there were only 6 people occupying the resort. The point is, I swam a bit, and I noticed the pool was a bit dirty. Hopefully they can do an everyday maintenance with the pool next time. I still highly recommend this place.

Staff is fabulous! They will go the extra mile to help make sure you’re stay is nice! The girl at the spa was accommodating and very nice! The guys at the dive shop were knowledgeable. We did a trip to a nearby island that was fun and the BBQ fabulous!

Best Resort Hotel in Batangas”
Very friendly staff, quality of the hotel is 5 stars international Hotel, but authentic Boutique Hotel, Fresh product for the Restaurant, wine cellar and organic food. Very clean and hight standard for water pressure and Hot water at Room guest. Diving center provide good equipment and professional Instructor with good facility to study scuba diving diploma.

Everything was good. Food was just average. It is more or less a 3 hour to 4 hour trip away from Metro Manila, depending on how fast a driver you are. Mabini area has heavy traffic due to narrow roads.

Needs improvement to rate itself a 5 star resort”
Myself and my fiancée enjoyed our stay in this resort. Beautiful views and brand new resort. But I have stayed around the world at many hotels, resorts and this is not a 5 star resort maybe 3 stars at best. Food was nice tasting but lacked variety and amount. Boring and predictable. Nothing seemed to stand out. I ordered the steak that was priced at 950 pesos no side orders these were extras. This was a 400 pesos steak at the most. Food over priced and boring. Kitchen couldn't handle food orders even when there was a small amount of customers. Not enough staff in the resort or if there was I didn't see them as there was no uniform standards. Plates, cups, glasses and food scraps often left at the pool areas and tables a lot for high amounts of times I even noticed all day and over night. Pool not cleaned properly green mold in the pool and fungus growing around the pool decking. A lot of improvement required if this resort thinks it belongs in the 5 star category.

Great place for refresh”
The sea in front of this hotel was very clear and can see several kinds of fish, squid, crab and so on. We enjoyed snorkling very much. The hotel was also clean and better than we had expected. There is some improvement room for restaurant or food menue variety.

Nice brand new resort and friendly staff”
Resort is newly built. Nice big rooms, good interiors and amenities. They allowed to cook our packed food in their kitchen since we are vegetarians. They also allowed us to overstay for 6 hrs. A bit on expensive side but eventually we didnt mind because of their hospitality and flexibility.

Just okay”
The resort is pretty and clean and the place is very relaxing. I liked the pool and its nice to lounge around and enjoy the view. Although what really disappointed me is that if you go snorkeling right in front of the hotel, the corals are not as nice and colorful as compared to other resorts further down anilao (Its just rocks and some fishes and corals). The setup of the restaurant is very pretty but found the food a little bit expensive. For the price I was expecting something better.. but it was just okay (nothing too special).. and the breakfast was served cold and was not too tasty. Overall it was a nice experience and a relaxing stay. However, I wouldn't go back again. Once is enough.

The Place is amazing, the room is big and clean..bathroom is clean and nice..the pool is clean (tho some tiles are cracked kids might get hurt) but its nice.the beach area is rocky but the water is clean, my baby had fun throwing stones to the beach.. food is pricey but for me nd my hubby its worth it since its good. The employees are attentive nd approachable. Will come back again with my other nephews they will love the place for sure.

Very relaxing, your kind of sanctuary place away from busy city ”
Im very impressed cannot expect it was beautiful even we were only a few guests there. I also love the room very spacious, nice view from the balcony and also with good wifi service. I recommend this place if you're a type of person who loves nature and enjoys only the sounds of waves. The food is so so good! ❤️ I would probably going back here by any chance. Almost perfect --- if not for the NOT SO ACCOMMODATING RECEPTION STAFF”
Booked a room for an overnight stay just so we could find out if this would be another spot to consider for a weekend getaway. Requested for a lower level room initially but was disappointed to learn that apparently, very early check-in was allowed and was told the only room left was on the upper level. Room was spacious, with a nice view. Bed was comfortable but the air-conditioning seemed a little weak. Food was acceptable --- I would say a hit or miss. Restaurant was warm. Perhaps a fan mist would help? I've read about their pizza being highly recommended but turned out to be overcooked when we ordered. Drinks are okay. Highly recommend the Seafood Chowder. Restaurant staff were nice and accommodating but not for the reception area. Beach is good for snorkelling and scuba lessons but not for plain swimming as it is not a sandy beach but rocky. Pool was nice though. Tried to request for a late check-out and was willing to pay additional for it just to experience the resort a little bit more (to give enough reason for ourselves to say we would want to go back). The receptionist was unaccommodating with anything and the helpers could care less upon check-out and did not even offer assistance with luggage up the steps and were just practically staring as we struggled up the steps. Generally, the accommodation was nice. However, what makes a good resort is not only the accommodation but a combination of comfort, good food and good service (meaning the human factor that would make you want to come back) --- regardless of who you are. For the price paid, management might want to consider proper training for the Front Office/Reception personnel as they came across as being condescending. Consider more training for them please or perhaps consider a new batch of Reception Staff. The restaurant staff were patient and are to be commended --- esp. the lady who appears to be the head staff at the restaurant. Not recommended for people with mobility problems. I would consider g

The place is really nice. Rooms are in great shape, bed sheets, towels are clean and almost new, comfortable bed, clean pool and restaurant menu with many options. Staff is friendly and very service oriented.
