Perfect Spot of Lake Como!”
We LOVED our stay at La Darsena. Originally our plans were to spend a few days ion the Alps on our way to Cinque Terre from Zurich, but a broken foot made us change plans and opt for Lake Como. We definitely prefer a smaller local scene to the big resorts, so Tremezzo was perfect. We took a boat to Bellagio for fun, but enjoyed the villas in Tremezzo even better. Our room had a great little view of the lake, the staff was wonderful, and the restaurant was excellent. We sat on the veranda and enjoyed watching the sun go down on the lake. Breakfast at the hotel is also above and beyond the ordinary. For a affordable boutique hotel right on the lake, La Darsena can't be beat!

Good”
The restaurant of the hotel was quite good but tremezzo was not the ideal location we were looking for. It is the quiet area. Bellagio is ideal with great restaurants and shops.

Beautiful hotel with great hospitality”
Lovely hotel with great rooms overlooking the lake. Rooms are simple but have all you need including en suite, mini-bar & wi-fi. Rooms are clean and a good size. Its a very good hotel but what makes it great are the staff/owners. They could not be more helpful (or more friendly). Highly recommend this hotel and this part of the world.

Charming on the Lake”
Small, comfortable and the most welcoming staff! Very cosy little hotel and the view is unmatched! We had a balcony room, and the balcony is on the lake - so forget all the "lake view" hotels, there is none better than this! We will be going back at every opportunity! The food in the restaurant was awesome, both nights we were there, we ate there, a little pricey but worth every Euro - and they know their wines! tip: try the 2006 Zenato Amarone - simply gorgeous!
