Amazing Resort! ”
My stay at La Isla Bonita Resort was amazing! The room was spotless and well maintained daily. I can't say enough positive things about the staff. They went above and beyond to help my sister and I with tours, directions, airport transfers and massages. Breakfast was included in our stay and was delicious. There was a large variety of fruit, eggs, rice, pasta and bread. The best part about this resort is the location. It's beachfront and only steps away from beautiful and peaceful Station 3. La Isla Bonita exceeded my expectations with it's friendly staff, beautiful exterior, clean and comfortable interior and the safety I felt staying there. The next time I visit Boracay I will definitely stay there again!
Lovely hotel and service with a smile”
Minutes away from the famous White Beach of Boracay, The La Isla Bonita Resort is truly the perfect place for a getaway. Ensuring utmost privacy and comfort, The La Isla Bonita Resort in Boracay is simply idyllic for all. A very well run resort, they offer affordable designed rooms and suites, with a friendly service. The island also has a lot to offer aside from its beaches - golf, scuba diving, snorkeling, wind surfing, and parasailing. World-class restaurant are abound and a leisurely walk along the beach from The La Isla Bonita Resort has vibrant surroundings with a pulsating nightlife Boracay is so known for.
Comfortable Resort hotel. great location !!”
After 2 weeks in Boracay I moved Hotels to La Isla Bonita Resort for one weeks stay in clean, comfortable room with Air Con and big spacious bathroom. Breakfast each morning was a bonus. My room had cable TV, Ocean view with a small balcony to sit and enjoy!! Very friendly staff and the owners made me feel very welcome. I was even invited to a wedding held at the Resort on the beach in front. It was great fun and very special.... I would come back here anytime to stay again.
Best bang-for-the-buck hotel to crash in”
We got a deluxe room with breakfast for three nights, for the cost of an overnight stay at other places. So price-wise, it was a total win. Room was pretty large, and the aircon worked so well that we were freezing when we woke up in the morning. Breakfast was just right and satisfying. Its a 2 star hotel so manage your expectations, all we needed was a room we could leave our stuff and comfortably crash into after a whole day of beach trippin' and drinking. This place was perfect for that. I loved the location, it was quiet at night at near the best chill out spots on beach, go hang around Angol point (south Beach) rather than the crazy station 2 where all the tourists go. Angol point/beach has better food, cheaper drinks and a more quiet beach than the other stations. Little tip-- grab a meal at the Sunny Side Cafe at the hotel beside La Isla Bonita, damn good food.
Great for the price you pay”
La Isla Bonita is a great spot if you aren't going to be staying in your room all day (that being said the rooms are not bad at all). Considering you are on Boracay Island, that is likely not the case. Isla Bonita's staff were really friendly, albeit a little slow at times, and the atmosphere of the hotel is awesome. The real selling point is the location though. Right on the beachfront of station 3, it's surrounded by good food and music. Isla Bonita is a winner in my books. Boracay Island on the other hand, that was the real disappointment. Prostitutes, hustlers and sewage water coming out the taps. This was most likely paradise at some point in the distance past, but the usual taint that follows western and eastern tourists was apparent at every turn. Locals, living in squalor on the mainland, flock to the island in hopes of making some cash. This ultimately leads to said prostitution and hustling, the most annoying of which is the fact that you can't walk 5 meters on the beachfront without someone running up and incessantly offering different activities to do on the island. And when you politely say no, they follow you for 5 meters telling you all the other activities they offer, to which you have to tell them sharply, no. This process is repeated until you, the tourist, now know every activity offered by every company on the island. So, if your looking for paradise, look somewhere else. In fact stay at home if you can't be bothered to care about the well being of the island and you're looking for a 'fun luxury' holiday. Go pollute your own country instead of keeping the demand going for the destruction of other peoples.
Cheap and friendly budget hotel”
Cheap hotel located in the middle of Station 3. Stayed there over New Year's Eve 2015 (6 nights). Calm part of the beach and close to the dive boats and Talipapa market. A short walk from bars, restaurants, and clubs further up along the beach. To get to the best parts of White Beach for swimming and sun bathing, you need to walk a bit up (like 10 minutes). I enjoy the walk along the beach so it really isn't a downside but I guess if you're the kind of person who must go back to the hotel every once in a while to get stuff etc. it would be a bit annoying. The hotel is basic but nice and has an ambitious albeit quirky interior decorating. Staff is not very efficient but friendly and kind. They offer daily housekeeping on request. They included breakfast for the first night of my stay, I really appreciated the gesture but didn't enjoy the breakfast particularly. The café next doors (called "sunny side up" or something similar) serve up excellent coffee and a magic all day breakfast. This is one of the best breakfasts I've had in the Philippines (and I live in Manila) and the proximity to that is reason enough to stay in La Isla Bonita! I would recommend it to a friend who is keen on getting good value for his money and who wouldn't mind walking a little bit to get to restaurants and the better parts of the beach. And who would appreciate a good breakkie!
La Isla Bonita Resort”
My stay at La Isla Bonita Resort was Great. The Location is right in front of the beach. Staff is very friendly and speak English, Free breakfast, close to lost of different eateries and shops, Island Hopping, Sailing and other water activities is also fronting the hotel, I would recommend anyone to stay there.
Great Hotel if You're Looking for Simplicity”
My stay at La Isla Bonita was positive, with one caveat. First, some positive points: the staff was very friendly and funny, and the room I stayed in was huge with high ceilings and very clean. Second, negative points: the bathroom was dated and the water heater didn't work, and the bed wasn't very good (but not the worst I've experienced). Next, I want to clear some things up because before I stayed here I read other reviews claiming that the staff tries to 'nickel and dime' you and that the security is questionable. I totally disagree with these statements. They didn't try to persuade me to buy their hotel safe service. And since their lobby is staffed 24/7 and is located at the entrance and door locks sturdy, I felt like security was quite good. So I didn't feel the need to use their safe and didn't purchase that service. Inside the room there is a stocked mini-fridge with snack items for sale, but this is standard practice in hotels. And you can still use the fridge for personal items so it's still a benefit. Lastly, I want to mention that my room was decorated with some Christian items, like framed art of Mary and baby Jesus and some rosaries. Personally, I felt like that was strange and it bothered me slightly, but I didn't make a big deal about it. For some people, this might be significant though. The location will be good or bad depending on what you're looking for. It's located in station 3 and far from the action (about 20 minutes walk). Here, I'm referring to the shopping areas and party areas. There are still some restaurants and shops right by the hotel. For me, the location was inconvenient because every night I had to walk all the way to station 1 to party and then all the way back to station 3 to get back to the hotel. For for others, this may be exactly what you're looking for--if you want a quiet place across from the beach this is perfect. And if you walk just 5 minutes past station 3 you can really get away from all the crowds.
best value in boracay”
Great stay again at la isla bonita, this was my 2nd time using them in boracay and they are by far the best value for the money. They keep their prices low which to me is the most important thing. You can have a weeklong hotel right on one of the best beaches in the world for less than 1 night at an average off-beach hotel in Hawaii. This hotel rocks.
Inexpensive and worth to stay hotel!”
My Boyfriend and i stayed at La Isla Bonita Hotel located in the heart of Boracay Island also located on the beachfront of the stunning station 3 of white beach the staff was very pleasant, friendly and helpful. A great location, inexpensive hotel, very safe & secure, snuggled between two posh hotels, nice beach area. A perfect place to relax with your family and friends. Ill come back on that hotel when i visit again Boracay.
Great Location, Excellent Value for Money”
The hotel is reasonably priced and delivers all of the minimum necessities expected of a decent 2-3 star hotel. The location is excellent - it's located in between stations 2 and 3 of White Beach, Boracay. Not too close from the noisy night life, but not too far away from the exciting places of interest. Station 3 is also relatively less crowded, so it's better to swim or stay on that area of the beach (unless if you want to mingle with the crowd). The hotel staff are accommodating and friendly. Don't expect luxurious accommodations, though. You'll get what you pay for. But you surely won't be short-changed. If you're on a budget, and you want to stay at a hotel which is just a stone's throw away from the beach, La Isla Bonita is the place for you.
Booked this for a friend. Here's what he said: La Isla Bonita is safe haven in Boracay. The view of the beach just in front of the hotel is a testament that you are really in Bora. Their staff are accommodating and their rooms are good for people who wants to feel at home, away from the buzz of the streets. We enjoyed our stay and hoping for the next booking with them.
La Isla Bonita is good place to stay when you’re in a budget. It’s a beachfront property. The room is big as well as the toilet. It’s a bit old but they make an effort to make it clean. I like it because it feels homey unlike in hotels where the room is small and dark sometimes. But one thing I don’t like is they have dogs in their lobby. Once, before, my daughter was almost attacked by their dog if she did not run the opposite direction. And now they have this metal bar in the entrance so their dogs can’t go outside. So you have to go over that metal bar to enter , if you’re not careful, you might trip on it.
I highly recommend!”
Everything was nice — the room, as well as the comfort room, is huge and clean. The staffs were very accommodating. The place looks presentable and appealing plus in just 2 mins, you’re at the front beach already! (I highly recommend a morning swim between 5:45-6:30AM😍) Now, the only problem was the airconditioner. It was too small for the room, we can’t feel it unless you stand right infront of it. :( I woke up 3 times because I was sweating :( I really don’t know if it’s only from our room, but nonetheless, I would still recommend this place. Still feel free to try! Super budget friendly since we were in a group. I just wish the next time I go back, the airconditioner would be replaced or something for a better sleep next time 😂 Thank you, Isla Bonita!
Great value for a beach front hotel”
Right by the beach at Station 3. Cheaper than most hotels in the same area. Big rooms with veranda. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Comfortable bed. Hot shower. Pool is closed. Dated looking rooms. Window won't lock. Door locks doesn't feel secure. Lots of mosquitoes inside room. If you want a budget beach front hotel and don't mind a dated looking room, then you should definitely consider La Isla Bonita. rainbowjournal.com
beachfront hotel at very affordable price”
la isla bonita is a beachfront hotel that you can found in station 3 boracay beside crown regency hotel...this is the cheapest accomodation i have so far from agoda imagine only for 4 nights. wow! that's amazing! thanks la isla! thanks agoda! i'll go back again for sure...
Overall, it was satisfactory”
overall, our stay at la isla bonita hotel in boracay was satisfactory. the rooms were clean and well-kept. the staff were very friendly and were always able to attend to our needs and address any problems we had. location was ideal as well. it's very near the border between station 2 and station 3, so stations 1 and 2 are really not that far from the hotel. the only downside i experienced in this hotel is their limited choice on the breakfast menu. breakfast is the same every day, no variety. i am a filipino and would've wanted a filipino breakfast with rice, but apparently they do not serve rice. so i ended up buying rice from another restaurant. but other than that, everything was ok. i highly commend their staff for very good customer service.
Value for Money & Very Clean Hotel”
Initially, we only booked 2 nights thinking we would scout around for other hotels to complete our 4 night stay in Boracay. After searching the whole stretch, our decision was to stay on at La Isla Bonita. Not only was it reasonably priced, the staff and owner were very accommodating, the rooms were cleaned daily and our breakfast was very filling.
Great money for value hotel in Station 3”
This is my second stay in La Isla bonita and I find it to be one of the best hotels for the value in Boracay. Superior room had all the expected amenities: Cable TV with loads of channels, fridge, bathroom, etc. at a very cheap rate. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The price is very reasonable in compare with other resort along the white beach.
Great place for the budget conscious”
This is a great little hotel right on the beach front of boat station 3. If you are looking for a luxury hotel then this is not for you. The staff here are so friendly and this hotel served exactly what its purpose was and that was an air conditioned place to sleep. For the price you pay this place is great and we will definitely be returning. Thank you to the staff at La Isla Bonita for making our stay wonderful.
