Well, it has a good location. A beach front hotel along station 3 of boracay. A quiet place to stay. Room was so big for 1 or solo traveler. Just a bit of not good because aircon doesnt work well but it was ok, it has a fan so its not really that hot. Overall my stay was great. Till next time
The location was good but the room I booked (standard aircon) had no working power outlets which staff told me did not come standard with the room I paid for (?!?!?!?), and the electricity in the building went out two mornings in a row.. Room was not cleaned for unless the "make up room" door sign was hung which would not have bothered me so much if not for the fact that a friend who was also staying there, said her room was cleaned without needing to hang the sign. My room and friend's room also had roaches. Overall, the place is cheap, but it's possible to find somewhere that's also cheap with better facilities.
Beach front hotel. Has limited breakfast options and it is not included on your booking fee. Wifi is too weak when you’re far from the reception. Water supply also not good since My room is on the second floor. But if you’re on a budget I recommend this hotel cos it’s really near the beach and accessible to some other restaurants.
Great beachfront location”
Wow. You couldn’t ask for a better location. Station three. Quiet and away from all of the hustle. Great price. And if you’re looking for tour and travel talk with Mitch (Michelle) And she will do her best to help you out.
they upgraded our room for free from standard to grand... spacious room. low water current, no tv inside the room (so sad) i hope that this hotel will add the tv inside the room
The staff were awesome. They escort you to their room, give out recommendations for tours, they serve breakfast, they were so nice! If there's anything you need, you can ask them and they will see what they can do. That's what i loved the most during our stay. I love the bed! Super comfy and they have lots of clean pillows. The location is beachfront. Everything you need is just right there you just have to look around. It saved us time and money having to go to and from somewhere. I heard the tricycles there charge ppl way too much. I loved the owner and her dogs too.
Was good size with balcony and colourful, bright accommodation. Was beachfront so was good location. However, room had no tv and no coffee making facilities and hot water had to be paid and provided through a hotwater container. Otherwise not bad depends what your priorities are.
The location is amazing, right on the beach. Our room was BIG! We would stay there again. It's an older building but has lots of Spanish character
I booked this hotel because i dont have any options. I was disappointed because the room need to upgrade. They dont provide basic toiletress like soap, shampoo or even coffee at your room. They dont have bottled water also for their guest. The bed is old amd not comfortable for your sleeping. They dont have refrigerator and tv. I asked the reception why the room doesnt have tv, they say if you want tv in your room you need to pa, 200 php per day. This is the worst hotel ive been too, i dont recommend this.
Hote need lots of improvements”
Hotel had no TV in room, at one point there was a TV because the TV wall mount was still there with the cable sticking out of the wall. The A/C Unit was insufficient for the room which barely cooled the room and left a slight odor. Asked staff for a fan so I could sleep comfortably but could not even accommodate that, staff was not helpful at all and looks like they are trying to renovate the place but were just trying to earn revenue till the construction started. Many other places to stay with better value.
You get what you paid for”
The pillows and towels were smelly. The AC was not cold enough. No remote for the television. The only thing good about this is the location since its beachfront. Other than that, the hotel is cheap so that’s fine I guess
Booked this for a friend. Here's what he said: La Isla Bonita is safe haven in Boracay. The view of the beach just in front of the hotel is a testament that you are really in Bora. Their staff are accommodating and their rooms are good for people who wants to feel at home, away from the buzz of the streets. We enjoyed our stay and hoping for the next booking with them.
A bit shocked when we went inside our room, it was big for just a couple. It looked more of a family room. The room was okay but the location of the room itself is medyo nakakapraning kase it was located at the other side of the beach front. Meaning a couple of steps from the beach front. May stairs and hall pang dadaanan na Medyo nakakapraning pag gabi. Feeling ko isolated kame sa room na yun. Rooms near their office is much better so I suggest ask first when reserving. No lunch or dinner offered but they have breakfast. Also something's sketchy because we don't know if we were just that praning when we saw a key from the lock inside that we thought there wasn't when we left. And they had to ask if I had any card to be able to turn on the ac. So my happyplus card was used as the key to turn on the ac. All in all, the hotel was average especially if you're just after the beach experience.
Nice location easy to find the staff easy to aproach and the facilities is in good condition and a ”
Nice accomodation and great value for money
VALUE FOR MONEY”
You get a great value for your money considering that it is a Front Beach Establishment at an affordable rate. The room that we occupied was big. Though we didnt have a television set but it didnt matter much because most of the time...we are out enjoying the beach and water activities. The establishment is along the big hotels such as the Astoria Current, Sands Hotel and Crown Regency. So every morning...you can have the option to avail of the buffet breakfast from these hotels ranging from P450 to P550 only. The establishment is few meters away from where most of the water activities take off. Me and my husband truly enjoyed our stay in this hotel and will definitely take this hotel in our future Boracay trips.
This was a great place to stay for my family. Super close to the beach and the staff was awesome. The rooms were clean and we even had a small porch to relax on. If you are looking to be near all of the action on the beach this location is awesome. The beach and tourist attractions are only a step away. The beach is always full of tourist. However it's not that far from station 3 where it is much more quieter. All and all we enjoyed our time here and will surly come back
Nice tropical feel”
If u are looking for a place with a nice tropical island feel to it, then the isla Bonita will be a good choice... it is an older facility so don’t expect to many modern conveniences, but it is pretty reasonably well maintained...
Best for Locals. Choose Room101.”
If you've never slept on a bamboo "papag" with a "kapok"-filled mattress, or clueless what a "tabo" is, or haven't used a "balde" to soak your swimwear, then this resort might not be for you. I'm happy to report there is now a TV in Rm101 where I stayed, next to the front desk (see Anna's 3.2 rating in March2017). Sadly, WiFi only covers about a 5mtr. radius from the front desk, none beyond that. There was a slight "dishwater" smell in the toilet but that could have wafted in thru the window that opens out into the side alley. Bathroom is a spacious 12ft x 12 ft. Bedroom, maybe 18ft x 18ft. High ceilings at 14ft. If you're a simple traveler, with a laidback attitude, and a 30-second walk to the beach is foremost on your mind, this is where you should be. E-Mall, Budget Mart, D'talipapa, Main Road, are all a 7-minute walk away. The room & resort itself is one of the older ones on White Beach but location is tops. Plus, the off-season prices can't be beat (June is a great time to stay---but expect afternoon thunderstorms and monsoon rains that last 30-50 minutes). Resort is surrounded by bars and restaurants so noise might be an issue (but only until midnight).
Fun but distant”
The place is a bit far from restaurants and groceries. Wifi, which I badly needed, is very poor. Food and service is good but a bit pricey. On positive note, it is quiet and far from the noise of the city
Our stay was pretty good.I would have given them all 5 if not for the wifi connection..the staffs are friendly and hopitable. Our room is really good..but like i said no internet connection. I will go back here on my next visit
