This Heritage property provided great services from food to cleanliness. The staff was welcoming and warm made sure to make us feel home away from home. Excellent facility”
Breakfast was pretty delicious. A small yet peaceful place to read at first floor. This property is not listed on Agoda so request owners to either list it or remove it because it creates confusion when user books on Agoda but you are contacted you would say that property is not listed on Agoda. That's a scary statement having many similar scams happening on oyo and there is not good customer support on Agoda as well.

Would highly recommend the stay”
This place has such beautiful and humble interiors, with all the necessary facilities. The staff made every arrangement that we requested, with such kindness. Food - Thanks to the lady who provided us with our complimentary breakfast for the 3days stay; absolutely loved it! Rooms - Beautiful rooms! Multiple plug points, lots of space. And a balcony too. Location - Few mts away from rock beach, yet away from the hustle of the markets. You'll find shops, cafes, medical stores at walkable distance. Could be improved - 4-wheeler parking space. We had to park it on the street. They say valet parking is available, but it wasn't. No other cons as such.

Simply the best in town”
Best staff, nice rooms, good location, very cosy. Firstly, it is important to note that when any business is managed my women only, it will be well-run, clean, comfortable and care given for the clients comfort. This is not a standard hotel but more like staying in a guest-house. The decoration is very welcoming. The care the staff give is outstanding. Definitely this is the best place to stay in Puduchery. The only minus is the traffic noise, but that is impossible to escape from in the city. An in-room safe would be a plus, but the policy of admitting only genuine guests into the hotel make it feel safe enough. If we return to Puduchery / Auroville area this is the first choice place to stay.

There is a different feel of the property than a regular hotel. Rooms are clean and fresh though basic. Breakfast is limited but tasty and made with a lot of love. The location is good and cafes, church and beach are in walking distance. I will recommend this property!

Homestay with best location”
1. Homestay location is superb, all important destinations (Aurobindo Ashram, French Cafe’s, Rock beach, MG Road, Pondi Marina, Light House, Museum, Gandhi Statue, War memorial) can be covered by walk itself. 2. Staff is very supportive and polite. 3. You can get north/south indian home made food and even you can order food and get it cooked specifically as per your desire. However during breakfast only South Indian food available (mostly same everyday) which is kinda boring and hygiene can be little better. 3. Rooms are clean but lacks few important facilities like TV, intercom etc. but it’s not a big deal if room price is lower, we booked during Christmas so got it on high price which didn’t feel worth looking at room condition. 4. Homestay doesn’t have any sign board outside so you need to look closely or call manager/staff for help. 5. Parking is almost 500 meter away and you need to be walk if you need to use your vehicle however the area is so crowded that it’s not recommended to use vehicle, walk is good option. 6. Plenty of good restaurants of different themes available near by. Hope this review helps. Overall I was ok with my stay, I would have been more happier if I should have paid max 4k to 5k per day for this homestay.

Cleanliness stands out!!!”
Located in a prime location on bussy street, the hotel offers great accessibility to the market, restaurants and the promenade beach. Well kept property and spotless rooms. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The lobby gives a homely heritage feel along with modern rooms. There are no TV facility on the rooms. The only negative that put us off is the lack of parking facility near the hotel, it becomes difficult to even unload your luggage. The people around wont even allow you to halt your car for a few minutes to unload. They have a separate parking facility about 600m from the hotel. They guide us there and we can come back on their bike. If not for the parking issue the hotel is a great stay.

1. They can help themselves with a board outside the hotel. People will otherwise be lost. 2. They can keep 2 bins in their rooms. One should be for dry waste while the other will be for wet waste.

A decent place to stay for a family . Staying with times there is no TV in the room instead free wifi has been provided.Smoking and alcohol is strictly not allowed.Most of the staff are all women. Location is good and close to beach and eateries.

One of the best heritage stays in pondicherry ”
Our stay was for 2 nights and based on my experience I can say that it's one of the best heritage homes in pondicherry (especially on a budget). Its well maintained, staff are cordial, clean and most of all it was homely. Loved our stay. We would definitely stay at La Maison pondicherry the next time we visit pondicherry.

The ambience and fragrance is wonderful, but disappointed with the booking as Agoda showed us the Balcony room and when we visited the facility it was a closed room, not worth for money. Felt too expensive for that room, price would be worthy if provided with balcony, also disappointed with Agoda for showing a different room which ruined our couple night.

We enjoyed the peace here, even though it’s on a busy road once the doors close behind you it’s very peaceful. The reason I am giving the staff a 2 star is because we didn’t appreciate the way the security guard begged us for tips as we were leaving early in the morning. He didn’t do anything to earn a tip and kept asking us as we were trying to leave
