Comfortable Stay at Pondi”
My sister and I stayed at La Maison Radha for 3 nights. This was our first visit to Pondicherry so we didn't know what to expect or what places to visit. We should have done our research, but we didn't need to, because Sam (he's kind of like the main point of contact once you arrive at the homestay) gave us all the information we needed soon after we got there. He gave us a map of the city with details about major spots to visit (both sights and restaurants) and their timings. He showed us around the property and ensured we knew our way around it. Sam also arranged transport for us when we wanted to visit Paradise Beach. We felt very welcomed and comfortable thanks to his hospitality. The property itself is very well maintained. It is impeccably clean and safe. We stayed in the Parrot Room and were more than satisfied with it. The common areas (hall, kitchen, terrace, etc) are very inviting too. We especially enjoyed using the terrace at night. There's a lovely little space with benches, lighting, wind chimes and a thatched roof. It creates the perfect ambience for a late evening chat. We didn't use the kitchen, but it's well stocked with equipment to cook yourself a meal (or store edible items). There are some books in the dining area too, if you have some time to kill. They also have a hall where you can store your luggage and freshen up after checking out (if you're leaving later in the day). The location is quite good. A fifteen minute walk will get you to the Promenade. Almost all good restaurants and tourist spots are within walking distance from the homestay. We didn't really find anything they could improve. They've already ensured that all needs a traveller could have are met. Overall, staying at La Maison Radha was a great experience. We definitely recommend it to anyone who is visiting Pondicherry.

Pondy for 2 days with Kids. ”
We stayed in La Maison Radha for 2 days. Host Ravi was so nice he will let you know all the details about the Pondicherry like where to go , at what time , where do we find good food , restaurants. etc The open terrace was amazing . we were given initially Music room and later Butterfly room as a surprise for my daughter. I loved the concept of painting each room with different images and naming for the post boxes. Also this place is very close proximity to the Beach road , MG Road. Host Ravi is very generous. Overall a pleasant and comfortable stay

Lovely and homely stay in Pondy”
Ravibhai was incredibly helpful and I had a very pleasant 3 days at La Maison Radha. It does feel like home, and each room has a lovely mural on one wall. Would recommend for a quiet stay within walking distance to all sites in Pondicherry

A very comfortable stay”
La Maison Radha was tough to find the first time, nestled in between similar buildings on an unassuming street. But once we were there, it felt like another home. Mr. Ravi and his wife made us feel like family and the place, a second home. They explained the places to visit and provided us with a clear ititenary. This helped us with our short trip a lot.

Super great homestay house in Pondicherry”
Room was very clean and comfortable. Highly recommended especially if you re foreigner or new in Pondicherry. Ravi is a very nice, caring host and he kindly recommended me good places and restaurants around the city. His recommendations were all very satisfying. He is fast in respond and eager to do your favor. He helped me reserving the bus to Madurai, and called tuk-tuk for me to get to bus stand at 7:40 AM in the morning. Water purifier is available in kitchen so you can get fresh water there. Hot water and AC are great, and there was no Hair dryer. My room was butterfly room, and it had weak wifi, the only weakness of the stay.

Really nice room/homestay”
Really liked the place. It's a homestay so the family lives on the ground floor and the rooms are above it. It feels like a shared appartment. Nice kitchen and common area for eating, preparing food. We stayed in the music room and the room is really nice for the price, very clean, airco, nice hot shower, even the wifi was working in the room. Outside the room place to sit and on the next level.there was a roof terrace. We stayed two nights and left with a nightbus and they let us use everything even after checkout. We could even shower. People are very nice, give you a lot of info on what to do and where to eat and you can ask for everything. They helped us book redbus tickets. Feels very safe to because everyone has it's own key to the front door. Location good, everything within walking distance. All in all very nice stay!

On arrival you get a perfect intro to Pondicherry including a map, highlighting all relevant spots. Also, south indian food will be explained. Delicious breakfast! Rooms are small, but clean and have everything you will need.

I would highly recommend this property. It is value for money and the owner (Ravi) is friendly and gave us detailed descriptions of what all can we do whilst in Pondicherry. Location is perfect. 5 Minutes away from promenade. Highly recommended!

The house owner Mr Ravi was a very good human being who took care of us for our every need.He was extremely cordial, became a great guide for our travelling plans.He allowed our belongings in his custody beyond check out time which was so nice of him.Rooms are well furnished,clean and bath rooms are well maintained.Location is in the heart of the city. Everthing is good, but there is no television in the room,though there is a TV set in the common room. We enjoyed our stay though one day in the month of December.We would like to extend our best wishes for Mr Rabi and his team.

A good value for money stay”
This was a great little find, set off the main street so that bit quieter. There's a lovely,peaceful terrace and nice places to sit and relax. It's very convenient for the railway station and there are plenty of places close by to eat in. The owner Ravi and his manager Sam where very helpful indeed and provided a map with various useful pieces of information regarding where to eat ,visit etc. We enjoyed our stay so much that we extending our stay. All in all a great place .
