Very, very, very good experience here”
We stayed in La Niche D'angkor Boutique Hotel for 3 nights. We had very good experience staying there. 1. This hotel has their own tuk-tuk service on stand-by. Friendly drivers. They charged according to the rates set by the hotel, which are slightly cheaper than other tuk-tuks out there. With them, we did not need to worry about overpaying for a tuk-tuk ride. 1 dollar to town, 15 for a one-day-tour to Angkor Wat. Scam-free. Bargain-drama free. 2. The staffs were very hospitable and accommodating to our requests and concerns. They arranged free pick-up service for us from the bus station to the hotel even we arrived late (11.30pm). When I had to call back to Malaysia due to some unforseen circumstances, one of them even offered me his personal phone. Big thanks to him. 3. Comfortable ambient. This hotel is not too crowded as it has only 36 rooms. Almost all the rooms have pool view. 4. Lovely breakfast. Personally love the yellow noodle soup on the menu. 5. Very good location. Not far from town and old market. It is possible to walk to town and old market, but I recommend the hotel tuk-tuk. 1 dollar. Overall, staying here in this hotel made our stay in Seam Reap very enjoyable and worry-free. We will definitely stay here again without hesitation. We highly recommend this very good hotel.
A haven of tranquility”
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Niche D'Angkor, a client centric hotel. When the customers' needs come first and there is attention to detail it sets a hotel above others. I will return to Sien Reap and La Niche D'Angkor as we have had a relaxing and enjoyable stay; there are many more things to discover in Sien Reap. This area has kept its Khmer identity and the people are lovely. The hotel is an easy short trip away from Angkor Wat and the surrounding area. Whether you choose a sunrise, midday or later (closes 5:30) visit, by tuk tuk or taxi, the memory of Angkor Wat is indelible. Our driver saw to all our needs and advised us how best to use our time in the summer heat. It is a wonderous place and a photographers' delight; take your time to get good shots and don't be afraid to capture all you see, crazy tourists and all to create perspective. Grateful thanks to La Niche D'Angkor for a great stay.
Confortable, clean, friendly, beautiful”
Definitely a boutique hotel, but a lot for the money. I visit Siem Reap regularly, and will definitely stay here in the future. I actually visited about 10 hotels in Siem Reap for a future trip for friends, and visited "very nice" hotels (based on the price they charged), and I found La Niche to be the best of them all, even better than the big, very expensive hotels. The staff was incredibly friendly, and let me stay in my room until my late flight (without charging me for another day). The pool was beautiful and the garden was full of amazing orchids, fish ponds and beautiful greenery. The food was delicious, and staff were always willing to accommodate (I am a vegetarian). Rooms were impeccable, clean two showers (!). Close enough to walk to Pub Street in about 10 minutes, far enough away that it's very quiet and relaxing. I was very impressed, and will stay there in the future!
Lovely room and great Location”
we stayed at the la niche d'angkor boutique hotel 12th of feb for 3 night. it was one of the nicest places we stayed in during our 3 week holiday to cambodia and vietnam. altough the hotel is located roughly about 5/10 min walk and down a poorly lit road from the bars, dont let this deter you from staying at the la niche. on arrival we were greated with cold drinks and then taken to our room which was located around a lovely swimming pool. we had a triple room which although was a bit of a squeeze sometimes due to the amount of luggage 3 women need. the room would be perfect for 2 people amd very comfortable. the resturant also provide a great choice on the menu and we found ourselve having a late lunch there each day. the also do a great choice for breakfast. i would recommend the pineapple pancakes. all in all this is a great hotel at a great price. if i was to ever visit angkor wat again then i would stay here again.
Great little boutique Hotel”
We really enjoyed our stay at the La Niche D'Angkor Hotel. Staff was competent and friendly, and arranged everything we needed for our time in Siem Reap; airport pick up, tuk tuk to Angkor Wat, and bus tickets to PP. The room was clean and comfortable, and the restaurant served a good hot cooked breakfast. Pool and central garden was very nice... we felt like we were in a remote tropical paradise!
I really enjoyed my stay at La Niche mainly because the staff were great. They genuinely want the tourists to have a good time in Siem Reap, so they would make suggestions on where to go eat, what time to leave hotel to get to where you want to go (very important if you want to catch sunrise and sunset at various locations), remind you to change clothes if your attire doesn't meet the dress code requirement at the temples (I wouldn't have been able to go to Phnom Bakheng if they didn't remind me to change my shorts). So small things like this made my trip enjoyable and I didn't miss anything just because I was wearing something wrong or left the hotel too late, etc. The pool area is absolutely beautiful and excellent place to cool down and recharge after a full morning of temple run. I definitely recommend the traditional Khmer massage provided by the hotel. They serve delicious western and Khmer food at the restaurant. The waiters are also very friendly and attentive. The rooms are clean and have good air-conditioner and wifi signal. Ground floor rooms are great because easy access to the pool and is very well shaded by the trees. This is an excellent place to stay!! Highly recommended!!
Beautiful hotel with helpful staff ”
I stayed here for a week and absolutely loved it. I still don't want to leave. La Niche is a lovely place to stay, it's a little piece of paradise for a great price. The garden is lovely, the pool is fantastic, and the rooms are great. La Niche has the feel of an eco lodge. It's very cosy, minimalist but very nice decor. The staff speak good English and arranged an excelling countryside biking tour. They let us use the pool after our check out time when we were hanging around before our bus came. You can have a masseuse come to the hotel to give you a massage which is a bonus. If I return to Siem Reap, I'm staying here again.
3 day stay in la niche”
Stayed for 3 days and my friends planned a surprise birthday for me. They contacted the hotel a day before and helped them with arrangengement. Staff was very helpful and very accomodating. This was one of the best hotels i have stayed outside the country. Going outside the area we didnt have much problem since its a 10 minute walk from the night life of siem reap. The hotel have their own services you can choose from may it be a van/car or tuk tuk. Going to angkor wat we had a full day service of tuk tuk. This hotel made our trip to cambodia very memorable. And the receptionist staffs are the most helpful persons in this hotel. They speak very good english and never had a problem the whole time of our stay. All of our request has been granted right away. Thank you la niche for making our stay a memorable one! Oh one more thing the child of the owner -the little girl, was the cutest! :)
Love La Niche”
Second time I have stayed here in twelve months. Stayed for 4 nights then went to coast for 3 nights and back to Siem Reap for 3 nights, where I stayed at Ladear, just up the same road. Ladear rooms were better but everything else at La Niche is so much better. Staff at both are fantastic. I will only stay at La Niche from now on. Even while staying elsewhere, the staff still let us into the office to use our laptop and their equipment. Cocktails are fantastic. Easy walk to the river and Pub Street area. Even after a year, the staff in the restaurant, remembered me and my name. Great pool and good food.
A Little Gem”
la niche d'angkor boutique hotel is tucked away from the busy hub of "pub street", yet only a 10-15 minute stroll away, so it is quiet. we found the staff very welcoming and friendly and the rooms spacious and comfortable. a good buffet breakfast was included and on the day we went to angkor wat at sunrise a take away breakfast was provided. furthermore, there's a beautiful pool in an idyllic tropical setting. they organised tuk tuk tours to angkor wat and surrounds, and tonle sap for us and our driver was excellent - nothing was too much trouble for him.
Wonderful boutique hotel!!!!!”
La Niche is a wonderful boutique hotel. When we arrive we got un room upgrade to a family room wich was wonderful! The room is enormous, very clean, beautiful, and we also got a bathtub, wich our son had a lot of fun! All rooms have balconies, and as far as we could see all of them are big. The swiming pool is great, big enough for those who want to swim, and with lots of places to seat and relax. Breakfast with lots of food, besides a buffet, there are some ala carte choices you can have! We also use the hotel service for guides and tuk tuk drives to the temples and all of this work pretty fine - except we dind´t compare hotel prices from the prices from the street. The staff is really helpful and nice! We totally would come back to this hotel next time in Seam Reap.
We'd stay there any time again”
Truly stunning hotel, a real boutique hotel with great value for money. rooms are quite spacious and very clean. Breakfast is a mix between buffet and a la carte menue with various options incl. asian breakfast. Free airport pickup was highly appreciated. Hotel is a 5 to 10 min walk from Pub St. and therefore a good and quiet location. We'll for sure return when back in Siem Reap We can also recommend one of their drivers: Rin Sochan was very nice and speaks good english.
Lovely personal hotel with friendly staff”
We stayed at La NIche for 5 nights while visiting Siem Reap with our 2 year old. The staff were great and helped to organise tuk tuks to Angkor Wat. The hotel is outside the busy area but is a quick tuk tuk away or you can walk to the old market in about 8-10 mins. Everything is within close proximity. Large room and bathroom that even had a bath tub. Food at the restaurant is good and fairly reasonable by local standards. The staff, pool and landscaping are really what makes this place. I would highly recommend it.
The best hotel in Cambodia”
La Niche is the best place I've stayed at in Cambodia. It's a rather small hotel just a couple of blocks from Pub Street and central Siem Reap. About 1-2 dollars for a tuktuk. Ther staff is great, pool fantastic, rooms awesome.. It is just amazing. I've stayed there twice now, 2 nights at a time. I love it.
La Niche D’angkor Boutique Hotel. The receptionist was very professional on my arrival and provided information booklets, a map and details about the location, the local attractions such as the Night Market and Pub Street and tours to the Angkor Heritage Park. As there was no pressure to buy, I booked day tour with the hotel and this was excellent value for money. The hotel room was very clean and well furnished with a large bath tub. The only issue was that there was no hot water so had to have a cold shower. The breakfast was quite limited and not much choice but sufficient and the staff were attentive and polite. The pool was excellent after a long day in visiting the temples and the staff showed me a shower room I could use before I headed to the airport for a late night flight as I had already checked out of my room. I would highly recommend this hotel for those seeking a mid-range accommodation choice. The nice garden and pool area, clean and well equipped rooms and the convenient close walking distance to the Night Market make this a good, value for money hotel in Siem Reap.
Lovely boutique hotel, great staff”
we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at la niche d'angkor. our large room and adjoining bathroom were immaculate and the bed very comfortable. my only (small) complaint is that they are still building so there was a little noise from the builders in the mornings and there was a bit of cement dust in our room, but the building will soon be completed and those issues won't exist. the standard of meals was average, but for such a new hotel, no doubt these issues will settle in time and those points were minor compared to the other positive points like the divine pool in the centre of the hotel which we used every day. it's a wonderful hotel and we would definitely go back to stay and would recommend it to others. the staff couldn't have been more helpful and the hotel also organised a driver and a guide for us who were great.
Nice hotel with extremely helpful staff”
this hotel, which opened just a few months ago, is run and owned by a cambodian couple. the hotel is situated in a quiet unmade up road, like many in cambodia, a short distance from the town, which is within walking distance. we chose to use a tuk tuk at $1 each way. the room was good and the bathroom came with a separate shower and bath. water was always hot. breakfast was ordered each morning from a menu and cooked freshly. we found it best to ask for bread rather than toast -bread was a freshly baked baguette. we had a few hectic and enjoyable days here visiting the sites of angkor, roulos and tonle sap lake. tuk tuk drivers can be organised through the hotel and cost $15 a day for normal trips. it costs a little more if you go further afield. our tuk tuk driver stayed with us and ferried us around every day. the owner is extremely helpful and can provide you with a great deal of information on cambodia. we would return to this hotel if in siem reap again.
Lovely hotel, nice pool, amazing service”
This hotel was by far the best we had during our 3-week trip in Cambodia. We originally booked 2 nights at the Niche d'Angkor and we were so satisfied that we decided to stay 1 additional night. The staff was really nice and helpful, always smiling and trying to help. The hotel was offering a tuk-tuk service (relatively cheap), which was very convenient to go around. The room was large and amazingly clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom had a separate bath and shower (quite rare!). The pool was beautiful, large, with refreshing water, a real treat after a day at the temples. Breakfast was excellent, with a buffet and a "à la carte menu". The only aspect that might be negative for some people is the location (maybe 15 min of walk or 5 min of tuk-tuk to the Night Market and Pub Street). For us it was perfect as it was close enough to the action but quiet enough when it was time to sleep. This hotel was really a gem, do you self a favor and book!
Pleasant small hotel, friendly staff, great rooms”
We have certainly enjoyed our stay at La Niche D'angkor. The hotel is nice and small, the room was very pleasant. It's in a quiet residential area but within walking distance to the city center and all the markets. The staff are very friendly. You can rent a bike and go out for a day or use a tuk tuk (they are always waiting outside the hotel).
Slice of heaven in Siam Reap, Cambodia!”
La Niche D'angkor was a real gem and rivals 5 diamond resorts at a much lower price point. The staff was friendly and attentive. The accommodations were lovely and included A/c, wifi, hot water, and mini frig. The bonus was that a varied breakfast is included everyday. All things you don't take for granted after spending weeks traveling in Asia. This was one of the best values on our travel through Thailand, Laos and Cambodia.
