    Cleaness concern”
Everything is okay but cleaness of bedsheet. It seems like white sheet has not changed from previous guest ; brown dirts and dust. Asked staff they claimed they are unwashable dirt then offer new room. Yeah it's unwashable and unacceptable should not use it again. New room they offered comes with long black hair which the staff said they are cleaning lady'hair. Finally no more room left we have to be in the dirt sheets room.

What you pay is what you get”
small room with comfortable bed, tv with international programs, refrigerator ok, ac ok, furniture run-down, breakfast delivered to room with no choice: fried rice with pork and fried egg-take it or leave it. no coffee/tea not even in the lobby. fortunately there are some eateries around, staff quite desinterested

Aging hotel, rooms are run down. But the fridge and aircon work and they bring a greasy plate of fried rice and a fried egg to your room in the morning :)

    Good, basic room”
Location great for us as we needed to go to Indian embassy which is round the corner. Bit far from town center- we walked which took around 30 mins. Quite a lot of local places to eat, shops and mini marts close by. Very friendly and helpful staff but they don't speak much English. We liked the Lau style breakfast (chicken, egg, rice) which is bought to your room when you want in the morning.

    Gets it done”
Decent place near to where we needed, but outside the city center. A/C blew on our face the whole night so we didn't get a great night's sleep, but good enough for no hassle driving.

La On Dao Hotel 2 Value for money”
Handy location twenty five minute walk to Thai consulate. An older hotel which is getting a bit shabby but staff helpful and a rare sight in SE Asia was maids doing room service and actually doing some cleaning. Lighting in the rooms is shocking as is the norm for cheaper hotels around the world so do not expect to do much work without eye strain, turn the TV on and sound off to get extra light. (Penny pinching on cheap lower power bulbs does not save money and many travellers need to work not lie and watch TV all night). The night air is filled with howling and fighting dogs so sleep is not easy. Wifi in rooms worked, water pressure sometimes low but I guess dogs and water pressure may be beyond the control of the hotel. Overall value for money and nice staff.

    Value for short trip”
This hotel is so far to walk to any sightsee except if you get a tuktuk. Inside the room is what you expected from the picture. But I want to complain a big much about wifi because they said they provide free wifi in the room but I ain't got any, only in the Robby or outside the room. The breakfast is regular food, it's not what we expected, it's some kind of Thai food. Bed and pillow is hard. warm water works well. It's not bad for short trip, very cheap and you got almost everything. :)

    Tragical..”
Staff didn't speak a word English. Tried to ask what time the breakfast was served but only got an answer in Lao. 8 am in the morning they came knocking on my door with fried rice and a fried egg... 3 out of 4 lights were broken in my room when I checked in, the staff opened the curtain like that should've been enough. Wifi not working. Everything was old and filthy in the room. Not recommended at all..

    worth lower than 1 star”
Is it rated 3 star hotel? No way. It is 4km away from city center. The nite i arrived at the hotel, there were 3 men at the reception. No body spoke english. Only next morning appeard a lady who spoke english. There were plenty of mosquitoes all nite i couldn't sleep. Water kept flowing in the toilet. Not worth the worst guest house. Should be closed.

    discotheque in the lobby”
HBO on TV, TV remote, Television program
well I checked out this morning, as tonight there was a kind of dicotheque going on in the hallway just outside my door at 2 o'clock am, with yelling and shouting going on for half an hour. Just outside the hotel entrance there was also a party, lasting until 5 am, with a group of drunk men, laughing and shouting. In the morning you could see all the empty beer bottles, and some maid trying to make the traces of it all disappear. sorry to say, but you cannot run a 3 star hotel with a bunch of boys at the reception desk, hardly to be considered adults

dirty noisy hostel with three wanna-be-stars ”
HBO on TV, TV device, TV remote
The person at the reception switches wireless on and off; if you confront him, he says he needs this for his online gaming, and then he is mocking you the place is extremely noisy all night.

    Sooner forgotten the better”
Way too far out of city. The whole place is like a cell block and the rooms feel like cells with en suite facilities. Breakfast was brought to your room with no choice other than take it or leave it. As it was fried Rice with an egg on top and a cup of ridiculously sweet coffee, I left it. Personally, I would not even consider this place even as a BackPacker.
