Although the hotel is under construction, they notified us in advanced (before the free cancellation ends) and being patient of taking care of our concerns. However, the matresses were the japanese one which were a bit hard and hurting my parents' backs. We booked a room for a party of 3, so people who are thinking about booking this type of room may consider your situation.

Located in city centre. There are quite a lot of tourist attractions around the hotel. Also, train station is only 15mins walk from the hotel! The attitude of the staff is nice. The room is spacious with a balcony and I can’t believe I can get such a spacious room with this price! But one thing can be improved is that maintenance work is undergoing in the hotel. There may have some noises during the daytime.

Great location”
The place was great. Location was prime, you are about 10-15 min walking distance to many things or take a bike ride which is free. It was rainy during my trip and they offered free umbrellas. Bfast was good, not great but definitely not bad. Customer service was amazing. The only downfalls were the beds were hard. I'm a side sleeper and my hip was sore after three days and during my visit there was constriction going on 20 feet from my room across the street. A little noisy but all in all it was a great trip. Just wish the beds were a little softer but for the price and location I would stay again

Value for Money + Excellent Location for Local Eats”
My group stayed 2 nights and we wish we would have stayed longer. In the morning, at the back alleys, you will find a local market where you will discover the gem of Tainan local eats. Ranging from meat to fruits. Everything looks so yummi. We bought all the goodies and they were a treat. Just 10 seconds walk from the hotel, you will find your 24 hours convenience store. You can get all the food and drinks you want. Around the hotel, there are also a lot of food stores for you to choose. Getting around is very easy as you can ask the hotel staff to call for taxi. The room is clean. The bed is hard which is good for people like me with a back aching issue after long walks around the city. The coffee machine at the lobby is as good as starbucks. Hence, you do not have to spend money on coffee. :) Small hotel but it's one of the best I been around this region.

Ideal location as it is close to all of the main temples/attractions. The hotel is nice but a little expensive for what you get. The staff were helpful but did not explain the facilities available such as the bikes.

Very good location”
Love this hotel and close to most sightseeing spots and famous eateries. Also, very popular bakery is just close by and it’s pretty good! Walkable from the Tainan station. Hotel is old and facilities are not updated much. AC doesn’t work properly. However hotel stuff are very professional and some of them speak decent Japanese.

The bed was too hard to sleep on”
I think we chose the cheapest room. The TV was the old boxy kind and different from the other rooms (HD LCD/LED TV) that we peeped in when heading to the lift. However, they provided breakfast and the food taste good. Value for money but I won't stay again unless they change the mattress!

Hotel is about q5 minutes on foot from tarin station, on bus route. Rooms were clean and staff friendly. Nice little details like freshly made coffee and treats in the lobby. Free bike and umbrella available. The highlight was the breakfast buffet that changed every day. Very extensive Asian and North American dishes. Would stay there again.

Pretty big room”
Though it's only about 1km from the train station, but if you have alot of baggage and older folks, I suggest a taxi would be a better choice. The room is quite big for a 4 person suites, pretty good experience.
