Nice clean Hotel but pool closed”
We specifically booked this hotel for the pool and spa which upon arrival it was closed due to them waiting on a part to fix the motor. However the room was awesome. The staff was wonderful and friendly.

Ok for the money - not actually breakfast ”
The place is ok for the money. The rooms are a little run down (our heater didn’t work). The biggest issue I had is that they say they had free breakfast when it was four types of cereal, toast and yogurt. Just quite underwhelming

Mediocre at best”
Possibly the worst la Quinta that I’ve stayed in. The room, although spacious, was very dusty and not maintained throughout the years. The hot tub facility was an anomaly that it hasn’t been shut down yet — dirty and hey seems brown so water is just pushed up vertically onto the edge of the tub, grout and tile in bad condition around tub, and barely hot. Continental breakfast consisted of bagels and a broken cereal dispenser. In addition, they wanted $45 to check in an hour early. Checkout process was seamless however. Lastly side door had no lock so anyone could enter the building at any time and access any floor. Incredibly expensive given these conditions. The only positive was that the staff was pleasant and very nice.

Ridiculous ”
This place is not worth 300 dollars a night. There was no soap in the room when I got there, and after trying to call the front desk repeatedly only for the line to ring and ring, indicating there was likely no one at the desk, I went downstairs and found a man sitting behind the desk with no mask on (even though summit county has some of the highest reported Covid caseloads currently), and when I asked if I could have some soap for the room, he gave me one bar. I asked if I could have another one (one for the sink, one for the shower, a bare minimum for a hotel at that price), and he told me there was no more soap!! At all!! In the entire hotel. I understand there are shortages, but then pro-rate your rates accordingly to reflect all of this, because not giving guests soap is pretty ridiculous.

There were stains on the bedding. Chair in the room had stains. My husband thought he seen a bedbug on the bathroom wall. He went to take grab phone for a picture and it was no where to be found...

Very run down and poorly taken care of.”
Sheets were stained. Holes in linens. Stains on curtains and walls. The place was gross. When checking in I heard someone complaining about these very things but I tried to stay optimistic. It was hard to not see how filthy it was. Everywhere you turned in the room you could spot it out.

Not as updated facility as expected for price. No hot water in shower. On site restaurant closed. Breakfast grab and go was pitiful. Had to leave a day early due to daughter hospitalization with serious head injury. No offer for any partial refund. Worst La Quinta experience.

The front desk employee /owner of hotel hit on me and my girlfriend multiple times making inappropriate comments about our bathing suits after being in the pool. Very uncomfortable. Didn’t feel good even leaving the room until checkout the next day. Creep.

The wifi did not work in room, only in the lobby/common areas. Upon notifying the front desk of the issue, there was indifference and the response " There is nothing that I can do about it." Stayed three nights and housekeeping did not clean room once.

The worst! Very dirty. Plumbing was in poor shape..ceilings leaking with plaster falling and peeling in rooms. Pool was shut down in bad need of major repair. Furniture was tattered and torn. Outdoor patio was not welcoming. Chairs and tables were stacked and strewn all over. Landscsping was very poor. Elevators were very small and unstable. Had moldy oders.

Staff was not very friendly or helpful. Website still says breakfast available. Untrue Also right next to the highway. There are a few better options in Silverthorne. I won’t be going back.

Horrible staff! Do not stay here”
We originally booked 7 rooms for 2 nights. We arrived at 2am, to check in with receptionist Isaac at LaQuinta Inn and Suites by Wyndham Silverthrone-Summit Co. We indicated that we only want to stay one night. After looking into our intenary, Isaac said we would only need to check out tomorrow before 3pm to cancel our 2nd night. Come the morning of check out, we spoke to the receptionist Michelle who indicated that she was not able to cancel our second night since we booked through a third party. We told Michelle that her coworker, Isacc informed us we CAN cancel the 2nd night. We called Agoda (third party) and all they needed was LaQuinta’s manager approval to cancel the 2 night. Michelle refused service to us. She even told another client who came up by the desk wanting to book an extra night to “go eat breakfast and come back and there will be more open rooms.” Michelle pointed her finger, yelled, screamed, and threatened us to step away from the counter when we asked to speak to her supervisor. She refused to provide a name, but only an e-mail. (Which could take up to 24 hours to respond). I’ve never felt so scarred and threatened in my life. We had to call LaQuinta corporate due to her refusal of service. After 40mins talking to Agoda and LaQuinta corporate, Michelle yelled out from behind the desk, saying she would refund us for the 2nd night. Michelle took over my phone as I was still on line with Agoda. When she handed my phone back, she dropped my phone and cracked it. Worst customer service!!!!

Wasn’t clean in room the bathroom floor was dirty and the sheets has marker or something in them. The mattresses were comfortable but room needs some rooms didn’t seem to clean and staff not very welcoming
