La Rambla hotels & accommodations

We decided to stay at Hotel 1898 as it is located on the most emblematic street in Barcelona - La Rambla close to the Plaza Catalunya (6 mins walk) where the City Tour Bus/Bus Turistic and Aerobús have their starting point stops; 1 min walk to Mercado de La Boqueria; 10 mins walk to the charming Gothic Quarter, or Barri Gòtic. Charming hotel, clean, wonderful personnel...

location location location!! absolutely perfect! it is an amazing 4 star hotel that should be considerred 5 stars, best location in barcelona, practicaly 2 seconds from la ramblas street (which i fell in love with) and across the street from the aerobus service (airport bus)so it really has a great location, the receptionist was soooooooo nice to us! hr name was suzana ...

Don't be fooled by its antiquated exterior. Housed in a building which was built in 1917 (I think), the hotel is a gem. I was concerned when I saw its old exterior and blue, tacky banner. I was so wrong. How pleasantly surprised i was to step into a contemporary lobby. Our room was very spacious. Even though our room was on the first floor and looked out to a busy...

The Hotel was located a mintue from Catalunya Placa and 2 minutes away from La Rambla .. the hotel was very clean, the room was decent in size for European hotels and the staff were very helpful especially a guy called Marc at the reception and another blonde haired guy i dont remember his name were very helpful, kind and very informative. The staff at the reception sp...

Stayed 4 nights in a Deluxe room with a balcony overlooking the little street just off La Rambla & were extremely pleased with our choice. The hotel has made a real effort to retain some of the original features, but the rooms are modern & a good size, and the beds were about the most comfortable I've ever slept in. Despite being close to La Rambla there wasn't too m...

Very close to Las Ramblas and close, quaint hotel with a great balcony with a table and chairs. Standard room with 3 twin beds, a closet and bathroom. The taxi did take us to the hotel, but it is a walking small street, so we just got lucky, so be prepared to roll your luggage (but it's not far) from Las Ramblas. You are steps away from the main strip (Las Ramblas) ...

Hostal Operaramblas was pretty ideal. It is in a great location down a small street off La Rambla. The price was excellent for a large room with a queen bed, single bed, and a balcony. The checkout time was 11am but the front desk provided us with a locked storage space to keep our luggage while we spent the remainder of the day in Barcelona. The only downfalls: the st...

We stayed here for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is at the end of La Rambla at a quiet enclave, facing a small park and adjacent to the sea. Our room faces a small park and I can see the sea from the balcony. The reception team are helpful to us in booking our cab and giving us directions. They also supplied me a kettle although they took a 15...

I can't vreccommend the H10 Metropolitan highly enough! We had the most fantastic time. Every member of staff was welcoming, friendly, extremely helpful and efficient. They helped us to celebrate my son's 21 birthday, providing us with Bucks Fizz at breakfast and complimentary fizz and chocolates in our room. The hotel itself is lovely with 2 restful pool areas complet...

Great hotel right in the centre, only about 100 metres off Las Ramblas and close to a metro station. The room was clean, unfortunately twin beds rather than the double that was booked though. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The only real fault I could find is that the pool on the roof is tiny. Great hotel for the price that we paid. The area is a lot safer than...

The location was really good, walking distance to plaza Catalunya, LA rambla, Barcelona cathedral etc, metro station just in front of the hostel. Room was clean, spacious, free wifi and breakfast (various menu including fruits) Staff was friendly and helpful.

Stayed at this hotel for a week in Barcelona. It is situated extremely close to the Liceu metro station on La Ramblas, close the La Boqueria market and has lots of restaurants, bars and shops nearby. The room was modern, clean and quiet, with everything I needed for my stay. There was also a terrace outside (I was on the top floor). Staff were polite and helpful. I wo...

Fantastic location at the top of LA rambla. Hotel rooms are very quiet and clean. We love the fact that there was a kitchenette in the room. Not that we used it much. But the refrigerator came in. there is intermittent construction in the daytime. But it seems to stop by 6. Wasn't too big a deal as we were out site seeing. That would be the only complaint. If you wa...

I had a really good experience in Hesperia Ramblas. A small hotell between La Rambla and the area "Raval", close to La Boqueria. Concidering the location, the rooms were very, very quiet. Not the most fantastic view from our windows, but picturesque and what we the second day realized was one of the entrances to the Boqueria-restaurants. Wonderful staff, clean and mo...

The hotel is located a few minutes' walk from Plaza Catalunya and is very convenient for the airport bus which stops just in front of El Corte Ingles on the square. La Rambla and the old town are practically on the doorstep and the hotel is in the centre of the main shopping area. Even the Apple shop is just a few minutes' walk away - a great help when we had a small p...

Best place for you to fully enjoy the vibrance of La Rambla - they have got a classy balcony for the rooms facing La Rambla. The best thing about this hotel is certainly the 24-hour self-service food bar. They've got soft drinks, beer, frozen yogurt, butterfly puffs, fruits, to name but a few. They even serve unlimited parma ham for breakfast! Another great thing about...

we stayed just one night before our flight back to Asia and the hotel was excellent. we arrived early for a tour.. hotel took our bags..checked us in while we ran off looking around Barcelona and when we returned...everything was in place.. the hotel front desk is super awesome helped my wife with high water for her special health tea.. and we're always willing to help...

We love to travel. And one of our best way to know the place is by walking and jogging around the area. Its one place where everything is accessible- EL corte Ingles, La Rambla , La sagrada familia etc. We checked in around 10 in the evening of oct 26, and the guy whom we talked to is very accomodating. Room is very clean and the food for breakfast is great and healthy...

The hostel is located off the famous La Rambla street. We took an aerobus from the airport to get off at Plaza Catalunya and walk along La Rambla street to find the hotel right on the street. The decor is quite nice while the room is very tiny, but there is a small balcony where we can enjoy watching people walking along La Rambla street. The downfall is it's very nois...

Value for Money , In the Heart of Las Ramblas street , Neat and clean place and awesome staff specially Mr Syed shaheed on the lobby the way he assisted me about places and how to get public transport at midnight time for airport I am very thankful to him and i want to recommend every body to stay in this property.

Took my mum 86, mother in law 84, sister in law 63. Upgraded to deluxe room. The room was spotless, lovely little balcony which was great for people watching. Room had tea, coffee, free soft drinks in fridge, safe & toiletries. We overlooked La Rambla on the 2nd floor. When we closed the French doors we could hear slight traffic noise but nothing to keep us awake. We c...

Very central just off las Ramblas, secure, clean, not noisy even though it’s among the hustle and bustle of the city, nice design in the apartment, well equipped, nice staff and were even gifted a holiday treat from the company!. Only cons for me personally would be a very small bathroom (not much more than a meter wide), if you have a car it’s outrageously expensive t...

Stayed for just 1 night in this property after completing my cruise. It's location is great, right on La Rambla street. But the best part of it is the staff. Sorry, I forgot his name. But he is such a helpful guy. He came down to help me in taking my luggage to my room which was in 2nd floor. Though I reached a bit early [9am], he immediately got the room cleaned so th...
Cheap places to stay in La Rambla

The location was really good, walking distance to plaza Catalunya, LA rambla, Barcelona cathedral etc, metro station just in front of the hostel. Room was clean, spacious, free wifi and breakfast (various menu including fruits) Staff was friendly and helpful.

The hotel was easy to find, map in hand, from the dropoff of the Airport bus. For the sights that are not in walking distance, the Metro is two blocks away. Everything else is right there, La Rambla, restaurants, and many sights. The staff was friendly, spoke English, and had good maps at the ready to help you get around. The room was typically Euro small, but clean a...

This hostal is located in the heart of la rambla, in front of one of the best markets in Barcelona. so location wise is very convenient. the room was clean and the staff were friendly The main issue is that the hostal is located in the 3rd floor of the building and even when there is a small elevator is actually quite very small (tiny!). if you're carrying a big lugga...

Staff are one of the most kind and fun people I’ve seen! very nice too. These people seem to be really concerned about you and your stay. But the hostel feels very tiny. Corridors are narrow, rooms are small, except for the beds everything else barely fits. The interiors are worn out. The air in my room was damp, the tourist towel wouldn’t dry in a day (normally dries ...

We had a room with a view of La Rambla. The balcony was nice for people-watching. Staff was very helpful in every way. Since La Rambla is a very touristy area where theives thrive, we were particularly surprised to have come back to our room and found the door was not properly closed, presumably by the cleaning staff. Nothing was lost or taken. This one incident could ...

The stay experience is good. The location is superb. Being at Plaza Real at La Rambla, key tourist attractions, shopping, dining, entertainments and transportation are all right around the corner. Disadvantage, however, the neighborhood is a noisy and rundown (wall & doors are full of grafitti). Policemen are always present, but still be careful with pick pockets. The ...

I was greeted by a friendly staff, Chris! Gave me alot of information about the city, showed me the city through the map. Very friendly guy, it was fun chatting with him. The appartment was clean. it has common kitchen, toilet and living room. I had the best view among the other room, I guess. The best thing about this appartment is the location as it is near Placa Cat...

Upon arrival by taxi from the airport, we received a pleasant welcome to the sights and sounds of the beautiful city of Barcelona. Later, we found another exciting place to walk about (Las...

The best feature of the hotel was it’s central location - less than a minute’s walk from the La Rambla strip, everything was in arms reach which meant we didn’t get lost. great location near la rambla...about 5 minute walk from leceu or catalunya metro stops...the price is great for a room in western europe in one of the greatest cities in europe...absolute bargain...no breakfast but that wasn't a big problem...rooms were spacious and clean...and had a balcony looking out into the street...no dining options in hotel but plenty of places...

It's was not my choice someone else had booked it. But it was very central just fifty metres from La Rambla and next to the metro. The staff where excellent, polite and accommodating. I didn't eat hear so I can't comment on the food. I'm not bothered about a flash hotel, I was there to see the sights and this hotel it served my purpose very well. I would use it again.

30mins from airport, by taxi cost about 30€. i suggest taxi rather than metro because my friend got picked pocket in metro from airport to hotel by metro. Small hotel, however room is very clean... only 3 floors.. room either facing las ramblas street or the food market. i got a room facing the street with balcony, 3rd floor.. it's awesome!!! room is clean, and bigge...

The most perfect location in Barcelona! Right on Las Ramblas. We had a small balcony over looming las ramblas so we could sit and watch the world go by! So lovely! Bed was absolutely massive and bedroom ...

Good location. 1 min walk to La Rambla. The 1-bdrm unit was big enough for our family of 4. Our flight arrived at 8am and we reached the Apartment at 930am but check-in time was 3pm. Not a bad hotel to be honest. Booked a large room with balcony but kind of wasted it cos it was too cold to be outside. Location was good but not great. Convenient if you’re going to La Ramblas vicinity. Food wise you gotta walk a few streets over for some good outlets but it’s not far. Got a couple of homeless corners around this hotel but it’s not bothersome.
Luxury hotels in La Rambla

We arrived for our last night in Spain and were greeted at reception as if we were family. Very attentive service. Our room (a deluxe double) was well appointed, clean and tastefully decorated with local artn and had a view of the Placa. Treated to a welcome glass of wine on the patio right on the Placa Reial. Great location. The bed (and bedding) was the best on o...
