Lovely hosts, very accommodating”
The host stated they had plumbing problems when we booked late one evening for the night (we needed to leave our original accommodation due to issues). But she brought us to a beautiful place run by her friend. She was friendly and hospitable and her friends place was lovely with the best touches. We are so grateful to have crossed paths with her.

They have very good location. Beach is just ouside of the hotel exit. Very nice view. Owner is kind and helpful. Room and bathroom are big. You can cook even if you fed up from Restaurants. We were cooking our breakfast only. 3-4 markets are very close. You can even buy fruits and vegetables from close shop. It worth to money.

Wonderful stay”
The villa has this stunning view as it's sitting right there at the beach front. Palm trees, ocean view and mountains. There's often seaweed but it's also nice and swimmable during high tide. The internet needs improving, sometimes it's almost non-existent. The hostess was really kind and a pleasure to talk to, thanks again, Ate! The room has a working kitchen and even some pottery and cutlery to get you started. Gave a minus point to the location even tho it has a beautiful view because it's a little bit inaccessible. Any bike will agree to take you there for about 100PHP from the center but most tricycles won't bother. Still one guy took us with our luggage in a tricycle. If the internet was better, I could see myself working there for a month. Recommend this place.

For affordable accommodation on the beach, this was a great place. It's not fancy in any regard, yet it's in a great location. The room was clean, the hosts were gracious and helpful. The only issue we had was very low water pressure at the time of our visit. This may have been temporary, hard to tell in Palowan.

In house staff is very accommodating to any request. 101%!!! Thank you Ate Mary Anne! It's quite a challenge to reach the place. You need to rent a tricycle if you have a lot of stuff or rent a motorbike. Nonetheless, it's not a problem 'coz they can help arrange these stuff for you. Place is very peaceful and quiet. No tourist boats along the shoreline. Great sunset view! Also near Lihim Resort where you can dine as walk-in.

Quiet location ”
Basic accommodation away from the town if El Nido. Very quiet and Marian is very nice and friendly... the beach in front is not really nice but if you walk to the right there is a lovely beach at the end of the bay by the Garden Bay bungalows. There is no generator so if the power is out, which can be often, there is really no power or fans or internet. You need to realize that in this part of Caalan, you need to walk about 15 minutes to get to town but it’s all flat . It’s el nido! You get the best view in town and lovely sunsets..

Near beach and cozy place”
I was a bit confused as we arrived at place in the evening. The receptionist had to arrange a tricycle to pick us up from terminal coz not all tricycle are willing to drive at the small street directing to Salangane.. But anyway everything is ok coz the receptionist are helpful to arrange your transport and your travel tours. And the small street going to tricycle is really easy and safe to walk. I would still recommend this cozy place near the beach.

Agoda should update hotel/villa”
Unsatisfied. It’s not what we expected from what it was described in your site. No internet connection, no transportation, we spent money for transpo no help from staff. No food offered. Very far and very hard to go back and forth. Very bad experience. Please please update your hotel/ villas description and pictures..we did not get help from the staff for our food, laundry and transportation. Internet was specified but there is none i badly needed it coz i have to work..👎👎👎👎👎

Hello Angelita, we apologize for this inconvenience during your stay. in the hotel,we don't offer meal since their is a kitchenette in every rooms for guests to cook their own meal, that's why we don't include breakfast in our package. Mary Ann was there our in-house manager the whole time for she live in the same building. She was talking to you the whole time. Our place is approximately 1.2km from town center which is shown in the booking platform. For the internet connection,it is spotty some times.

Lovely quiet apartments just outside of El Nido town ”
We had a few hiccups when we first arrived due to typhoon rain which left us unable to reach the apartment (the dirt road to get to it was flooded), but luckily La Salangane were able to put us in a room in their other hotel and then took us to the apartment the following day. The apartments are a 20 minute walk to El Nido town or they provide a trike to take you to and from - be warned though, the journey is a bit hairy!! The view from the apartments is lovely and Marianne was really helpful and helped us book a trip, motorbike and trike to the airport.

Most of the hotels in El Nido are pretty small especially for the price as people aren't really there for a nice hotel room but to explore the beauty of the island. The location is a bit of a walk from the heart of the town but we didn't mind it. At most it was 20 minutes it was a good walk, safe even at night. Renting a scooter is a cheap option for you as well, we really enjoyed exploring the island with it. The room was exceptionally clean and daily serviced by non other than the amazing Miriam. She can help you with everything, from booking trips, renting scooters or any relevant questions that comes to mind. She is also very kind and hospitable. The room was spacious, it had a little kitchen and wooden floors. The bed sheets were daily changed, trash emptied and restroom cleaned... by Miriam. Outside there's a table for you to utilize whether you want to drink there or have dinner. My favorite was the hammock facing the beach! Also Makulay is a dope breakfast spot! :)

The place I would stay if i ever go back !”
La Salangane hotel is a very quiet and peaceful place. We were scared at first not to be in the heart of the city center but the hotel is located 10-15 minutes away walking (5 minutes tuktuk). Beach shore right in front of the hotel, the rooms are spacious, clean and the AC was working well. Mary-Ann (the host) is very available, nice and provided very good service (booking island hopping tours, renting motorbikes, etc) Shame there were no more space when we wanted to stay longer ! I highly recommend this hotel !
