PROS : This gem of a classic hotel is strategically located near Lee Garden areas...where all the late nite action / food etc...the pics in agoda doesn't do it justice the rooms are exceptionaly clean so don't judge the hotel from the outside too...when I opened the room door I was greeted with lavender perfumed aroma thru out so relaxing after a nite out...the beds / pillows were comfy perfect I snored dead in sleep...they had a 48 inch Samsung oled screen with good mixed of English channels with online YouTube too!...the closets and furnitures were made of expensive teak wood..the toilets are elegantly designed to meet our tired needs and personal hygiene..shower pressure were just perfect..the toilet tiles were sliproofed very rare for a 3 star Hotel...and oh by the way at nite around the hotels outside they'll be lovely nite angels wishing u a happy endings for your nite!...highly praised highly recommended...give it a try! CONS : my above statement is all bull. 😂

i like everything about this hotel. from very friendly and helpful receptionist, very clean room, very cold air conditioning together with extra fan include, not to mention very strategic location which near all the centre point of hatyai. I just like laem thong hotel so much. I will definitely stay here again when I come to hatyai in the future. *I forgot to write that the price for 1 night also very affordable. I couldn't ask for more as I feels so happy during my vacation here in hatyai. hatyai people are very friendly and helpful.

This place Im really recommended especially for those who come Hat yai by Train. Bcs, u just can go to train station by walk. And this place super clean! They change the towel, throw rubbish & top up toilet tissues everyday. The staff also really helpful. You can go to Lee Garden Night Market & Kim Yong Market by walk. Dont worry. 7eleven & watson also around there. You can get there by walk. But a bit noisy in the morning and night around 11pm bcs its nearby to the road side. Thanks Laemthong Hotel! 😊

We get early check-in.. Yeay. Arrived in hatyai around 8.30am then we just want to ask if we can leave our luggage at the lobby first but staf inform we can check in earlier. Hotel near to lee garden and other attractions in the city. Walking distance to halal restaurants. The room is clean and spacious. It give "zaman P. Ramlee" vibe. They change towel and amenities everyday. Oh please ask wifi id and password at the counter because the id and password that they stick on the mirror inside the room wrong. Fast wifi.

Facilities a bit old but classic vibe like 70's. Very cheap price compare to other hotels. Location near with kelantan Muslim restaurant which open early 7am by walking just 3-5minutes. Ver near with hatyai train station 2-3minutes walking. Near with Lee garden Market 3-5minutes walking. Easy to find 7-Eleven shops by walking, I found 3 shops 7-e around that hotel. The most important hotel provided iron at level 4, elevator easy to carry luggage to high level floor. Receptionist very pretty and friendly, she offered me to put my bag at counter when I arrived at hotel 1 hour early before check in and ask me to walk around first. View of lobby very nice & clean to snap pictures. Many Muslim from Malaysia check in this hotel.

Laem Thong is a haven for lovers of nostalgia, a real classic Thai hotel where little has changed in a long time. It is carefully maintained by the devoted staff. I had a large fan room with cold water and huge louvre windows, all screened. Lying in bed at night with the louvres open, the ceiling fan whirring and rain pouring down outside was an absolute pleasure. I loved the Laem Thong!

My second stay here. The room was good, it has the 70's Hotel vibe. The location was 2 min walk from trains station, 5 min walk from the main market and mall, Price is really cheap, comparatively to other place.

Cleaner than some of the more modern hotels around town. Staff were friendly and very efficient. Great location - pratically 500m to most places we wanted to go in the town centre (downtown?) area and hub for public transportation. Dated looking furnitures but still in excellent condition - reminiscent of P.Ramlee movies :) However, they provide new TV & new AC units. Bed was board hard - so consider that, when you go get a Thai massage, don't get one that involves extra hard kneading of the muscles like we did. LOL.
