We have been coming to Big Bear for decades as we owned a cabin in Bear City and Boulder Bay. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Lagonita Lodge and wish we would have had more time to use the amenities. We had a wonderful lake view to watch the amazing sunset the one night we were there. The staff was friendly and helpful. The units were very clean and had a nice floorplan. The outside could use a good clean up, but it was understandable as there was an abundance of snow this year. The price was reasonable. We would highly recommend staying at Lagonita Lodge. Brian and Nancy and family

On the lake in a resort town nothing is cheap. EVER. This place was no different. but there was good value for the money spent. Heated indoor pool and spa (and outdoor spa too!) Both spotlessly clean and clear. Free outdoor gas BBQ's, Playground for the kiddos, nice boat docks. daily events (Texas Hold em, Bingo night, Movies etc...) The room was a bit dated and could use a tune up but it was nice. Great water pressure in the shower! Gas fireplace. Lake view. Nice! All-in-all, I would stay here again for sure.

we had a very nice unit with a lake view. it was well furnished, clean with a patio, cable tv. etc. the complex has an outdoor jacuzzi as well as an indoor pool and jacuzzi, which is nice during the cold winter months. parking is a little tight though, but all in all a good place for a short stay.

Two separate sleeping areas in the smallest rentals! Dated but nicely appointed and everything works. Staff are super friendly and helpful! The rec room has 2 pool tables, foosball, and ping-pong. There is a pool and a jacuzzi for families and an adult-only outdoor hot tub. This place really made our ski trip awesome!

The lodge is located right near the lake and our room had a partial view of the lake so that was a treat. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We had a better deal going through agoda instead directly through the hotel.

Great Value! Room 115 needs blinds replaced.”
The facility and location were both great, but the room we were assigned, not so much. Room 115 is the first room on the corner of the building near the parking lot. The room windows had vertical blinds which had been tweeked beyond repair leaving no privacy. Everyone walking by our patio slider, bedroom and especially our bathroom could look inside. I ended up covering our bathroom window with extra bedding.
