Good hostel”
Started off in a fan room on the top floor for 2 days which was very warm because it faced the sun and the fan was abit rubbish. 1 Shared barthroom between quite a few, cold shower and no toilet seat... Good little lounge area on the top floor. Reasonable wifi :) Moved to room 4 which had aircon and its own bathroom, was much more comfortable in here. Good location in small town of coron and our washing smelt lovely when we got back! Staff very helpful with booking trips and boats and even clean the room every day which hasnt happened much for us on budget travels in asia. Was a little visit from a little mouse but this was as guests had food in their room (there was a sign advising against this!) We would stay again, but would really love a toilet seat!

Comfort and value for money”
We enjoyed our stay in the hotel. The place is very comfortable. It has enough space for two and even can accommodate 3 pax. It is worth the price and value for money. They offer overflowing coffee. It is a fan room, no need for aircon since it is a bit rainy when we were there. It is a shared bathroom which they clean everyday. It has its own sink in the room where you can wash off salt water from your swim wear after the island tour. They also offer breakfast and tours as well as transpo to and from the airport. They have a store where you can buy stuff. It is a 5-10 minute walk to town (walk like 3x) or you can ride a tricycle. The location is like 50 meters from the national road that make it free from noise but we still consider it accessible. The owner is very helpful and friendly. Overall, we enjoyed our stay there, they are constructing a new building lodge beside it, hoping to stay there next visit 😄👍

Strongly recommended for backpackers... not so fancy just exactly what you need, get a good sleep to prepare you for the island adventure in the morning. Best value for your money!

Definitely a good pick”
Good location - just about a 5-minute walk from the town center where the shops, restaurants, bars, and cafes are Nice set-up - I absolutely loved their little hut out in front of the rooms on the lower floor! It's a nice place to just hangout, have some drinks after a long day out in the sun, play some music, and chitchat with other guests. They also have this common area on the second floor (with free hot and cold drinking water) and you can bring some takeout food and eat there, rent their karaoke, or just chill. Friendly staff - Everyone was nice and we had fun playing with the owners' kids one afternoon they were there.

Pretty standard hotel, just next to the centrum.fan rooms are very basic however staff was very very nice to us! We paid 600php and u wont get anything better for this price!

Not Worth The Price”
Don't understand the many good reviews. The room we were in was dated and no bin for rubbish or one in the bathroom to dispose of used tissue etc. Struggled to get a good sleep here due to various noises keeping us up (roosters, upstairs thumping and others).Atmosphere lacking but location is central. We were on a backpackers budget and we seen this places reviews and went with that and from our experience wanted to pass on our opinion to think twice before committing here as there are many other nice accommodations to choose from which are worth the extra few pennies.

Not comparable with similarly priced alternatives”
My room was fine and the staff were nice, but overall not great. One toilet/washroom for 4 rooms on my floor. No wastebasket in my room. No toilet seat and a broken tabo. It just felt very provincial when the price is the same for much better accommodations in Coron.

Location has advantages and disadvantages”
Enough as a backpacker lounge. Location seemed to be near the heart of town proper but it is not. Good effect of this is that store prices are not that expensive! There's a canteen infront which sells food for a dollar or less.

Noisy nights and bad equipments”
Aircon is so noisy then hard to sleep. And over that somes chickens scream all night long just beside the room so the night are not good for rest there. Wifi works half-time (maybe as everywere in Coron town...). Only cold water and light needs 3 minutes to warm and bright. Maybe you can not find better for same price in Coron town but I advice to spend more to enjoy the beautiful Coron island area.

Coron is lovely, Lagrossa is not”
The staff were particularly unhelpful in giving us information about tours or any info at all in that matter. They didn't seem to care that our door handle broke and we were locked in our room for hours. Coron itself is amazing though, just wouldn't recommend here.

Value for your money”
If you're looking for an affordable place, this is the place to go. We rented the biggest room which is good for 6. 4 kids are free (they're 8 and below). And they even have an extra day bed outside (fan). It is just a few minutes walk to the main street, restaurants ATMs and port. Very near Corto Divers too. We enjoyed it a lot.

Mura na. Mababait yung mga staff nila. Medyo mainit lng ung room namin. Since fan lng namn tlga sya but still okay pa rin. Minsan nawawalan ng tubig sa 3rd floor. Pero pag sinabi namn magkakaroon namn agad. Namamatay lng dw ang motor nila. Maganda kasi may sampayan sa 2nd floor nakakapaglaba kami.

Basic ”
Basic facilities. No hot water. There was a rat in our room. Staff handled it very well once i informed them. They moved all beds etc. Breakfast is basic. Great location, 5 mins walk to central town area. They organise your airport transfers etc too which is great. Staff friendly and helpful

Cheap and all in budgeted facilities”
Got a different room than what is advertised! At agoda it says nature view, with bathroom but got a room where no window at all and shared bath/wc. Fan room (I am not an aircon lover) but hotter and unhealthy environment, no exhaust fan, a suffocated smell & feeling, so cheap and budgeted indeed! The room is beside to the kitchen, staff are awake already at the kitchen before 6am, you hear them talking very comfortably, at night you hear all the noise until you fell asleep bec of tiredness atleast before 11pm plus the room is by the reception area you can imagine. I did not felt any comfort and rest. Indeed cheap and budgeted! The linen has an awful smell of dried wet cloth. I dont know how often the wc/bath is cleaned but I saw the same dirt on the humps and trash from first night until I left in my 2nd night. Smells urine, smell of toilet even at reception. Next time I would rather pay more pesos to feel the comfort and quiteness or atleast get a rest after a day sun trip!

Karaoke disaster”
Booked a fan room on the top floor, very bad idea. The hostel is located in a quiet area BUT there is a karaoke bar that belongs to the hostel. Even as a very uncomplicated person pretty hard to stand..
