Where to stay in LaGuardia Airport
LaGuardia Airport hotels & accommodations

Hotel was better than we expected. New, extremely clean, modern, comfortable and quite. Service was excellent check in very quick and easy. Hotel location is out of the way but only 10 mins to Laguardia Airport. Free breakfast is very poor lacking in quality and care.

We appreciated the discount from Priceline.com when we were stranded in New York after our airline cancelled our flight out of LaGuardia. Kind staff offered smoking or non-smoking rooms but without an airline shuttle (about $30 for taxi). Large, cleaned up room in an older hotel without updated decor was fine for our situation and budget -- but mold on several upper ...

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights during Sep 2017. Having booked this accommodation after arriving on JFK airport, I was pleasantly surprised :-) Room was large and clean and the free wifi worked excellently. The bed was super comfy!! I would definitely recommend this place to others.

The sales rep with Agoda was exceptional. I booked the wrong date online for my stay at the Best Western. The clerk at Best Western identified the problem and told me that I needed to call Agoda to correct the problem. The sales rep. with Agosa was eager, professional, helpful and friendly as he assisted me with the correction of the error. He spoke with the cler...

Needed a reasonably-priced hotel close to the airport, and this was the perfect fit. Very clean, staff was very friendly and accommodating. The person at the desk spoke English, Mandarin, and Cantonese fluently. The room was small but comfortable. Location very convenient to La Guardia airport by bus and easy to get to from metro line 7. There was free wifi and breakfa...

This facility has no bells or whistles but is very convenient to get to and from the airport with shuttle service. Staff is pleasant and helpful...not keen with parking in rear of facility as can't keep an eye on vehicle and they claim total non liability for theft or vandalism...Would stay for an overnight again in order to fly out the following morning from LaGuardia...

This nice hotel is quite well located. There is a big shopping center right across the street with Target, Marshall's and others. It is convenient for public transportation: the subway station is about 5-7 minute walk from the hotel and it won't take you longer than 25 min to find yourself in downtown Manhattan. For those who has to stay in NYC just for a night be...

It is not a luxury hotel, but it is great for Flushing. Cute boutique hotel. Close to LaGuardia airport, with free hotel shuttle. You can call the hotel to send the shuttle to LaGuardia. At the top of Main Street = close to bus stops and close to everything in Flushing. Plenty of Uber drivers nearby. Decent gym and laundry facilities. Authentic Italian restauran...

PROS. Free shuttle bus from Laguardia; comfortable bed and pillows; easy check-in; fast Wi-Fi CONS. Noisy aircon; didn't respond to 2 emails about the shuttle bus but sent it immediately once I landed and rang them. Didn't try the free breakfast as we left early.

The hotel staff was fantastic. Had a double booking for some reason; the manager and desk staff (Sebastian) were extremely helpful and accommodating in resolving the issue. They were able to check me in 2 hours early to a well appointed, clean and comfortable room. great stay.

We were there for a Mets game and this was an easy location to walk to. Nearby restaurants were easily available until late hours(Saturday night stay), the hotel staff was very friendly, room was good for my friend and I. Quiet room, easily accessible from elevator...I rated cleanliness satisfactory because the sink was a little dirty when we walked in and the carpeti...

The hotel is located in Chinatown in Flushing, not that near to Manhattan if that is where you want to spend time in NY. The place is filled with many Asians... so I was not home sick. although the stay was short and we arrived at almost midnight but because my wife and i had just arrived from a 16 hour flight, we were up and about. fortunately, the room was extremely comfortable and the location was in close proximity to a few 24 hours restaurants in addition to being in a safe environ. the only short (typical to american hotels) is the hotel does...

We came in for the first time, a lot of people said the hotel room are small. They are but we just wanted a place to sleep and shower. The room were clean, and got everything we need, we even had a nice breakfast every day. If I need to go to NY again I will go to this hotel, I recommend it 5 star

I read about credit card overcharge when i stayed here in the reviews and was dismayed to learn it happened to me. The rooms were basic, hostel style but for the price great. It appears the reception staff couldnt find my booking and charged me as if i had no booking, but on contacting agoda the money was refunded. The area is nice and safe and lots of cheap eaterie...

We arrived at JFK from Europe, and we're to take a flight out of LGA the next morning. The Aloft was perfect. An easy Uber ride from JFK. The hotel was all it should be -- clean, well managed and with very friendly (but not overly so) staff. It was a 10-minute ride to our terminal the next morning on the free shuttle.

We stayed in Holiday Inn Express for one night because we wanted to stay close to airport as we must go back home in Virginia. I would say the hotel has everything we need, especially the free wifi in our room. Big hotels don't usually provide free WiFi but charged only. Breakfast was splendid and it was a real American breakfast. Thank you. We will stay in this hotel...

Had a fire alarm go off at 345am the first night. My terrified family ran down nine flights of stairs to safety. The fire department came and turned out it was nothing, but we were shaken and up til 6am. Overall not the hotels fault, but we overheard a fireman say something about an alarm battery being out. Very scary!

LaGuardia Airport (LGA) is one of the three major airports serving the New York City area, alongside JFK and Newark. Nestled in the borough of Queens, LaGuardia is renowned for its unique charm and significant role as a primary gateway for domestic flights. Unlike its counterparts, which handle a larger volume of international traffic, LaGuardia focuses mainly on domestic routes, making it a convenient choice for travelers heading to and from the United States. The airport's close proximity to Manhattan—just about eight miles away—ensures that visitors can reach the heart of the city in no time, making it an attractive option for both business and leisure travelers.
LaGuardia is not just about functionality; it also boasts a distinct character that sets it apart. The airport features a blend of modern architecture and classic design elements, creating a welcoming atmosphere for passengers. With ongoing renovations and upgrades, travelers can expect an enhanced experience, including more dining and shopping options, as well as improved terminal facilities. The airport's compact layout means that navigating through terminals is relatively easy, which is a significant advantage for those in a hurry.
Top Reasons to Choose LaGuardia Airport for Your Travels
Choosing LaGuardia Airport for your travels comes with a host of benefits. One of the standout features is its proximity to Manhattan. With a quick drive or a ride on public transport, travelers can be in the city in less than 30 minutes, allowing for easy access to popular attractions, business meetings, and vibrant nightlife. This makes LaGuardia an ideal choice for those who want to maximize their time in New York City without the hassle of long commutes.
Another compelling reason to fly into LaGuardia is the variety of airlines and routes available. Major airlines offer numerous daily flights to and from various destinations across the United States, ensuring that travelers can find convenient schedules that fit their plans. Whether it's a quick business trip or a leisurely vacation, LaGuardia provides the flexibility and options that many travelers seek. Additionally, the airport’s compact design means shorter walking distances between terminals, making connections smoother and less stressful.
Best Times to Fly in and Out of LaGuardia Airport
When planning your trip, it's essential to consider the best times to fly in and out of LaGuardia Airport. Generally, the peak travel seasons are during the summer months and around major holidays, such as Thanksgiving and Christmas. During these times, flights can fill up quickly, and prices may rise due to increased demand. If you can, consider traveling during the shoulder seasons—spring and fall—when the weather is still pleasant, but the crowds are thinner, and prices are more reasonable.
Weather can also play a significant role in your travel plans. New York City experiences a range of weather conditions throughout the year. Winters can be cold and snowy, potentially leading to flight delays, while summers can be hot and humid. Therefore, keeping an eye on weather forecasts can help you choose the best travel dates and avoid any unexpected disruptions. Overall, being mindful of these factors can enhance your travel experience and help you secure the best deals.
