Everything was fine. If you're looking for a cheaper accommodation for one or two nights in Menaggio, I recommend you to book a room at Lake Como Hostel. It's great that the hostel has its own restaurant with reasonable prices and kind staff. The only thing that bothered me was that the towel that they gave us was torn and the shutters couldn't be used.

Really nice hostel, well located and good value for money. Easy to meet people there, even if they don't have a guest kitchen which is definitely the point to improve. But the F&B price are really cheap and good value. Cheers

Great economy hostel”
Great economy hostel in an expensive area of Como lake. Stayed in a mixed dorm with great views of the lake and sunrise. Great friendly knowledgeable staff, and a good reasonably priced menu. Try the chicken in a basket, very good, and a carafe of the house red.

Very friendly staff”
This is an hostel, so don't expect 5 star facilities and service. We stayed 1 night in an double bedroom with own bathroom. The room was very simple and small but had what we needed: a clean bed and bathroom with shower plus a great lake view with sunrise. Another Plus was the included breakfast menu. Simple but fills the stomach. The menu at the restaurant is very affordable. Car parking is free on spot and along the road. Great place to stay for a few days.

Great view but not clean”
The view of this hostel is great! But the facility is quite poor, and not that clean. Bathroom is small and smelly. Table and chair on my balcony are full of lots of birds' shit but it seems the hostel dont want to clean it, its disgusting.

Great location, helpful and friendly staffs, provides foods and drink in a lovely price(but I didn’t had any foods there, cuz they didn’t provide the spaghetti I want at the moment) highly recommend.

A nice view and the hospitality”
I love view room to the lake. And we have dinner in their restaurant, pizza only 7 eur and spaghetti 10 eur. you can park the car in front of the hotel

We will visit this hostel again.It is a hostel and you need to remeber it is NOt a hotel! We loved meeting the people from other countries and of all ages who shred their travel stories-truly informative and inspirational.Location and view from the dining room was amazing.Matresses and pillows could be more comfortable.We took an italian language lesson here as well.

The hostal has an amazing lake view in common area we could have breakfast with stunning view. Staff was really nice its worth to try Saturday bbq for 12 euros very good and if you book before 7 pm you get s free drink! the breakfast was really poor though .

Mennagio ”
Location is good, easily accessed, 4 min walk from ferry. Basic breakfast is available for free. No AC in my room so it can be hard in the heat. Please don't order Pizza there, it ruined my experience for Pizza and I did not order any Pizza in italy after this.

i am so happy staying at this hostel. their cleanliness was great, free breakfast, beautiful view, near to ferry station and bus station so it's easy to get around to other areas in Lake Como. I will definitely stay at this place again for my next visit to Lake Como!

Basic room but great staff, location and meals”
Great value for money if you don’t mind a small basic room. You make your own bed but they supply sheets. Nice place to eat also with great views and atmosphere. Staff are very helpful and happy. Only about 100m from ferry, up gradual ramp. Menaggio is a beautiful place. Loved it.

It is very difficult to walk up the ally incase you have a lot of luggage. The staff was friendly, room was clean and neat. Breakfast was basic but good enough. Overall 4 star

Das "Frühstück inkl." ist irreführend. Man erhält abends einen Beutel mit parr Crackern/Keksen, einem Kleks MArmelade und eine Kaffeekapsel. Das ist das Frühstück. Besser man plant ein, sich selbst um was Essbares zu kümmern.

Heel vriendelijk personeel. Lekker gegeten ’s avonds. De kamer kan wel een opknapbeurt gebruiken. Schimmel in de douche. Stof van meer dan 1 dag op de bedden. Moest zelf bed opmaken. Dat is misschien eigen aan een jeugdherberg. Zeer late incheck. 17u. Dus niet iets voor ons!
