Hidden gem”
It was not easy to find the hotel at first as the hotel name was hard to be seen. The hotel is run by a married couple and service was great and great scenery with the lake view room.

The staff gave us a detailed introduction of the area including Restaurants for breakfast and dinner, Attraction points, and Ferry timetable. We had a room with lake view, however, stink toilet.

Staffs were helpful, great location ”
This was a great location, where the 邵族 culture can be seen everywhere. This is the side of the sun moon lake where you can try unique food to the tribe and about a 10 mins walk to the ropeway. The inn is steps away from the pier, and you can purchase discounted ferry tickets from them. Everything was great except for Internet. The wifi signal is only strong when you're on the first or second floor, anything higher you'll have to search for neighboring wifi. We had a pocket wifi so that wasn't an issue for us, but it is something to consider. The room with the view was facing the pier and the lake, which was beautiful.

Cosy hotel next to food street with lake view”
Most of the yummy food stalls near Sun Moon Lake are near the hotel, great location. Room is overseeing the pier and lake view which is fabulous. Need to call hotel staff to open door for us when arrive because she was not there, not so convenient if you don' have mobile number in Taiwan. Other than that, we had a great stay!

Very friendly staff and lovely hotel”
This hotel is more like a home stay than a hotel. It is very close to Ita Thao pier so that after you arrive at Sun Moon Lake area, you could take a ferry to reach the hotel directly. Staff were very helpful and attentive. They do not provide 24 hours check-in service but you could contact them via mobile phone. They also gave us a map which was very helpful to browse the food and local area. The room was very spacious and well-decorated. You could also took a peek at the pier and saw the sun rise as well. They also provided free hot and cold water. One disadvantage is that this place do not have any lifts so be prepared to lift your luggage all the way up.

The room exceeded expectations as it was spacious yet cozy, had a not-bad view of the lake (at 3rd floor), and I have nothing to complain about the bathroom either. The staff was also very accomodating and helpful, providing much needed advice that lead to a very smooth stay as we were short on time yet wanted to squeeze in as many sights and going to the Aboriginal Village at the same time. Great location on the lake away from the busy area”
Hotel was basic but right on the lake. It was lovely in the evening to get some drinks and sit by the lake. Very quiet at night but still a few places to eat within minutes of the hotel. Also a 7/11 close by for cheap beer and munchies. Staff were really chilled and didn't pay us much attention, which was fine. They were friendly. Only Wifi was downstairs but we were busy sat by the lovely lake in the evening. Looking back, it was a really lovely experience.

Good view and clean room”
If you want lake view room, get the highest floor room else your view will get blocked by the signage. A bit difficult to get hold of the receptionist and we were locked outside of the door and have to get help from the local to call the receptionist. The location is very easily found as it is right beside the jetty. Food stalls are nearby but closed quite early. Room is spacious and clean
