One of THE BEST HOTELS in all of Taiwan”
My husband and I came and stayed here for 4 nights/5 days over our wedding weekend. This is the best hotel I have stayed at in Taiwan in terms of amenities, services, rooms, and customer service (better than The Grand Hotel in Taipei!). THE ROOM: Our room was impeccable and had hot/cold springs bath in the bathroom, which is huge, bright and luxurious. Our room was clean, comfortable and included a balcony. Complimentary water, drinks and snacks are left every day by housekeeping AND the bed is soft and comfortable (unlike many Taiwan beds that are as hard as a rock). AMENITIES There are plenty of public spaces available to guests, which I loved. There are 2 reading rooms, one of which has an outdoor balcony. I spent time on the balcony drinking wine and playing games with friends, and painting by the gorgeous view in the rooftop reading room. There is a gym and also of course, the beautiful infinity pool with hot springs. I liked that towels and everything you need are provided, and the amenities are open til 10, which means you can really enjoy them (some places things close at an absurdly early time, like 7 or 8, so it was really nice to be able to swim or play games in the evening after dinner). THE RESTAURANT Complimentary breakfast is provided every morning, buffet style, and it is legitimately delicious. Western and Chinese style breakfasts and everything cooked SO well; cereal, eggs, toast, croissants, sushi, noodles, lu rou fan, sausages, I mean everything you could want. They also use a smart system where you choose the time you want to eat, so there's always enough food and the wait time for seats is never more than just a few minutes (even at 9:30 on a Sunday when we went). We also had dinner here one night and it was delicious-- not buffet style, but very tasty and reasonable prices. In addition, from 3-8 they have a wine bar, and you get a complimentary drink (wine or tea) for each day of your stay. I've never seen anything like this at

We booked one night for a Monday off, and was impressed by their thoughtful service, since they sent a message in the morning to inform the local weather before we leave for Su-ao. Since we arrive in Yilan very late (at around 20:30), the staff called again to confirm and to let us know how to park our car, which we really appreciate and feel 100% welcomed by hotel. The room at 13F is very spacious with a beautiful mountain view, where you can enjoy a nice hot/cold spring with a view, besides the well-known natural source is awesome and very good for the skin. Their buffet breakfast is various with many choices of local food but more on the Asian side, I would prefer a nice omelet or scramble egg if it’s possible. Overall I enjoyed my stay although it’s only one night, will definitely come back and recommend to my friends.

We decided to book this hotel after watching an episode of Mr Player. One of the best hotels we have stayed so far. The rooms were clean and spacious and the hotel staff were all so attentive. Service was awesome!

Perfect getaway with hot and coldspring”
Took the Seaview room with hot and cold spring inside our room. Staff was very polite and helpful, very well trained! Was told the sunrise time upon check-in, and was lucky to see it just from our room! You may also go up to the rooftop area for sunrise and they'll provide you food and drinks for that! Good selection of breakfast food. Will definitely want to come back!

So much to offer!”
The hotel exceeded our expectations. It has a lot to offer. We fully enjoyed the hot & cold springs in the room, the rooftop pool, and the AYCE breakfast. They extended the breakfast hours to 12:00, which was really nice! It was quite busy when we visited, but the hotel did a good job managing that. Highly recommend this hotel and would definitely come back again.

Amazing place, first class staff”
Staff makes this place. The hotel is beautiful and a great boutique place. Pool, room, hot springs are all wonderful. Town is decent with some excellent seafood. But this staff is possibly the best we’ve ever experienced. From top to bottom, start to finish everyone was exceptional. We also enjoyed the breakfasts, it’s a solid food program. We had a preset dinner menu for 9 our last night, it was one of the best French forward meals I’ve ever had. I was blown away by the meal, and we are serious foodies who dine well. It was very inexpensive and it just impressed. So happy we spent a few days here. Total relaxation .

Great Stay at Lakeshore”
Stayed 2 nights and it was great to have a nice hotel with both hot and cold spring water in the room! Service is great, rooms were very clean and the reading rooms at the top floor are a very nice touch! Our family enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back despite it's location.

Hot and cold springs is perfect post ride”
i rode my bicycle all the way from taipei and informed them about it way back in July. When I arrived, they were very welcoming. I chose this hotel to have virtual Christmas celebration with my family because of the perfect view of the sunrise, if you're lucky which I wasn't but, the hot and cold springs in my room was perfect after my 140km ride. Fine dining set dinner meal was not enough for a hungry cyclist tho but it was tasty. Will definitely return and hope to see the sunrise next time.

Romantic Getaway in Su'Ao”
This hotel was fantastic! The room, bed, and bathroom hot/cold springs were very comfortable and nice. The staff were extremely professional, making sure our stay in Su'Ao was everything it could be. The daily wine coupons were a nice surprise, and the breakfast had a vast array of choices. I would only recommend more western options, as most were Chinese style. For example, the omelette bar was only for Chinese omelettes (dan bing). Another bummer was that the pool was inacessable due to thunder both night we stayed there. This especially was a let down bc we booked the place largely in part with the infinity pool in mind! Oh well, the in-room hot/cold springs helped make up for it. And don't forget to ask for the complimentary condoms!

Feel relaxed and recharged”
Lakeshore hotel at Suao has great facilities. The pool and hot spring are wonderful and the reading room is a good place to chill out. The room had everything we needed and the breakfast was really good quality. Delicious! A free glass of wine every evening was a nice treat and staff were friendly. The only problem we had was that the pool didn't supply towels. They said this was because of covid 19 but really if this is thw case more towels need to be provided in the room or guests told in advance that they need to bring a swim towel. We assumed at a 4 star hotel this would be taken care of. The location is a slightly dodgy walk to Nanfangao but there is a great cycle path. If the hotel could rent bicycles it would add another fantastic activity and encourage people to stay longer.
