Met Our Needs - It a great place to stay if accommodation only is important”
I dont recommend the Lakeside Lodge for families as there is not pool or other facilities to entertain the kids. The room we stayed in just had a king bed, so I'm not sure what other options are there. If you want value accommodation, and to use it as a base of operations for your stay, or even business trips its in a great location just outside Lismore. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it. Modern rooms with fridge, jug, tea, coffe, and a microwave.

Not welcome”
I booked for one overnight stay for myself and my granddaughter, aged 12. She had a dance competition the day we arrived and had to be at her competition venue by 12 noon. I rang the hotel the day before and asked if our room could be available at 11 am so my granddaughter could get ready for the comp. I spoke to a very friendly lady who assured me that she would make sure the room was ready by 11 am. On arrival at 11 am, the first thing the man at the reception desk asked me was how much I had paid to Agoda for the room. He then told me my room was not ready because I was early, and I really felt that he was taking it out on me because of his displeasure with Agoda. I told him that I had rung the day before to arrange early check in and he said "you must have spoken to the Chinese lady". After quite a long wait in silence he conceded that my room was ready except for filling up the bar fridge. He caused me unnecessary anxiety by his unpleasantness and threat not to let me into the room. He should not have victimised me because Agoda gave me a good rate. I have used Agoda before and will continue to do so, but I will not stay at Lakeside Lodge again.

Great Value”
Large, comfortable, nice looking and clean room with dual cycle air-con, comfy bed with electric blanket. I had very little interaction with staff, but they were pleasant, efficient and helpful. Location is right by the airport and highway, I was not bothered by the sound but some might be. I travel a lot for work and I'd say this is a very good motel for the money. I'd spend my own money here.

Clean and tidy”
I made a last minute booking to the motel and arrived at around 9:30pm, due to being out of hours there was nobody on reception. I buzzed and within 2 minutes I was greeted by the manager. He was friendly and polite and quick to get everything in order for me. Room was spacious, plenty of storage space, really clean and well made up room. Out side has a fab little patio overlooking the greenery. I would happily stay again if it were a little cheaper.

the motel is located in good location. The room was of good size for family of young children. The lake next to motel is dry. ( no water) Friendly staff. would recommend to family.

Lovely hotel and service with a smile”
A comfortable room in what we consider the best motel at Lismore. Only disadvantage (a small one) the motel is out of the city and to get there transport is necessary. (Not a problem for us as we had a hired car).

Although the hotel boasts 'a tranquil lakeside location', there was nothing tranquil about our stay. The hotel is in fact right on the major highway and the noise of traffic all day and night was overwhelming and it was difficult to sleep or rest.

Set just a quick drive from town but not too far. Comfy affordable accommodation ideal for singles or families. Carpark right at your door makes it easy. Rooms very clean.

Lovely staff, great food, just noisy location&A/C”
The staff was absolutely lovely. They catered for our dietary requirements and where always punctual with the breakfast order, which allowed us to be on time for the tournament dates. The food was excellent. The rooms were spacious and clean and the shower was a treat with really hot water and great pressure to recover after long matches. The A/C was extremely noisy which make it difficult to sleep, as well as the noise from the highway just in front. It will be so much better if the A/C can operate on a quiet mode and to plant a tree barrier to contain the noise from the road a little bit.

Lakeview... there is no lake, maybe there was once? Room was very stuffy and smelly on arrival, glasses were dirty but the motel supplies dish wash so all good. Bed was solid, linen and towels were nice. Over all, ok motel off a noisy highway. Would have rather stayed in cbd... next time

Loved the little milk bottles in recycled bottles (instead of tiny plastic uht milk that is not even enough for a cuppa), easy check in and checkout, super close to where we needed to be, easy to get to . Shame there was no water in the lake, unfortunately so dry.
