It was a great accomodation and will definitely visit it again. Got a nice upgrade at check in which was definitely a plus also the staff were very helpful as well. The views from the room were amazing as we stayed on the motel side.

We were very satisfied with the location, and easily accessible facilities like market, food, activities just within 5 minutes reach, helpful staff, reception staff, cleanliness, facilities. However the WiFi facility worked very scant. Overall good safe place for a stay.

Central location ”
Location a few minutes walk from central queenstown. Friendly staff. Rooms are dated. But 2 double beds were comfortable and shower powerful. Tv just 2 channels. Would stay here again. Only issues were right next to road so traffic noisy at times and could hear public talking as they walked past in to early hours.

Was alright for location just a walk to central town and has a good view, A motel is a motel nothing special like a hotel. Pricing was a little expensive it’s New Zealand expensive but it’s cheaper than most of the other hotels in the same area as it should be. Cleanliness was good but I did notice a bit of mould build up along the ceiling closest to the window frame. Facilities were spot on kitchen, bathroom tea and coffee provided for free and a ironing board in the closet overall not bad. Would stay here again for the convenience

Old Motel, needs improvement”
Location is very good, within walking distance to centre of town, and Skyride etc. Also good view of the lake from the porch. This motel is old, though the bathroom is recently renovated. But the rest of the room could use a renovation. Under staffed (post COVID recovery problem), so beds were not made and towels although changes was just left on the couch. We stayed multiple days, and one day the room was not cleaned by the time we got back in late afternoon.

Rather dated unit but bathroom appeared to have been redecorated. Very comfortable super king bed. 5 min walk to town. Lovely view of the lake. A bit of traffic noise as only single glazed. Possibly a little over priced.

The noise from the street, the lake craft, people outside … it all comes straight into the room. Facilities are in need of a makeover. No air conditioning and the top floor rooms heat up.

Great location - not great quality”
Beds were really hard, oven located in a way that made getting trays out unsafe, light came into the room through the kitchen and bathroom as it must have been adjacent to other rooms or corridor. Queenstown is expensive but this room was not good value for money. On the plus side the location is great and the views of the lake beautiful!

The place was dirty. Oven was rusty and the fridge door held together with tape. The location was excellent... easy walk into town and lovely view of the lake.

Overall experience”
I booked 2 rooms for 5 travellers. Again, towel is dirty and comes with black stain. Shower pressure is also low. Warmer is again not that warm. Most importantly, the internet is totally useless, i.e, a third world country internet access. Overall, it looks seriously old inside although the management tried its best to make good of its exterior. Would not recommend as there were better choices out there with the same price range per night. Hope the management will consider make good of its interior too.
