We booked about 5 rooms as a family, rooms need more attention as aircon made loud noises during the night , everytime the next room used the bathroom we could hear the geyser n toilet , the toilets had a bad drainage smell every time you opened the door, headboard in my room was shaking every time u took a turn , curtains were falling of the railing , it’s a nice convenient place but rooms need attention and servicing urgently

Have to say we were disappointed with Agoda as our booking didn't reflect on the hotel computer when we got there however the staff had accommodated my family of 6 with adequate rooms upon me showing them the confirmation booking. Thank you Lakeview staff but still disappointed with Agoda

Unfortunate Circumstances”
It was very unfortunate that I was in a room next to another guest that had to be at the airport 4:00 in the morning. When he started his shower just after 3:00 the shaking pipework woke me up. Just after I fell asleep again Thabo knocked on my door and when I opened, he came to the realisation that he have just woken the wrong guest and apologised and knocked next door. Needless to say I couldn't get myself to sleep again then. I am not the kind of person that likes to complain unnecessary and therefore don't want to be overly negative. I do realise that Thabo just made a very common human error. The unfortunate thing is that when One has had an experience like this you automatically judge everything else about the place with a very critical eye. I would have preferred for Thabo to have reported this indecent to his superior, which would have given the manager the opportunity to personally apologise to me at breakfast. If he did this then I would have had nothing to complain about.

I would recommend the place but I was disappointed to find that they didn't change the sheets on the bed after they cleaned the room. The staff was friendly especially the guy who works at night, he made sure that our cars are parked and we'll taken of.

Definitely not a 4star rating ”
My family and I booked 2 family rooms for a weeks stay and upon arrival was told that our rooms are not available. We eventually were given two alternative rooms which was ok because we fortunately just needed rooms ro Sleep and not actually stay for long periods. The staff are extremely helpful but are limited to what they can and cannot do. Facilities are in definite need of an upgrade (TV and Shower heads especially) and breakfast is by far of no standard to a 4 star hotel. Management are need of serious training, especially when it comes to staff treatment and equipping. We could hear staff being yelled at and told off for issues that management should be resolving. Several guests during our stay complained about no towels, breakfast being finished before cut off time, the noise levels from other guests and several other complaints. The hotel would make for an excellent stay if facilities were upgraded, breakfast improved and most of all, having trained night staff who can handle rowdy and unruly guests. The hotel should also be honest and review it’s rating because it’s no where near a 4 star standard. They are definitely charging 4 star prices but it’s closer to a 2star to be brutally honest. The one plus is that the beds were comfy and the few staff, like the house cleaners went out of their way to help make people, not just us, feel welcome and comfortable. Thank you for doing your best with the limited resources that were available to you. Hopefully if I do return here, these comments will be taken into consideration and improvements will be made to make our stay a truly memorable one. Take care and all the best
