The room is clean and enough facilities The hotel owners are so kind If we have a chance to come Sun Moon Lake I'll stay here for sure If you looking for a hotel at Sum Moon Lake , I recommend this one. Perfect location + Spacious rooms with great view”
one of the best place to enjoy the peacfulness of sun moon lake. located in the heart of the traditional village of ita thao. very close to the pier, restaurant and night market. the room was very modern spacious and just renovated. our room had a balcony with an increadible view over the lake. the staff is very kind and always smily. they made our stay even more enjoyable. we really recommand this place.

Great Location with view of the Sun Moon Lake”
Stayed on the 5th floor. It had a small balcony with a view of the Sun Moon Lake, though part of the view of blocked by a pier. However, because of the close proximity to the edge of the lake, still has quite a good near view of the waters.

Fireflies: An unexpected experience”
We were initially given the lakeview room which is simply gorgeous but the staff found out it was a mistake (we forgot we booked what room as well) and we were transferred to a normal bedroom with no view. It was a disappointment but you pay what you get: A basic room with a bit old bathing facilities. The best thing that happened was signing to view lots of fireflies in the nearby hill which we did not expect at all. May apparently is the season to see fireflies. For a city dweller, seeing so many fireflies like stars in the sky is a once in a lifetime experience that money can't buy.

Nice place to go but shop nearby close too early”
rooms are clean but the hotel is a bit old, staff are friendly and helpful at all times. good location for the lake view, but the shop nearby close early..around 5 pm, so, nothing much to do at night. easy travel for couple would be rather more enjoyable. facilities such as wi fi are available in both rooms and lobby. hotel are well maintained for the cleanliness but the hotel a bit worn out.

Lovely staff, clean and tidy room”
This hotel is situated on the opposite side of the lake, hence quieter at night. If you're looking for a place to relax, this is the place to be. It is 1 minute walk away from the lake.

Good location with clean room”
The location is good as it's near the pier and food street is around the corner with a 7-11 at the junction. I stayed in the family room with lakeview so the view was awesome.

Small and cosy motel with nice clean rooms”
The motel is located at the old streets of yi da shao, not the main tourist area (shui she). Hotel staff got our bookings all wrong and made us change rooms 3 times before they got it right. But overall the stay was pleasant. Breakfast is simple but delicious. Free ground coffee is provided at the lobby at all times, which is a godsend for coffee lovers. Hot and cold water dispenser available at every level.

The worst hotel I stayed on my last trip to Taiwan”
Definitely I will not stay again at this hotel, since the hotel's location is far from the place we get off from bus, which brings us from Taichung (high speed train station) to Sun Moon Lake area, and then we must take taxi to go to the hotel. Also, this hotel & its room look different from the pictures shown. If we want to have the same nice room as shown at , then we have to pay extra.

Serene stay”
Hotel is located near to the lake and short walking distance to the cable car station. *Ideally for visitor like us who wish to visit the One Piece Theme park located within the Arboriginal Culture Village, accessible by cable car. Hotel is simple and "home" feel like. There was a wake next to the hotel with ritual going on the few nights of my stay but finish before 11pm. Wifi in room however was, poor.

Not that bad for a one night stay, overall alright”
Room came without Windows, requested for room with window, got offered highest level lake view room with balcony. However the top up was not worth it, thus didnt get it. With the price we've paid, we could get better ones with better view, however this was a last minute booking. Amenities were average. Just that Wifi signal wasnt strong in room. Counter staff explained nearby attractions and ways to travel around.

It was a wonderful stay in this hotel. The various local recommended food & drinks are right outside the street of the hotel, consider a good location. The room is very comfortable & clean. The owner was also very kind & attentive to our needs. Definitely worth another stay!

Its was hard to find at first as I am not able to reach much of chinese words, however, we still manage to get into the place. And took us sometimes to find the staffs during check in time. Love the Taiwan porridge breakfast with varieties of side ingredients suitable for elderly. Quiet and near to the lake view.

This hotel is very near ferry port - convenient!”
This is a bed-and-breakfast like hotel. The room size is ok, not as big as what I expect. However, there are plenty of yummy local food stalls next to the hotel. So, there is no difficulty to find something yummy to eat at night time.

Overrated Hotel with rude staff”
The staff is unfriendly seems like we owed them money. The hotel is near the end of the street and need major improvement. The room is ok but wear and tear can be seen every corner of the room. You can not view the lake unless you are on the back side and top floor of the building. The name of Lake View is really misleading.

An "OK" hotel with spacious room”
the person who checked us in was not familiar with the agoda procedure - she asked for a payment, but this was sorted out after referring to her superior. the room was spacious with big beds. however, 1 of us suffered from bed bugs. location was fine - you can take a short walk to the jetty and around the hotel for street food. some of the shops may close early if there aren't any customers. the hotel owner was kind enough to lend us her computer and printer. breakfast was good though.
