Absolutely beautiful motel ! Manager was so polite and welcoming .The motel is across from the lake and u can cook at the bbqs there making meals easy .And a magical view ! Affordable and comfortable with easy access to Woolworths and other shops close to beaches it was just perfect ! My new go to holiday destination couldn’t recommend it highly enough ! Well done to the man who managers it you have done a wonderful job you should be proud

Called Lakeview motel: no view from room in fact lake is on other side of road. Manager checked me in an gave me key to a room already occupied!! Told me ph. Numbers of courtesy buses were in compendium,but no! Says a breakfast menu was in back but no!. And would have appreciated being given the password for wifi access but no! Anyway room clean, bed uncomfortable.

So sorry that your not happy with the name of the Motel, as the lake is across the road and you can see it if you walk out your door, I think its appropriate, we did not name the Motel it has had this name for the last 25 years. The room key was an honest mistake which I apologised for numerous times. The phone numbers are in fact in the compendium which I checked after reading this review, our wifi code is on the front door of reception for every guests viewing. We no longer put our breakfast menu in our compendium as they are on the reception counter, clearly in view when you check in. In regards to the bed, people prefer different beds and had you let me know of your discomfort I could have changed you to another room. I'm glad you thought the room was clean at least.

Although it looks a little rough on the exterior. the interior was good. I wouldn't quite rate as 4 star, but definitely 3.5. Stairs were quite steep. Staff were nice.

Arrived to be told that, despite booking two rooms of the same description, only one was available and that no refund nor credit was available for taking a lesser room. This put the stay off to a bad start from the beginning. I would not stay at this motor inn again because of it. Also, despite being named a "Motor Inn" parking was extremely tight and somewhat inadequate.
