Find hotels near Laleli in İstanbul, Turkey

It was good I stayed only one night with 2 friends... But I needed to extend my reservation and the roime was all full.. .But in agoda.com I found rooms so I asked the reception about why they said there is no room and online there is rooms left... He said yes that's right but if you booked I will send you to another hotel which I didn't quite understand.... Is this acceptable? Up to you to decide...Maybe you book here and find yourself somewhere else... Good luck

The hotel is simple but you will get more than what you pay for. Staff is friendly and will help you with any question you have in going around Istanbul and even Turkey. Also, the breakfast was surprisingly good and very filling. It is 10 mins away from key attractions in Istanbul so you will get to see almost all the best tourist spots in 2 days time from the hotel location. Also there are lots of good shopping and dining options around the hotel. Just bring a copy of the address and contact number when you arrive as some taxi drivers do not know where the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel for first time travelers to Istanbul.

Stayed only for 2 nights, initial room was facing inwards and boiling hot as the air con was only in heat mode and the reception mentioned they can't change the setting to cool. Ended up not getting enough sleep. Thankfully managed to move to an outward room the next day, which was much pleasant. The breakfast was very good with a good selection. The pool is a bit of a waste in the winter as it is not heated and sized more like a plunge pool. Location is 10 mins from the Laleli tram stop and felt safe returning back late at night

we were here at a very busy time and the lobby of the hotel was always full of people, yet somehow the reception staff found a way to give us any of the help we needed within just a few minutes. the hotel is clean and convenient to all the major istanbul sites, but not right in the heart of sultanahmet. my only complaints are that the rooms and bathrooms are pretty small, but very clean and well-maintained, and that the room can be noisy at night because the hotel is close to a disco or restaurant with a live band. but to be fair, i was usually very tired at the end of every day, so would fall asleep pretty early regardless of the music and don't really know what time it stopped at, so it may not be a big concern.

We chose this hotel because of its proximity to all things touristy and yet at the same time its proximity to the metro line, which takes us to and from the airport. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The room we got had a nice view of the city and a nearby mosque. Might get a bit noisy, but we usually sleep with ear plugs, so nothing to worry about. Good facilities, fast free internet. There was a good variety at breakfast time. The only real let-down was the terrible coffee.

Our stay got off to an unexpected start as the assigned room was much smaller than the pictures posted on Agoda and was unsuitable for a couple to stay in. However, the staff accommodated our grievance by giving us a free upgrade to Deluxe room. Much to our delight the new room was great, and the standard of service was also excellent. The breakfast had a wide variety and the dining staff was extremely courteous. The best thing about this hotel is the location, 3 minutes away from tram and metro stations. Finally would like to offer our sincerest compliments to the reception staff namely Mr. Erdogan who went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and also advised us on the whats and hows of touring Istanbul city. He also went so far as to lend us a spare transport card that is used for accessing public transport in the city.

We booked a triple bed room as we were traveling with our 15 year old daughter. The hotel is small and so is the room. But for the triple room, it's okay for us as we only spent time in the room for sleeping and the rest of the time we were wandering around Old Sultan Ahmed area. The breakfast spread is not bad, but the same food spread is being served for the three days we were there. Still, we don't mind as we love the spread. As usual, it is difficult to find one who speaks English around Istanbul, but the concierge speaks English quite well and we also refer to him for queries. Overall, not bad. No complaints from us.

Arriving very late to the Hotel we were initially given a larger handicapped room. It was well designed and had two single beds. We were moved to a much smaller standard room the next day. The rooms and bathrooms are very small but clean and fairly new in design. The room was fairly quiet even though it faced the very busy street. The location and ability to quickly walk or take the tram to most attractions and sites makes it a great hotel for tourists. The breakfast was great but as we quickly learned did not ever vary in the 5 days we stayed there. I would use this hotel again but not at the posted rate of for a double per night.

Laleli hotel is a nice hotel in a good Neigbourhood. Rooms are spacious and clean and the beds are one of the comfortablest I have ever slept in. Showers are nicely decorated and rooms are kept clean every day. The rooftop has an amazing view there is also a lovely swimming pool, it was being renovated when I was there, but looked lovely all the same. Staff are very friendly and Etam was especially helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to go back.

The staff were all very helpful and pleasant. My only other time I have experienced such service was in the Taj Mahal in Mumai India which is a plus 5 star hotel. We travel a lot due to my husband’s work. And tend to be hotels nearly every week. The hotel only opened about 4 months ago. All was very clean. The bed was of nice and firm. The room was a good size. The bathroom in design well thought out. No noise so had a good night sleep. We did not use the spa facilities so cannot comment on it. The location was very good - Trams nearby, a taxi stand nearby and shops and restaurants around the corner. Good for sightseeing too. We would without hesitation recommend this hotel to anyone travelling. And we will stay there again on our next trip back to Istanbul.

good location,5min walk from Laleli tramway .close to the shopping area,especially blue market.nice staff.quite area.free wifi in our room and all over the hotel .clean rooms.would have liked a bit bigger rooms .simply reasonable breakfast ,with good coffee and nice ambience even though it's underground .no view and tiny balcony from our room.all in all our stay was pleasant since it was a business trip ,we got what we expected.

Except reception problem for our baggage from our friends ! My friend delivered our baggage in the hotels baggage room and reception received it. But when we asked about our baggage reception told us no baggage delivered for you !!! And I called to my friend for baggage from room in few sec about 30 sec. Reception required me to pay 4 US$ for phone call !!! Very expensive for local phone call !!! I think a reception working not good for guests baggage claim!!!

I stayed at the hotel for three nights on my visit to Instanbul It's very near laleli and all other sight seeing places The staff is very helpful and very welcoming The breakfast in the morning is delicious They have a variety of foods to choose from. What I enjoyed most is the bath tub in the rooms. I'm not a fan of showering. In short I enjoyed my stay there and will definitely go back

The Air condation was very bad, in Augest the only summer month in Istanbul, the air condation of the room not working it was very humid, when i asked them to solve the problem they giving me a fan, that night i couldnt sleep, even the breackfast is not good, no diversity and sometimes there is some non fresh kinds, the room was not so clean, there is no dental or shaving kits, the shampoo and soap is not enough for 2 persons in the room, the receptionist was not so kind, really it is not recomended.

This is a very convenient hotel to the old town (Sultanahmet). You can walk to all the major attractions if you wish but it is much easier to jump on a tram and alight at the Haga Sophia, Blue Mosque or Grand Bazaar etc. The check in is efficient and the doorman is right there to collect your luggage as you arrive. The rooms are very clean and well serviced. Breakfast is typical middle eastern fare but there are plenty of choices to select from. Staff were incredibly helpful with our luggage concerns and with breakfast for an early departure. We were impressed with the hotel and rebooked for 2 more days at the end of our tour.

The Hotel management is extremely helpful and especially the Manager of the Hotel Mr Gokhan is a gem of a person and a very good human being, he's really helpful and very kind. The breakfast is really good and the hotel is very strategically placed near to Metro station, Bus Station as well as the tram station. The facilities swimming pool, sauna, steam and indoor pool are fantastic. Like everyone I did prior bookings for my stay for 4 nights on the Historical side and 3 Nights on the European side, had I not done that I would have stayed in this hotel for all my stay. Mr Gokhan had been really helpful in more than 1-2 ways, he would arrange for ur tours on best prices, he would arrange for taxis n all. Everything you expect for and much more than that in the best possible price. Thanks Tanuj

It is reasonably price hotel in Istambul. Not that clean neighbourhood but still safe to walk around even at night. Good food (kebab) aavailable around the hotel plus great super sweet desert! The hotel is clean though the room is a bit small. Staff are friendly and speak reaonably good English. The Front office staff speak very good English ( Mr.Mustafa ). Near to tram station, Leele. Can take you everywhere for TL1.5. Buy the token at stall or dispense by machine. Taxi driver does not speak English much so hard to communicate. Best take the tram to move around. By bus is not a good idea because of traffic jam. Textile is the business around hotel. But it is more for whole seller. To buy clothes, better go to Mahmud Pasa behind Grand Bazzar. From hotel you can walk up to Spice market where can get anything that you want in Turkey! To airport, taxi stand is just in front of Hotel.
