Lovely gem on top of the world”
Just lovely, this resort offers a splendid view over the sea and the rest of the island, rooms are clean and airy. Electricity is on nearly 24h, and they provide a fan in each room. Aircon is really not needed because of the breeze. The restaurant offers "I think" the best and cheapest food on the entire island, bigger portions and cheaper than outside...which is BIG plus in my book. I would recomend renting a scooter, since its the best way og getting around. This my second stay in this place, and keep comming back - just perfect!

Amazing place great food ”
Do not be put off because this place isnt on the beach we usually stay at ziggys on aoi yai, we love the location stunning views lovely clean rooms tvs fans no bugs no mosquitoes obviously that can change. Food and drinks great prices also if u want to party a little sports bar and norway bar and richarda all close by we would 100000% stay here again in april when we willq be back

Unfriendly staff”
Lamai resort has beautiful views from a mountain top. If you have any mobility issues this resort would be hard to get around. The food is good. The staff is not friendly. If you pay for a deluxe room, make sure the manager does not give you a standard. She acted like she did not know the difference. Deluxe is much larger. The only amenity provided was a small bar of soap. Rent a motor scooter in town to see the island. The mosquitoes are terrible at dusk and the rooms have a lot of spaces for them to enter. Fans only.

Amazing views ”
Pros: the views are amazing from the restaurant and from your bungalow Tne food in the restaurant is very nice and large portion size Not far from the pier Cons: NO WIFI in the rooms , although advised that there is ,, believe me there is not . I questioned the manager and I was greeted by lies and More lies before finally admiting that it is not installed in the rooms. Where the hotel is , really you will need a scooter to get around the island , this is easy and cheap to do by the pier when you arrive (I didn’t really see this as a con as I would of hired a scooter anyway to look around) The staff are ok , but not particularly friendly to be honest , I’m not sure I see a smile once . Room wasn’t cleaned in 3 days No kettle or fridge which for tne money I think there should be . I would stay here again if the wifi was sorted out or recommend it if WiFi doesn’t bother you

Beautiful view from the bungalow balcony. Good accommodation, but a weird bedcover so we used our towels as blankets. We had almost 0 service, only water and toilet paper was put in front of the bungalow door every day. But not there was no cleaning of the room for our whole stay of 4 nights. But all in all it is a nice place To stay and also not very expensive. It's also a nice place on the island, you can get everywhere very fast.

Très bon rapport qualité prix, accueil un peu froid , mais je pense qu'elle est comme ça 😏 bungalow sympa et suffisamment espacé,.pour avoir le sentiment d'être seul avec la nature . Séjour super , nous reviendrons. Attention pas de WiFi dans les bungalow.

toller Ausblick”
die Lage und der Ausblick sind einmalig. Leider wird nichts gepflegt. Waschbecken gesprungen, Wasser ist nur ein Rinnsal und nur kalt. Türe lässt sich nur schwer schließen. Aber für ein paar Tage ausreichend.

Schöne Aussicht und gutes Essen mit Einschränkungen”
Der etwas zurückhaltende und morbide Scharm der Chefin spiegelt sich bei gänzlich ungeschultem Personal wieder. Einzig die Freundlichkeit der Köchin und das super Essen erinnern einen, dass man hier in Thailand ist. Die Standartbungalows sind zweckmäßig ausgestattet, aber nur einige haben warmes Wasser. Die renovierten Bungalows sind zu teuer. Die Reinigung des Bungalows erfolgte selbst nach Aufforderung nur unzureichend. Das Essen ist hervorragend aber nicht ganz billig. Die Einzelbungalows von Nr. 1 bis 10 haben eine schöne Aussicht auf die Insel und das Meer. Durch die Höhenlage sind Umgebungsgeräusche (z.B. durch den belebten Hauptort, oder Bauarbeiten) deutlich wahrzunehmen. Der Hauptort und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind fußläufig gut zu erreichen, wobei insgesamt ein Scooter zu empfehlen wäre. Bungalow Nr. 5 wurde in der Wand durch ein Wespenvolk bewohnt, das sich nach massiven Gifteinsatz nicht zum Auszug bewegen ließ und sehr ungehalten (mit Stichen) auf Störungen reagierte.

beste Entscheidung! ”
liegt 15 minuten vom pier zu Fuß, 20min zu Fuß zum buffalo bay (oft ebbe, aber bei flut wunderschön!) sehr nette Mitarbeiter, tolles essen! wir haben 2 nächte gebucht und haben auf ca 1,5 Wochen verlängert, weil wir so begeistert waren und auch mit anderen Bungalows verglichen haben. es ist weit oben, also sollte man sich einen roller mieten, dann sind es auch nur max 15 min zum wundervollen long beach. oben ist es sehr windig, was total angenehm ist und uns gerade abendsvor der schwülen hitze gerettet hat. (aber gibt auch nen venitalor) . es ist an allen Fenstern moskitoschutz angebracht. die Bungalows sind auch nicht haus an haus, sodass man auch ein wenig Privatsphäre hat. das einzige wo ich einen Punkt abziehen würde wäre die Sauberkeit. es gibt sehr viele ameisen und es ist nicht superpenibel sauber, aber das ist halt so ;) bei uns wurden auch nur 1x die Handtücher gewechselt und auch nur auf Anfrage. aber wir würden trotzdem jederzeit wieder kommen und danken ganz herzlich!

Top lage , wunderschöne aussicht”
War für 4 tage im lamai war eigentlich ok ... essen gibts besseres auf der insel aber ist ja zum glück geschmackssache ;-) was mich einwenig ärgerte ich habe einen tag zu lange gebucht ... von der reception kein wille auf entgegenkommen ... also zb .. 1/2 preis der übernachtung zürück oder so ...nix kein willle... service ist was anderes ...

Super mooi uitzicht, rustig gelegen. ”
Het is een accommodatie die hoger op het eiland ligt waardoor je een super mooi uitzicht hebt. Het is wel wat verder van het strand, maar aangezien je toch alles met de scooter doet is het helemaal perfect. Zo kun je ook zelf kiezen wanneer je de drukte opzoekt. In de ochtend wakker worden met het uitzicht dat wij hadden was heeel relaxed!! Verder kun je lekker eten in het restaurant. Het personeel spreekt alleen niet zo goed engels. De manager is een beetje stug, waardoor het lijkt alsof ze niet zo aardig is. Maar oordeel niet te snel. Ze bedoelt het wel goed en wanneer je om iets vraagt kan voor je worden geregeld. dat is fijn. Hele fijne tijd gehad.

เศร้า จองห้องแพง เอาห้องถูกมาให้เรา แล้วทำเนียนเงียบไม่บอก เราจองผ่านเวปมันต้องขึ้นในระบบแล้ว ดันมีฝรั่งมาWalk in เลยเอาห้องเราไปขายฝรั่งได้เงินดีกว่า บอกเราตรงๆจะไม่โกรธ แต่นี้เงียบกะกิน 2 ทางเลย พอเห็นห้องนี้จี๊ดขึ้นสมองเลย ต้องเดินไปโวย ถึงได้ส่วนต่างคืนมา ฝ่ายผัวทำหัวหมออีก "ปกติไม่คืนเงินนะครับ" อยากจะเดินไปด่า ทางมึงนะผิดไม่ใช่กูผิด ข้อเสียตามนี้ ข้อดี 1.แม่ครัวทำอาหารอร่อย ตามที่หลายๆคน Comment ถูกต้อง 2.วิวดี ถ้าคุณมาเที่ยวหลายคืน ลองมาพักที่นี้บ้าง ได้วิวมุมสูง ข้อเสียอีกหน่อย ถ้าอยู่ห้องยิ่งสูง น้ำยิ่งเบา ผมอยู่ห้องเบอร์ 9 ต้องปล่อยน้าใส่อ่างล้างหน้าแล้วตัดขวดน้ำเป็นขันอาบ ไม่มี ทีวี ไม่มีแอร์ มีแต่พัดลมครับ
