"Great place to stay - we booked it on a chance as we needed cheap accommodation on a Monday night near to Brixton Academy - it's a short walk from a tube station but on lots of bus routes. The dorm itself was exceptionally clean and had all the essentials - USB plug sockets, modern lighting and design. I personally really liked the wall mounted baskets next to each bed - perfect for storing phone on charge, a bottle of water etc. The staff were all great, and the 10% off drinks 24/7 and 25% off brunch was actually fantastic - we ate all of our meals there and it was good quality home cooked food. Will stay here again for sure! "

"Decent budget accommodation in drab side street near Waterloo/Lambeth North stations and local shops/cafes. Staff civil, efficient and unintrusive. Toilets clean with soap-dispensers, but more sinks would be useful. Breakfast expensive by hostel standards. Including basic toast, cornflakes, coffee etc in the price would ass value/goodwill. I believe no guest kitchen or lounge is provided, with the bar room the only social facility outside dorms. Lockers are available but the cage style makes them vulnerable. Some dorm-sharers were inconsiderate with alarm clocks and prolonged loud chat."

"This is a good option for short stay close to Central London. Most of the places are accessible include underground train, bus and south bank walk. The place has super markets below & behind the hotel. Not good view from the hotel but good location. Well maintained and all basic facilities available. need to confirm the wifi pre-paid, as it is not free. Considering the cost, its good value for money !"

"Pros Location (2 minutes from lambeth north station, 8 minutes from Westminster) Room size and quality is good Pool was very good. My daughter really enjoyed it. Reception had candies and activity books for children, which was great. My daughter always looked forward to the reception when entering the hotel. Cons I feel that the room rate was quite high, upwards of gbp 250 and the facilities overall were not commensurate with this high rate. Housekeeping was sometimes only average "

"We stayed at the Belgrave for a gig at the Brixton O2 Academy. The hotel is located near the Oval tube station and there is free street parking on the weekend. We took a walk into Brixton which is about 1.5 miles away but decided to use taxis in the evening which reception helped us to book. We won't hesitate to book The Belgrave again when visiting London!"

"The suite was well appointed with modern design and new furniture. A Nespresso coffee machine was provided in the small kitchenette. We were most impressed with all the staff at the reception. They were always pleasant and helpful. Location wise, it takes about 6 minutes walk through a park from Vauxhall station. The area is ok but there are many restaurants around. Breakfast which was included in the room rate was adequate and tasty. Cleanliness can be improved in the bathroom as there was yellowish stain in the toilet bowl and some black stain on the sealant in the shower stand. "
