This was a great hotel, up a little side street away from the noise but 2 mins walk to the main hussle and bussle. Main guy at reception was so helpful taking time toshow us a map of ho chi minh and its attractions. Rooms weredecemt size but our bed sheets were quite dirty so i ended up sleeping in my sleeping bag ontop of the bed. Only complaint though everything else was great about the hotel and i would stay again.

Top location, nice rooms and friendly owner”
the hotel is located in a small side street in the heart of district 1. a bit challenging to find the hotel the first time but very quite but still central. the rooms are newly renovated and very nice. even a small balcony in most of the rooms. the room was clean and with a/c. the family running the guesthouse/hotel was very keen on helping and making it a pleasant stay. they speak fairly good english. all in all, definitively a place i would stay again.

Great little hotel in central location ”
really enjoyed my stay in this hotel as it's so close to the backpacker street in central location but so quite in the evening down the side street. room was spacious and clean with simple deco. shower was good and ac was really efficient! the owners were so friendly and sorted out everything for me in the last minute. they give me a big bottle water for free for my next trip plus two bananas. it was small but one on the road does not often find such gestures easily. overall i will definitely stay this hotel again if i ever go back to saigon.

Great Location but small room”
the hotel is near to the sinh tourist office. the hotel is managed by couple, they are the receiption. i think it's not a hotel but mostly like a guest house. it's located on the small road. a little bit hard to find the hotel, because ho chi minh is too crowded with buildings.

Nice, friendly and central ”
We used this hotel as a base for a short transit stay to Ho Chi Minh and it served its purpose well. We weren't thrilled by the cleanliness as there were piles of stuff everywhere and there seemed to be a layer of dust around, however it was secure, beds OK and we were able to get to all the major attractions relatively quickly, Walking out of the laneway the Hotel is located on brought us to the real tourist centre of town so food, mini-marts and so on were readily available.

Excellent value hotel option”
Located in the heart of the backpacker district and at a very fair price. The owners are very kind and amicable with all and can provide you with a great deal of assistance for most matters. The room is quite small, but it is well looked after and comfortable. I will be staying there again in the future.

Perfect position to go around”
It was curious to see the difference between the big streets and the small street the hotel is in. The room has ok, good for the price and the personnel was kind and booked for us a perfect tour to Cao Dai and Cu Chi tunnels!

Best value for money”
Advantages: -The hotel is just like the common hotel for backpacker around the area. but it stands higher because it's cheap. -even for the standard/single room it has queen size bed. -the room is clean, the bathroom is also clean. -the location is very much strategic. it's near to everywhere. -the owners are very nice, they will always smile,greet & give good recommendations to you. -to avoid losing the key, the owner will keep the room key for you. Disadvantages: -I think it's normal there that they don't provide mineral water. -unfortunately they don't sweep the floor, only clean the trash bin. -it's normal to find the 4storey hotel without elevator, so if you get the 4th level room good luck! Suggestions: -try to explore the alleys, try some street food. do not always go to the mainstream food,places. sometimes you can get cheaper food,massage parlor, milkshakes in the alleys. -do not go for the tour by online travel agent. the tour fee from the hotel is always cheaper or you can compare the travel agencies which are a lot.

Great location and comfortable hotel”
Enjoyed our 6 nights here. The hotel is well located down a quiet little alleyway in the heart of the tourist area of HCMC. While our room (102) was small (no good for really big bags I would suggest) it was clean and comfortable. Wifi was very quick and the hot shower was the best I have had in ages for both temp and pressure. Across the alley is a great cheap restaurant with local fare that was tasty and well priced. The owners of the hotel speak enough English to make it easy to get advice and were easy going and friendly. Even having to let get up to let us back in at midnight or 2am was not a problem. Great security and felt very comfortable and safe. Would highly recommend this place. It is not super luxury but it is good value and in a great spot.

Good backpackers hotel for Muslim travellers”
as a muslim, the room has ample space for praying. no dogs in the hotel. clean toilets with pipe, pail and hot shower. cheap tour bought from here: chu chi only $4, and mekong 1 day tour only $8! overall, my friend and i love this hotel even better than the other 2star hotel nearby ben thanh market. the only part i dont like is the latex bed, the slow wifi and the plugs (safety concern with all the wires). and i got computer worm when connecting my android to the computer there.

Nice little hotel close to bars”
very friendly owners. good room, nice bed, shower. quite cheap. quiet room. down a very active alleyway with lots of restaurants and pubs. very close to the main tourist street.will stay there again next time i go to saigon.

Great location in Pham Ngu Lau, down cool little ally way. Very friendly family run affair, excellent value for the money and meticulously clean. Made our stay in Saigon very comfortable. Would recommend every time.

place in the centrum of sajgon. very close to food district, and walking distance to the rest of sajgon attractions. both owners were extremely friendly, and helpful. room was small, but enough for good night sleep. two computers downstairs for using for free. owner also helped us with booking bus tickets and tour tickets.

Hotel owner was really nice, spoke great English, helped us get our bus tickets in order, and was just genuinely really helpful. He and his staff were super nice. The room was clean, and the shower was hot :) For the price, I think it's a great value

Perfect for backpackers and solo travelers like myself. If you want to see the city, this is one of the best budget hotels you can check in. The owners are extra helpful and looks after their guests' welfare while in the city.

I stayed only for one night, but even still the owners and their niece helped me so much and basically mapped out my day! they booked my bus straight away for phnom penh and changed my dollars for me. the staff really were so nice! the room was great, such good value for money!! and such a great location, bus stop was at the top of the alley! and if you turn right out of the hotel, you are where all the bars and restaurants are.. perfect :-) the harbour, cheap market, designer stores as well as all the tourist attractions such as the peoples committee building, palace, notre dame cathedral and opera house are within 10 mins walk! they also gave me tangerines for my bus ride!

Comfortable enough with friendly staff. ”
The hotel isn't the easiest to find as it is down an alley off the main road. We walked from another hotel in the district and so it may be a little easier to find if arriving by taxi. The couple are lovely (if you do have any questions the man speaks better English). The alley is opposite a park and is within walking distance from most tourist attractions. Our room had a small glazed window near the ceiling onto an alley and so it didn't really serve any purpose and did not let in much natural light (it was described as a window with no view). Overall the place was clean and comfy. Trip and bus tickets are sold at the desk, although we don't recommend the night buses.

Clean and comfortable”
Very clean room and hotel itself(since you have to take off shoes at the front door. The owner couple are also very helpful too. The bathroom is also clean too, with stable hot water and good water pressure. The room is not large, but for budget traveler is enough. TV and fridge are also usable. Wifi speed OK. The only thing is that they dunt offer breakfast but you could find some nice vendor in the alley to have traditional Vietnamese breakfast. The hotel location is in a small alley of central Pham Ngu Lao area, it may be a little bit hard to find when you firstly arrived HCMC.

Fantastic, lovely owners. I had the smallest room, but! May be small, but great, also has its own outside balcony area!!! Its a must for any traveler.. I got a great deal through Agodo.. Location great 5steps outside, you have traditional Vietnamese foods on hand!

The owner who also serves as the receptionist is very friendly and accommodating. He even coached us how to explore the key spots of Saigon by foot!. Lots of tourists also in the area, the neighborhood is very lively.
