Nice place!”
Beautiful room but I think drainage system in bathroom need for maintenance. Nice staff, they are really friendly (^~^). Nice place with a lot of big trees that they treat it well. I’m ok with breakfast but I think they can make it better. Anyway my family’s enjoy to stay here. PS. To staff: Thank you very much and see you again in my next Lampang trip (^~^)/.

Good but a bit disappointed”
Booked for one night, overall OK but a bit disappointed on a few points. Booked two rooms, the staff showed us one room and pointed out the other one but the path to go there was not really obvious and you had to walk around quite a bit...we thought he could have walked my parents to the room himself. Went into town and came back at night to find that the electricty shut off everywhere. No lights, no AC really for 2 hours. We went to the restaurant area, got some drinks and when we left to go back to our rooms we were almost chased by the staff to pay the bill on the spot. As I said nothing majorly wrong but it's all about small annoying things that do make a difference in your stay.

2 night stay in Febraury”
I would recommend this resort but not for more than a couple of nights. My partner and I stayed at this resort as part of a larger wedding party having previously spent a week in Chiang Mai. This hotel resort complex was exactly as other reviews had lead us to believe. The grounds are stunning and it is a great jungle getaway but it is a long way from Lampang unless you have a car. Some othe members of our party flagged a yellow truck taxi on the nearby highway (which you can't hear or see from the resort! Amazing) one morning at rush hour but they waited 15 minutes. Booking a superior room is highly advised as they are stand alone chalets. Our deluxe room was part of a terrace of chalets and you really can hear everything your neighbours say and do. The beds were very comfortable and a little air con makes the temperature just cool enough to be able to snuggle up in the duvet. The room was also quite small and the storage space wasn't well optimized. We were impressed with the size of the big open shower and we had no complaints about the cleanliness of the room and grounds. Staff were friendly whenever we encountered them but the resort is quite big with windy paths and the pool is the opposite side to reception and the bar and was mostly unmanned. I expect this is the best place to stay in the vicinity of Lampang but by Thai standards it isn't cheap. The cost of beer is almost double that of Chiang Mai bars and although I can appreciate the grounds and pool need a lot of maintenance, we did get the impression that they knew they were the best and could charge us as such without putting too much effort in. We would recommend not to bill anything to your room, take lots of cash. Some of our party were overcharged at checkout.

Amazing park and nice pool”
Good: the hotel is in a forest, very very nice, small paths and wooden bridges, kids and parents both loved. Breakfast is excellent. The pool has a great view. Staff is lovely. Rooms are wooden houses, quite big. Less good: rooms are a bit old, the bathrooms not at the standards of this hotel. Sometimes the pool is a bit noisy with the highway nearby but generally it's ok. We will come again if we return to Lampang with kids.

Nice and quiet hotel”
This hotel is located in the middle of nowhere which we love it as it is out of the town somewhere near the river. There is this suspension bridge which is a little scary for us to cross over to have our morning breakfast. The suspension bridge which link us to the restaurant is actually quite cool! You may also expected to meet some duck and peacocks walking around the hotel to greet you. Those who loves nature will surely love this hotel.

Surrounded by nature & noise”
Place is very attractive by its location and nature. Indeed it is a green and wood housed place. Unfortunately, all charm was gone as instead of hearing birds we hear since 6am cars and motorcycles. I woke up every day before 6am. Staff warmness was not enough as we ask for a room change and they claimed that the hotel has no other rooms available. I don't recommend to stay in this hotel

beautiful set up, but in need of renovation ”
The surrounding gardens are absolutely beautiful and so is the swimming pool. However the cabins smelled of dampness, walls needed new paint or new tiles and personally i think the walls between the cabins need to be redone. We had a 60cm long gap in the wall through which we could see and hear the neighbours. In the restaurant we ordered a salad and were given soup. The staff didn't speak enough english to understand or handle our complaint about that.

Good but money-grabbing”
This is a spectacularly beautiful spot, surrounded by nature. The pool is fantastic. Rooms (we were in a superior) are pretty basic but comfortable. However, the whole experience is tainted by the hotel trying to grab money at every opportunity. Dinner buffet is 600 baht each, which is extraordinarily expensive by Thai standards, and the food is less than ordinary. So if youre wise you'll head in to Lampang, which is 10km away, for something to eat. (Go to Aroy One Baht, the food is amazing, feast for 2 with drinks less than 350 baht). And here's the rub. The hotel are in cohorts with the local taxi co and have an arrangement where they call the taxi for you, inform the driver to switch off the meter and charge you a hugely inflated & fixed 400baht each way. In exchange for this robbery, the taxi driver actually pays the hotel staff cash - call it sharing the spoils. We saw the money changing hands ourselves. Hence the hotel fleece you whether you stay to eat there or go in to town. But unless you speak thai, youre not in much of a position to do anything about it. Bike rental is also 100 baht for half a day. Again, outrageous by thai standards. So despite it actually being a nice place to stay, you'll leave here feeling like youve been fleeced. It certainly left a bad taste in my mouth and i couldnt recommend staying here to anyone.
