Staff were absolutely lovely! They catered to my gluten free diet, they made me gluten free pancakes every morning, the best location just a 5 minute walk down the river to the old town. Will definitely recommend and would 100% return here again. Thankyou.
Hoi An stay”
Fantastic Villa to stay in, the staff were super friendly and helpful. The pool was a lot smaller than the photos, but then they all take their shots of things with a wide angle lenses, as per most of the world. The breakfast was cooked to order. But beware of sauces if your allergic to MSG(621), as it is in Soy & Tomato sauces. 😎😎😎😎
Good and quiet place”
Lana villa is run by family business and the 2 sisters are well in taking care of their customers who stay in their place. When we stay there the place was having some renovation work done. The breakfast is order to made but non buffet style. The portion could be a bit too little for me. The room was good and spacious, however the housekeeping needed to be improved as the floor seems never mopped. I can feel the dust sticking to my feet when I walk bare foot. May be that’s why they provide you the slipper before you go to the room. The place is about 10 mins walk to old town. Overall is a good stay
Lovely small hotel ”
Really enjoyed staying here. It’s within walking distance to Old Town (15 mins) yet located far enough away to be quiet and away from the tourists. My room was spacious and bed very comfortable with a balcony. Shower pressure great and the breakfast varied and delicious with fresh fruit every day. You can rent bicycles and scooters directly from the hotel at a fair price. Being on the river was really nice and an early morning walk is a must. Also there is a great Yoga studio 5 mins walk away. Altogether a great place to spend a few days or an extended stay in Hoi An. As a solo female traveller I felt very safe here in the eve. The sisters who run the hotel are very friendly and kind.
The ladies were so nice. But I think there’s much improvement to be made. First, the good: beds are comfortable, sheets clean. Great laundry. Location is 5 mins walking from town. Ladies very helpful with tours. The bad: when I arrived I had to call hotel because no one came to pick me up although I scheduled pickup. Room had dirty walls and dust, floorboard looked as if it had continually been wet from rain. Water came into room. The room smelled of wet wood. While I was there, when I didn’t sleep in and they cleaned room, they never replaced towels, sheet, hand soap or toilet tissue. I had to go downstairs to get some. At times no one there to help. Noise!!!! Crying baby living next door all day. Heard people talk. Construction one day in room under my room at 8:30 am for a few hours. Couldn’t sleep in and they didn’t advise of work. And lots of construction work on street made for lots of noise and dust during the day. Sweet sisters but not worth what I paid for room.
Clean hotel & room. Warmly host”
Just one night stay but i still can feel warmly welcome of the host. Surely next time comeback I'll choose this hotel
Would stay here again!”
This is a family run hotel with exceptional customer service. We were always warmly greeted and breakfast was made to order every day. It was close enough to walk to old Hoi An but far enough away to relax without the noise. The rooms are spacious and well lit. We stayed here for three nights, and would come back again.
The only review you need to read”
I stayed here for 4 nights over Christmas break and let me tell you- this was the BEST hotel experience I have ever had. I have been traveling Asia for 10 years and nothing compares. The hotel is tucked away off the main street, but totally within walking distance. The two ladies who run the place are EXCEPTIONAL. Let me tell you a few stories: I arrived super late at night and they were both awake to greet me. They welcome you to breakfast and personally make all the food- which is outstanding. I needed to extend my stay but there were no rooms left, so she gave me the massive room upstairs for the same price. It was massive. I did Zumba in there- it was huge. They made sure I had a bike every day. I came home VERY drunk one night and the ladies brought me up to my room, tucked me in, and left a glass of water on the bedside table. They made a big Christmas tree with little gifts under it for people. Honestly- don't stay anywhere else. This is the place.
Really cozy with a good breakfast”
Both sisters run the hotel very well. They are always helpful and smile the whole day. Room was spacious and cozy. Great terrace to the river and even when we are in the middle of Hoi an, it was silent. There is only one thing we expected differently, the pool. It is really small, close to the restaurant and street and more or less shadow every time. Good for a quick refresh but not for laying in the sun.
Excellent hotel run by two lovely sisters. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they really added to our experience in Hoi An. Lana Villa is excellently located, just outside of the old town so nice and peaceful but also only a 10 mintue walk away from all the action. Rooms were clean and very comfortable and we had a freshly cooked breakfast every morning which was delicious! We were also able to rent bikes from the hotel and cycled to the beach a couple of times. We enjoyed our time here so much that we extended our stay! :)
Best value in Hoi An!”
Lana Villa exceeded our expectations! It is wonderful little spot and the pool was excellent for an afternoon dip after walking around in the heat. The location is great-- it is close to all the action, but tucked away from noise and crowds. Lana is an incredible host and made sure we had everything that we needed. The breakfast is so delicious, it was hard to believe that it was included with the room-- excellent value! Lana and her mother are amazing cooks! You can also rent motorbikes or bicycles right from the property. We also needed to extend our visas and Lana was so kind to go and do this for us! Thank you again, highly recommend!
Excellent staff, clean, quiet yet central location”
Lana was an excellent host, helping us with everything we needed. From pick up and drop off at the airport and bus station to recommending and booking tours for us. Breakfast was simple yet delicious, fresh fruit, banana pancakes, coffee/tea/juice and one of 5 other options (egg, noodle or rice dishes). There are massage, bicycle and motorbike rental services on site. Also small snack and beverage options for purchase. The location was at the river on one of the ends of old quarter. 5-10 minutes walk or 2-5 minutes cycle to the busier areas. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Best hotel! Amazing experience!”
This place is one of a kind. It is run by Lana, her sister and Mom. They made our stay extra special! It was a special anniversary and she had fresh flowers, rose petals and beautiful towel swans! The breakfast was delicious and she made extra pancakes for my husband every morning! The eco tour she arranged for us was fantastic! Our room was top floor, river view with a balcony! I will be coming back to stay here, also a nice pool to go for a dip! You will love this place and Lana! Thank you for making our stay so lovely!
My favorite hotel in Vietnam!”
From the second you walk into the hotel you are treated like family. Lana & her sister Van are a pleasure to be around. The beds are so comfy, I couldn't believe it. Everything is squeaky clean. Breakfast is a choice of various options - all of them good. You are within walking distance of everything & yet the street is quiet. Lana rents scooters & bicycles as well. I didn't have a massage but wished I had the time. The pool is small but a pleasure after walking all day. You certainly can't beat Lana's Villa's. It's rated exceptional for good reason. I'd give them 10 stars if I could!
The family who runs this villa makes your stay more than it is! They are helpful, friendly, genuine and love what they do. We felt so at home here and could not have asked for better hosts or accommodations. Wish we could stay longer!!! Definitely worth the stay!
Small hotel Central cited - great value for money”
The hotel seems to be run by two sisters who are the most obliging girls I've ever met in my life. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The bed is one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. Beer is cold and cheap. It is difficult to find fault with this place. A rare find. Highly recommended.
Amazing staff and amazing place”
The two sisters at reception are so nice and helpful, they speak really good english (rare in Vietnam), and they cook really good food! The hotel is clean and in a central position, the best place where we had stayied. Thank you for everything!!!
No complains at all. Staff is so friendly and helpfull. Rooms are clean, fresh and have enough space. 5 minutes walk to old town. Peacefull area. Very good coffee! Train and buss tickets, bikes and scooter available, laundry also. Stayed 3 nights, would have been nice to stay few more.
Perfect place in Hoi An”
We was suppose to stay here 3 days, but we loved is so much, that we stayed for 8. We stayed in 2 rooms, because we wanted to stay longer. Both rooms was so nice and clean, and had a great view to the river. You can walk to the old town in 5 minutes, and the place is perfect, because you are near to everything and still away from the noice from the town. Every morning Lana and her sister cooked breakfast for us, very nice breakfast. When we arrived Lana was telling about things to do, and that was very helpful. If we ever is going to Hoi An again, we will for sure stay with Lana.
Relaxing time with wonderful hospitaliy”
We spent 3 nights at Lana Villa it was our favorite stay in Vietnam so far! We absolutely loved our room, the breakfast and the hospitality offered by the two sisters running the place. We also were able to rent a motorbike and cycles for a good price.
