Lovely quiet resort in Koh Lanta
This place is ideal if you are looking for peace and quiet. If you want to party and stuff then you'd better off to a place further north on the island. Bungalows are simple but clean. Food at the restaurant there is very good and also cheap compared to other resorts. The drawback is the beach which, although it is beautiful, is full of rocks pretty much all the time since the tide is low most of the day. When the tide is high the current is pretty strong so perhaps it's not the best place to swim there with kids. However you can rent a scooter and go to the next beach which is nice and full of good restaurants. Finally the owner and his staff were friendly and helpful.

Secluded area of the island
Stayed for a few days in the bamboo hut fan room, and loved it. I didn't venture out to see the rest of the island, but you could rent motorbikes if you wanted. The food at the restaurant was so-so, but it was a nice way to spend a few days on a private beach with its own bar, hammocks, and outdoor massage place. You're definitely far from the main towns and nightlife, but if you want to just chill, then it's perfect.

Better avoid the bamboo bungalows
Calm location, though a bit off from the village. Hammocks & sea views.
Food is so so. Better opt for (more expensive) bungalows other than the bamboo bungalows. Their bathrooms have no windows, the sinks / drains no traps. Thus strong smell in the (bath)room.

Nice garden
Garden / beach / bar
Perfect for people like us who doesn't want the "party nightlife" from lanta. Very nice place to see the sunset with a good drink in your hand and GOOD music (rare in Thailand where you usually get the actual bad charts). We enjoyed cocktails with 70's Rock and 90's soft electro! The price of the services are the same then the rest of lanta. After a bad bike rental review they had, they make you sign a real contract and look carefully at the bike with you before you take it (what's unusual in Thailand). We enjoyed the whole stay there.

Best Stay on Koh Lanta
Location, Excellent Staff, and Great Room
Having not stayed anywhere else on the island, and therefore having no real evidence to back this claim up, I would say that this is the best and nicest place to stay on Koh Lanta. The staff were excellent and willing to help with anything you needed, including booking island excursions. The food at the restaurant was really good, and the bar was relaxed. We stayed four nights in a fan bungalow, which was very clean and well kept. The best part of the resort is, of course, the location, which is very natural and right on the beach. I would highly recommend this place for anyone.

My Lovely Lanta
1. Right in the beach 2.away from the hustle & bustle 3.very accommodating staff to any/all requests I had
Magnificent & just what I needed. Quiet, yet not far away from all the goings on around, yet far enough that I felt like I was on a secluded island. If you're looking for bamboo hut living, with the beach & nature at your doorstep then here's the place. You can book your trips like snorkeling, bikes, scooba diving & other trips directly from the resort staff. The food was great & the staff were too. There's even wi-fi so you don't feel totally cut off, however at times it was nice to feel totally disconnected. If this or any of what I have mentioned grabs your attention, go ahead book now. They're rated as a 2 star place, I personally feel it to be underrated. You'll get used to the non heated showers in no time ;)

Thai home
friendly staff, clean environment and perfect food
We stayed there for five days and felt in love with this place so much tthat we had to come back at least for the last day of our stay in Thailand and it was like coming home! Although the beach at the resort is not very good there are other beautiful beaches not far to go and easily accessible. the best thing about this place is its friendly and helpful staff and their willingness to help. Also their cousine was one the best we've experienced in Thailand. Definitely worth going!

nice location next to the beach
great location, nice food, relaxing beach bar
We payed 15€ for one night in a bamboo bungalow. The standard was low, cold water,no flush for the toilet, nothing special, but sourrounded by nice nature and directly at the beach. We did not expect more quality for the low price. So it was ok. There is a nice restaurant and a bar next to the beach. You can also book massages and they offer a laundry service. Location is great, its in the south away from the main tourist area. If you rent a scooter, take a ride along the south coast, there are many nice silent beaches with white sand, blue water and relaxing beach bars. The staff is ok,some are not friendly. There is one cool guy working in the restaurant who speaks good English and will assist you with everything. The staff from the beach bar and massage is also really friendly. !!!!! Take care when renting a scooter at the resort ,make pictures before. We got a very old scooter for 4 days and 30min before our pickup to krabi arrived, they told us that we crashed it. They wanted to have 1000baht. We had no time to discuss, although they had poor English skills. Our pickup was waiting and we wanted to avoid further trouble,so we just gave them 500baht and left!!!!!!! Unfortunately a very negative last perception, as the 4days stay was very nice.

Great value
Great setting, helpful and friendly staff, good food
Simple bungalows in a lovely garden setting next to the beach. Not the best beach, but was good to stay somewhere a bit quieter and spacious away from the crowds.
