An average hotel with BEDBUGS”
Although the staff were very kind, there were bedbugs in the bed which were totally unacceptable to me. Tried another room, also with bedbugs and matress not cleaned for a long time. Cleaning was very poor.

Big disappointment”
I was at this resort last Feb too, somehow I expected service and facilities have improved but unfortunately that did not happen. Villas are pretty much okay but everything else has gone down including breakfast, customer service etc. Looks like they try to save in costs but I would advise to improve breakfast quality, better english speaking personnel and so on. Most of the villas seemed to be without customers so expect they are struggling to keep business ongoing.

Poor breakfast, poor customerservice, poor cleaning. On the top of everything member of staff was shooting monkeys in the middle of daylight in the backyard of my villa.

A great resort to escape to on Koh Lanta.”
Located centrally on the west coast, this resort offers guests a welcomed sanctuary - a short walk from the baking beches of Lanta - with views out over the palm fringed beach and beyond. From the comfort of the cool infinity pool or the kuxury of the jacuzee pool, you'll find yourself with absoulutely no reasons to leave, and every need to stay. The manageresses (a cosmopolitan Bangkokian) is on call and is driven to deliver exceptional service. We had a great vacation and recognize Lanta Lapaya Resort as a gem in Pants.

Two words that sum up our stay at Lanta Lapaya: Beautiful and friendly.”
The best part of our stay here was by far the amazing customer service. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable during our stay. The resort was beautiful though not right on the beach which could be a pro or con depending on what you're looking for. It's quieter being further away but you dont get to wake up looking out over the ocean. Either way its a short walk, under five minutes so not a big deal. While you do pay a premium for the expertise of the staff it is still far from the most expensive place on Koh Lanta and we think it was well worth the money. In all it was our favorite place we stayed during the entire month we spent traveling through Thailand.

Very new resort, but not completely finished yet”
The Lanta Lapaya Resort has a great chance to become a 4-Star-Hotel, but now it is not finished yet. There are still some working areas left and the restaurant/kitchen hasn't started, sothat we had to go into a nearby bar to get our breakfast. It was not a problem for us, but it should be mentioned here. You have to go about ten minutes to the Klong Kong Beach with many sweet bars. Swimming there is not comfortable because of the stones and the cliffs. So we always went to Klong Nin Beach by motorbike some kilometres away. I think, the resort will become better by the time, when everything will be totally finished.

Nice rooms and beautiful pool”
Nothing to complain about at all which is rare in Thailand. Was pleasantly surprised from check in to breakfast to ease of renting scooters and our boat ride back to phuket. Definitely recommend this hotel as well as Koh Lanta.

Relaxing and comfortable”
We went there in the low season. Quiet, relaxing and good value for money. The bungalow have enough space around them to give a sense of privacy even if it would be fully booked. We had the large swimming pool mostly for ourselves. The pool was opened until late in the evening. 22:00 if I remember correctly. Bungalows were new and finished. Comfortable bed. My clumsy self managed to get injured by the bedframe though. Clean. Some baby gecko equally clumsy ended up in the sink sometimes and needed a hand in escaping :) Staff friendly and always accommodating. No beach for swimming nearby and the area was a bit boring compared to other parts of Ko Lanta. But easy enough to get around if you rent a scooter. It is possible to do that via the hotel without giving your passport as deposit. I would not recommend it for families with children, but it's a very nice place for couples.

Lovely resort, fantastic staff”
Lapaya is a lovely resort with a great infinity pool and bright and airy bungalows. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, always a smile, made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was great with an a la cart menu, prepared how you asked.

Great staff/location/experience ”
My husband and I spend a lot of time looking through reviews of the best mid range places to stay. This has been our favorite so far on our 6 weeks in Thailand. The resort was VERY clean and the staff went above and beyond with service. The breakfast was perfect for us with many options complimentary. The pool was in a great location and a nice temperature and a short walk to one of the many beaches. There were many beach bars and restaurants nearby. We rented a scooter from the hotel and this was yet another exceptional experience. No passport required and it just so happened our back tire was flat and it was only 100 baht with no problems when we returned the scooter . The hotel arranged transportation and ferry to continue our trip. If you are looking for a great place for a middle budget look no further it was perfect.

1. Helpful and nice staff. They helped us book a mini van, take us to local market, cook, send postcards, etc. 2. The infinity swimming pool! It's very clean with a good view. We love staying in the pool and watching the sunset. 3. Great location. 5 minutes walk to the beach. 4. Great facilities, nice room. The rooms are big, quiet, safe, with almost everything we need. 5. Reasonable price.

This is a new property. It’s all very clean and fresh. Rooms were cleaned each day. If you choose the standard room, it looks as though you’ll be in a duplex like villa/condo. As opposed to a stand alone villa. So you could definitely save some money if you don’t mind sharing one wall. Breakfast was decent. Staff was so nice and helpful. Helped us book tours and ferry. Basically for the same price as you would pay if you booked online. Much easier to go with them though As they call and organize and explain it to you. They had a wedding our last night on the property, so there was a lot of traffic and loud music. It didn’t go late and all guest were invited to the wedding (obligation maybe?) from 6pm-10pm. Location was pretty good. We rented a motor bike from them for about 50 B more than other places. But they did not make us leave our passport which was nice. There’s an amazing vegan/vegetarian place a couple minute walk from them that was INCREDIBLE.

Great stay! ”
This hotel was perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway. We really enjoyed our time here! Super close to the beach and lots of awesome restaurants right there. The breakfast isn't great, probably the only negative part about the stay. Most of it was super cold and appeared old but it does the trick for something small on your way out. They arranged a snorkel trip for us and our transfer to Koh Phangan. The pool is amazing! Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

So friendly hotel!”
Althouth the beach is not so beatiful, the hotel did locate near from the sea with clear and big room,especially the bath room. The staff was so nice and patient to solve our problems. The weakpoints were the breakfast is limited to several choices and there were not various restaurants nearby.
