Cheap, but you get what you pay for”

This place is cheap and no frills. The water is cold, there are lots of ants, the bed is hard, and the wifi only works in the lobby area. The AC worked really well, which kept us pretty comfortable at night. The hotel is on the opposite side of the road from the beach and about a 5-10 minute walk to Long Beach. The one thing we really didn't like about the place was the owner's toddler, who haunted the lobby and was a bit of a terror. It was the only place we could get wifi, so we had to put up with him attacking us with water guns, running his bike into our legs repeatedly, screaming, flipping through the books we were reading and generally being a bit of a pest. It sounds awful since he's just a kid, but it was hard to get anything done and he was always around. The woman who runs it is nice and tries to be helpful, but be aware of booking a diving trip through her as her husband owns Dive and Relax. The snorkel trip she promoted from his shop was much more expensive than the one we ended up booking through another shop, although I believe this could be because hers is a smaller tour group. In any case it's a good idea to shop around. All in all it's fine if you're looking for a cheap place. They also have long term rates.

the staff is really nice and friendly. good location (unless you look for a place on the beach). cheap bike rent and laundry. the bungalow is a little worn out, the mattress old and bumpy. no hot water. wifi was good at the reception but no signal in our bungalow.

If you are looking to party this is not the right place, but if you just want to hang out and relax this is your spot.

Good bungalows with lots of amenities”

This was a good place to stay but slightly far away from beaches and restaurants. The staff were friendly though their English wasn't great so we were unable to book transport from the island through them. We also had to hire a motorbike from them to get around but this is essential anyway as the island is so big and taxis overpriced. The rooms were very hot, and the fan not hugely effective but otherwise the room was comfortable and clean. Had a fridge, hot shower and TV all for 600B per night, which is a decent price for Lanta guesthouses.

Cheap and cheerfull”

this was a budget stay for us on our last 2 days of koh lanta. the room was big and clean enough there was tv and fan was adequate. on the road off from the beach but a bike was bht aday and we had trips booked anyway so that didn't bother us. free wifi even though the signal couldn't be picked up in our room. also laundry was cheap and quick service. it's just a little bit away from too many bars restaurants etc but if your getting a bike to explore the island it's fine.

Olimme varanneet ja maksaneet huoneen etukäteen Lanta Queen Resortista. Saapuessamme paikalle meille kuitenkin ilmoitettiin että kaikki huoneet ovat täynnä. Korvaukseksi meidät vietiin toiseen hotelliin yöksi. Siellä saatiin selville että uusi huone oli 100 bahtia halvempi mitä olimme maksaneet Lanta Queen Resortista. Hyvää bisnestä ylibuukata huoneita ja rahastaa kuskaamalla asiakkaat halvempaan paikkaan.
