Nice place and very nice staff”
I stayed here for 2 nights and the staff were so nice and helpful. The restaurant was usually crowded and the bar always had people in it with a nice atmosphere. It's close to Klong Nin beach, just across the street so you can easily spend time on the beach. I rented a motorbike and drove around the island which was great. From Euro Lanta it's easy to walk to restaurants and bars in the area. The room was clean, the free WiFi was strong and in the room and by the bar. The location was quiet at night. Would definately recommend for a budget traveler who doesn't need to stay right on the beach but wants to be close to it.

Good value”
The hotel is located in a quiet area across the road from Khlong Nin beach and adjacent to a number of small bars and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The have a small travel desk on site and set up day tours and transfers when leaving. The breakfast was cooked to order and a little above average. Rooms were comfortable and worth the price. First time I have been to Koh Lanta so I don't have anything to benchmark against but the value was good compared to Phuket and Phi Phi.

Good location, but the hotel is so so. ”
the location of white rock resort is perfect, if you love to be in a not so touristic part op koh lanta. the klong nin beach is lovely, with good restaurants and quiet. the white rock resort and spa. well i cant' figure out why it is called resort and spa. the bungalows are oke, but not well maintained. the pool is awfull, with only 3 or 4 old and dirty sunbeds. although they say there's a poolbar, there isn't one, but we did saw a peace of paper hang onto a tree with the word 'bar' on it. the breakfast was so bad and looked not clean that we decided not to eat or even have coffee there. lots of flies, old cans for water, not much choice and so on. we loved koh lanta and the klong nin beach, but white rock is just an overpriced garden with bungalows in it. there are defenitely cheaper and nicer bungalows to vind in koh lanta!

Not what we expected”
When we arrived at White Rock we were surprised that we couldn't see the sea, as the photos on the website suggested otherwise. We were also surprised at the standard of the place for the price we paid. While the staff were friendly and accommodating we were interested to learn that there had been a change of owners, This may have effected the expected level of cleanliness and the operations of the business. The swimming pool was filthy and we had problems with our amenities. However, the staff did move us to a new room, when these problems arose. The breakfast was poor and therefore we choose not to eat there. Overall we enjoyed our stay but we believe that it is worth half the price we paid for it. Word of advise when you book a room, choose a garden suite it's less expensive and bigger than a deluxe room...not sure how this works but that's the way it is.

Lovely hotel, great location”
This is a great hotel just a short walk over the road from the beach. Rooms are very nice and extremely clean. There is very little soundproofing but it is generally a quiet and peaceful place. Couldn't see much difference between deluxe and standard rooms except the decor - deluxe was very nice though.

Nice room great location”
We were given the beach house overlooking the ocean. The room was large, clean and comfortable and was right next to the ocean. The staff were incredibly friendly and couldn't do enough for us, they even served us breakfast an hour and a half after breakfast ended.

Decent place, but really far from everything”
We ended up not using the room, mostly because it was extremely far from everything (half an hour taxi ride to the nice beach further north). I can't remember the name of it, but it's the one close to Saladan (Klong Dao?) The bed was also extremely hard, and they could not offer a double bed. The beds can not be moved together because the posts extend too far, leaving a gap between the bed. If you are OK sleeping on separate beds, that should be no problem for you. The bathroom was a bit dodgy. If you are used to hostels and low budget traveling in Thailand, you should be fine with this. We usually stay at nicer places (though not really high end), and this was a bit dirtier and less comfy than what we are comfortable with.

This is a low budget place but not low budget price. Perhaps prices were just up for Christmas but for sure a hostel like low budget place. No room cleaning in five days. Had to ask for water and toilet paper each day. Pool is good size an clean enough. Chairs are old and stained wih no cushions Toilet at the pool does not have a door Breakfast is edible but not great Room is basic. Needs hooks I hang towels Okay low budget place as long as pice matches

Very pleasant stay and staff v helpful. Even better if.... there was a buffet breakfast (choice a bit limited); the rooms were a bit more private as had to keep curtais closed at all times; water in pool was a bit cleaner.

Somewhat disappointing”
Not what we expected. It is hardly a "resort" as the only facilities consist of a reception area, a swimming pool. There is a bar and small restaurant, both largely unused except at breakfast. Breakfasts were very good. We had issues with the room safe which neither we nor the hotel staff could operate. The wash hand basin drain was partially blocked and leaked onto the bathroom floor. Hotel staff fixed the blockage but not the leak. We were offered an alternative room but the air conditioning did not function so returned to the original room and were offered a free meal and drink by way of compensation.

Tranquille et bien situé”
L'hôtel est bien situé, proche plage et restos de klong nin. Personnel très souriant Et accueillant. Les chambres sont un peu vétustes, et la chambre n'a été nettoyée qu'une seule fois en 8 jours (veille du départ) après avoir demandé plusieurs fois. Dommage pour ce petit couac.

Séjour parfait, l'accueil est amical, les bungalows sont spacieux espaces, très propres. Dans un beau jardin. Juste une rue tranquille à traverser et c'est la belle plage de khlong Nin. Sinon une belle piscine très grande et ensoleillée , nous attends au bout du jardin. Nous y retournerons.

Très beau cadre mais personne à la réception...”
Le cadre est très beau et à proximité de la plage. Par contre il y avait plein de fourmis dans la salle de bain et une forte odeur d'humidité dans la chambre. L'autre problème c'est que c'était très difficile de voir quelqu'un à la réception ce qui est assez pénible quand on a besoin de quelque chose.

Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und die Hütten sauber. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt dort. Jedoch am besten ohne Frühstück buchen da das nur aus 2 Scheiben toast mit butter besteht
