Great hotel near bus station for Sapa and HaNoi”

A really great hotel, tucked in a side street near the bus station. IF you are traveling to SaPa using the new expressway from HaNoi, this place can't be beat. Quite attractive hotel, but not the easiest to find if using Google Maps. A busy hotel with conference space (but not lots of motorbike parking available). Room was clean, solid wifi available in rooms. Only downside I could find is that when you shower, the entire floor of the bathroom ends up being wet (even though it is an enclosed shower). For 20 USD a night.. wow. In SaiGon, they would have charged us 75 USD plus. This hotel is worth the effort to locate by asking directions.

No english speaking personnel”

Bed bugs (seriously bites on my arm), airconditioning didn't work, boiler wasn't turned on, so cold showers. Nobody spoke English (not 1 word). Wood termites ('kloptor' in Dutch) were eating at the wood at night, which kept us awake (besides the blistering heat). The western breakfast was not good (wet eggwhite with one crushed baguette). In short: I would not recommend a stay at Galaxy or Lao Cai City (just for travel through to Sapa or Bac Ha)

New build hotel, very generously big rooms”

Rooms huge, nice view on river with big windows. Large good and new beds, room with big fridge and ice compatements. Manager very helpful, staff dont't speak hardly english but very nice. a very good deal!

Last time staying was great, so I reserved this time as well It was written that there is free water in the guide of Agoda When I asked which water in the refrigerator in the room was free, I was told that everything was charged. The conclusion is that it is a rule to put two free water outside the refrigerator, but did not do it Breakfast is written as free and where is the breakfast venue for reception? As I asked, I was told that I could eat at an outside restaurant, the reception did not know breakfast free All the conversations with the reception went while displaying Vietnamese using Google translation It is a hotel close to SAPA and the railway station so I want the permanent staff to understand English Since the guidebook is also written in Vietnamese language, we abandoned the use of cleaning service

A good solid performance. A good business standard hotel. It does its stuff adequately. Within 600m of the Railway station and 200m from the local bus station. Breakfast merely OK but nothing bad. I liked the drip coffee. The staff tried to help despite my lack of Vietnamese. English spoken. Worth 7.5 points

Communication was difficult at this hotel and the restarant they ran because no one spoke English. Close to transportation routes but across the river from any interesting part of town. Great spot if you are only passing through briefly.

For people speaking vietnamese a good place”

Only one night. That was ok. I had a very spacious suite. Bathroom clean. Big fridge - but nearly empty. The staff at daytime speaks poorly english. The night staff no english at all. Breakfast is ok if you choose the Pho Ga (vietnamese noodle soup). Tables not too clean. Positiv: Only a short walk from the bus station. Definitely a place where you can stay comming or going to/from Hanoi by bus

Bon séjour pour une étape d'une nuit. Le point négatif est que le personnel ne parle pas anglais. Le personnel pour le petit déjeuner n'est pas aimable et ne comprends rien du tout et le service est très lent. Il fait très froid dans la grande salle où est servi le petit déjeuner.

… zwei Zimmer, Schlafzimmer und Wohnzimmer für überzeugenden Preis. Ruhige Lage unweit des Bahnhofs, wo es Restaurants gibt und alle Busse verkehren. Ansonsten auch guter Ausgangspunkt für Spaziergänge durch die Stadt.
