pure nature”
It is a very nice beach with big trees behind and great surrounding. Unfortunately we could do only a little swimming, kayaking, or snorkeling because of wind and waves; this may happen. Meals are buffet style, quality is good enough. Getting there is expensive! Best is to stay a few days at Koh Libong and arrange the boat from there. At Hat Yao it will cost 3000 Baht (though on a board 2800 are written), from Libong you get it for 2000 or less. Hat Samran is mentioned at the resorts homepage, but no Thai seemed to know it on the islands near Laoliang. You still can go back via Hat Samran from Laoliang th Trang for 800 Baht per person.

The only accommodation available in Laoliang beach”
We had a really lovely stay at Laoliang Beach Resort. This is the only accommodation available in Laoliang Island. So it’s a little pricey. But it’s worthy because this island is really beautiful. The great thing is that there is a limited number of people who could stay in the resort so the beach will never be too crowded. Very friendly staff. A lot of mosquitos but there’s nothing resort could do more. All tents have no air-cond so it can be very hot in the night but it’s also cool to listen to the sea sound. Overall, this is a nice place to stay and I totally recommend this place.

Beautiful getaway”
The island is very small and secluded. The sorroundings are stunning and if you are into peace and quiet, Laoliang is the perfect spot. We rentet a kayak and went to the twin island just 20 minutes kayaking away. It is so beautiful and worth checking out. Beware that there are a lot of mosquitos.

Beautiful, secluded beach. Great romantic couple getaway”
Great rock climbing on site (bring your gear, ideally). Tents and beds are clean and comfortable. Staff is excellent, as well as food! Overall, pricey by Thai standards, but well worth it if you're looking for that secluded island to yourselves (more or less- there were only 4 other couples there during our stay.) Make sure to catch the bus that leaves Sri Trang hotel at 10AM to transport to the boat ride that they provide (for 1600 Thai Bhat/person round trip.)

we loved it”
Do you want to skip the crud then this is a great place to go. Great beach for swimming. the toilets where fine, and showers fine. Food was really nice. It dosent got to warm in the tents as they can be opened both at front and back, when sleeping. And there is a fan in the tent...

Wonderful Island on Earth”
Loaliang Island is such a wonderful destination on earth, we can enjoy with snorkeling just in front of our Tent that very beautiful and impressed. The resort itself is ok but the staff need more attention to the guest, anyway they all are friendly. The facilities need maintenance as worn out. The food is ok but not value for the price paid.

Dissapointed”
Isolated one stretch of beach with many tents and people. The stuff is not helpful and does not explain what possibilities the island offer e.g.. lady at the reception told us to snorkel only within marked areas on one island otherwise it is dangerous. And thats correct, there are currents between the islands and its not good to swim to the other island. But she also do not inform about fantastic corals on the other island, you need to take overpriced kayak which is 200 thb/hour, fortunately negotiated to 500thb/6hours. The climbing activities they have, even booked in advance, they do not show up, irritating People who booked had to pay cash, if they did not have cash the lady was taking people to Trang for half day, ridiculous! The food was not tasty, the breakfast was ok. I recommend to start lunch and dinner exactly when they serve otherwise it is cold!!! The toilet is smelly piss all the time From 3-4pm there is already a shadow at the beach, no sun any more The boats organised by Laoliang is at least double the price comparing what you can get when you call resorts in Libong and Sokurn, this is what we've done The stay is generally overpriced, I thought to spend time with family atmosphere having bbqs in the evenings, being well taken care of etc. It was not worth the money.

Wow wow wow”
Beautiful location, beautiful beach, so secluded and private you feel like you’ve stepped into an episode of Lost. Beware though - all the food they serve has seafood in it! And bring snacks if you’re a snacker, there are none on the island

Too expensive for what you get”
We payed 90 euros night because some people recomended us and we decided to give it a chance. The placebeach of white sand oriented to sunrise, some coral and some walls for climbing with around 20 routes. The resort is around 10 camping tents with double mats inside and a fan with some plugs. You get breakfast, lunch and dinner and electricity from 18h to 6h. The toilets and showers are common like in a camping PROS: The place is very quiet, we were like 6 people in the beach. Decent snorkeling. If you are a climber like us you can do some interesting routes and will probably have the place just for you.The personal is really kind. CONS: For that price you spect to get something quite exclusive and being in a resort of a certain quality. but it is not. Looks like some one wanted to build something special there but finally abandoned it and the place needs a lot of maintenance works. Trash around the beach. The food was the worst we had in Thailand.

Value for the view”
This place was amazing. The view and variety of activities made it totally worth what I paid. Beds were uncomfortable and the bathrooms were kind of rundown. There was only one English speaking staff member. It was a real authentic Thai experience. Highly recommended.

Best-before-date past long time ago”
Lovely Place but filthy sand between the tents because they burned most of the leaves from the trees directly on the ground. Nice breakfast but lunch and dinner was very poor. They have not cleaned the toilet- and shower area for months. NO WIFI even if it is said so by Agoda.

estancia lluviosa”
