10/10! 👏 It’s simply AMAZING! It is blessed with beautiful natural sceneries and views.”
Las cabanas beach resort is the best place to stay in El Nido. If you’re looking for the best beachfront and sunset view, calm and peaceful place to stay, environmental friendly, this is really perfect for you. The room was clean and with enough space, all of the staffs were kind, trustworthy and friendly, and they got the best food in their restaurant (I swear!). We stayed 4days and 3nights, we didn’t go to other restaurants because we are satisfied with the service and the taste of the food because they got international cuisine, we want to try all their food. You get what you paid for and it’s all worthy. I will definitely go back in this place in the future and would really recommend to all. Kudos to all Tita Beng and all the staff of Las cabanas beach resort. Thank you, we really had fun and really memorable! You’re the BEST!!! Keep up the good work!!!!! 👏👏👏
Hello Joie, that you enjoyed your stay is very encouraging to us all and we look forward to seeing you again some day.
Home away from home”
This place has great food! Staffs are friendly and they are very accommodating. The ambiance of the place relieves you from the noise and stress of the city, thanks to its natural landscape and decorations. We also liked how the place is well cleaned and maintained. Although a little bit of walking is involved to reach the nearest transportation, the effort is worth it because of the scenery.
Great stay at Las Cabanas!”
Lovely resort. Fabulous service. Internet sketchy and only available in lobby. Great breakfasts that were included. Cool geckos outside rooms. Super quiet area. Right on the beach. The only con is that there’s no hot water from the taps or shower, so you can request a few thermoses of boiling water which you put in a bucket by the shower and you use a plastic saucepan to douse yourself. We booked a private boat tour which was a combo of trips A and C and one loc from D (we had the choice of which locations we wanted). Tour included an awesome lunch. It took 4 of us for 8,500 pesos. All was arranged by Bambi at the resort. Oh, one more con...they don’t take credit cards due to bad internet so bring cash! PS: I highly recommend the margarita...it was out of this world!
The owner and the staffs are very accommodating. The place are very clean and we enjoyed our stay in the cabins even without the air condition.
Best sunset in Las Cabanas Beach. Friendly staff.Would love to come back”
We stayed here as a couple for 6 days. We love it, and would definitely come back. Before booking, read everything on the info page in their website so you know what to expect. The whole area is still developing so don’t expect all your home comforts. Smooth, stable internet and TV connections are not available. It is such a fantastic spot to stay though, you definitely do not miss them. We stayed in January so there was a cool breeze, and the fan room was perfectly fine.Rooms were cleaned everyday, towels changed, and thermos bottles provided on request for hot showers. The location itself has a very nice view of the beach. You step out of your room and can immediately see the water. Within 20 steps you are at one of the most popular places in the area for drinks and sunsets. A few more steps and you are right on the beach or in the water. Staff are friendly and very accommodating. Overall a great place to get away and relax.
Idyllic location to relax and unwind ”
The staff are amazing and go as far as possible to make sure you have a lovely stay. Hazel and her daughter Jazel were just so kind. Vicky also made sure the drinks just kept in coming. Food was also great. Thank you all so much.
Beautiful location, Lovely staff and good food!”
The Las Cabañas family could not be more accommodating! Everyone was so friendly, Hazel was an amazing host and Vicky, Bambie and all the other staff were attentive and super fun! The location is beautiful and the sunsets are gorgeous! It's a little bit of a trek to get to with all your luggage as it's right at the end of the beach with no direct paths so if arriving at night you'll need a torch! The accommodation is basic, no hot running water, although you can get some on request. We stayed in the garden cottage and it was very comfortable, I did need ear plugs at first due to the wildlife noises but soon got used to it. The food is really good.. a little more expensive than places in town but expected due to the location. Overall we had a great stay and can't thank Hazel and the team enough for making it such a pleasurable stay! We were very sad to leave! x
this was the most beautiful beach I have seen and so much to do here. we enjoyed playing on the beach and watching the people go across the zip line. great staff and great food. the only disappointment was the room since no AC or TV for the kids to watch.
Three day stay.”
This is a difficult hotel to review. CONS: Internet was often not working,, and then only in the common area not the rooms....when the internet was working it was so slow it was unusable...Yes you can argue.why be on the internet at all on vacation in a place as beautiful as El Nido.! Secondly the rooms were not air-conditioned, but I knew this going in..so thats on me. LOTS of dogs around...that could be a plus or minus, depending if you are a dog lover.... PROS. Perfect location. If you want to do a private tour the boat will pick you up ALMOST at your front door step. Staff was friendly Hazel did a great job suggesting things to do. I.E renting a Kayak and snorkeling. Rooms were always super clean. The view was outstanding !..Restaurant was good, also just a short walk to some other good bars and restaurants.
The place is beautiful, cozy and secluded.far away from the crowed "el nido" but close to arrive by scooter or trycicle.there are few bungalows very nice and clean but with no air condition.for me it was not a probem but my husband suffered to sleep with only 2 fans and he really need it sometimes.during the day ,the beach and the restaurant is visited by people that doesn't stay in las cabanas but it is never so crowed that can disturb you.at night is beautiful and very quiet ,no romours outside, only nice sounds of birds, gekos, bugs and sometimes dogs and cats. Everything is organize very well, tours, transfer van to airport, rent a scooter, etc and it is thanks to hazel, the manager from las cabanas! She is the person that makes this resort very special .always helping the guest with everything in a very friendly and kind manner. THANK YOU HAZEL FOR EVERYTHING!!! the price of this resort is high, but you pay for the location! And the sunset is amazing. Food is good and fresh.
best in the area! ”
I can't say enough about Hazel and her staff. They are amazing. The resort location is amazing. People come from all the surrounding resorts every evening to watch the sunset. The food and drinks are great as well. This is definitely the top resort in this area. Make sure you book transport and help from the road with your bags. It's about a 10 to 15min walk down some 200 stairs and the beach. If you don't get the hotel porters to help, you will hate it. Especially on the way up. No warm water from the faucets and no AC. If you need hot water, they will provide a large thermos. The pictures on agoda don't do it justice. Enjoy!
Heaven on earth”
I recommend anyone spending at least 3 days in El Nido to stay at Las Cabanas. You need to take a tricycle to go to El Nido city center (150PHP - 12 min) and take boats for Island hopping. Btw, it's worth staying away from the not interesting and busy town. Everything at las cabanas is perfect. And yes, maybe they don't have wifi (nobody dies anyway) and you have to ask for hot water if you need a hot shower (cold showers are better for you anyway) but the food, the staff, the location and the view are just perfect. Hazel, Vivian, Vicky, Judy were so nice. Strangely, only the owner who we stumbled upon only 2 or 3 times was the least nice. I really really recommend this place!
Location, location, location”
Las Cabanas is located at the end of the beach in El Nido. All tourists flock to the beach in front of Las Cabanas for viewing the breathtaking sunsets. Staff are super friendly. Prices are inexpensive at the bar and restaurant. Only cons are no hot water and very limited internet access. Definitely recommend visitors bring their own hotspot. We purchased a pocket wifi from Globe and it worked fantastic. We traveled all over El Nido and found Las Cabanas to be the best location and most courteous staff. I would definitely recommend this resort.
Great location and food”
Overall impression is very good. The food was great. We wanted seafood pizza - which wasn't in the menu - and they happily cooked it for us. There was almost no people around and no motorboats. The only negative point is the shower at bungalow. No hot water at all and the cold water was really cold.
excellent beach resort”
This is a very beautiful place, white and clear beach, not many tourists there, then you can enjoy walking along the seashore, feeling your feet stepping one the soft sand, coconut leaves dancing in the wind and hermit crabs crawling all around you. Besides, the resort is simple deco and cozy, they also provide delicious meals then you can enjoy them in the cabin just on the beach.
Great hotel, lovely staff, boutique feel”
great views and pool . boutique feel resort . great rooms and bathrooms. clean , new and spacious with high ceiling and beautiful architecture features. beautiful gardens. all rooms have garden views and ocean views. staff is very friendly and helpful . pick up and drop of service from town. we would deffinately go back.
great location ”
las cabanas was a great stay.with only 5 rooms on a large area of land you are pretty much left to yourself. the gardens and access to the best beach in el nido make this a good choice this is not everyones choice but if you are after a bit of a robinson crusoe type adventure this might be a good choice there is no hot water but you get used to that quick enough overall this was a very enjoyable stay
great location, unusually good service, relaxing”
could not have asked for better and more relaxing time on el nido than las cabanas. a little further from center of town, but definitely worth it! the food was great, home-style prepared daily, staff was observant to needs, location was fantastic, not too far away from town center. highly recommended for solo or couples, just make sure you request beach front rooms and the all-inclusive meals, definitely worth a little extra. then just sit back, enjoy and relax...
This was a last minute booking for us for a trip in latter park of March, price was a bit high considering the amenities. Recommend the hotel for its location. Hotel is on a beautiful beach, but not so easy access from the street. You have to walk with your bags on the beach (no hard surface to drag your bags) to reach the hotel., look for porters at the start of beach. Hotel is on generator from 6pm to 6 am, not all rooms have air conditioner, a/c works from 6am to 6 pm only, but there are electric fans in the room. read the room descriptions carefully when you book. No hot water, minimum lighting. There is a lock box in the room to keep your valuables, ask for a lock from the front desk. Staff are friendly, lots of friendly neighborhood dogs hanging around. Restaurant is good, great to sit there and enjoy the sunset. Hotel is cash only .
Hi Jani. Thank you for your comments. Indeed we are located about 10 minutes walking distance down the beach from the local McDonald's restaurant. For this reason, prior to guest arrival, we provide the contact details of our resort manager Hazel who, upon request, can arrange to have our staff meet our guests at McDonalds for assistance with their bags. Hot water is available on demand. We are off the El Nido power grid which limits us in terms of running hot water and a/c. Our generator runs 24 hours. We have only two rooms with a/c running from 6pm to 6am daily.
There is a view blocking construction fence. The beach-/seaview is highly restricted. We have not been informed about this ahead of our booking. Breakfast is very simple. In total it‘s not worth the price per night although the location (las cabanas beach) is very good. After two nights we left the resort, because the offered discount for those circumstances were just too less.
Hello Dominika, thank you for your comments. The illegally erected view blocking fence is no longer in place, completely removed. We now have unrestricted views of the beach and ocean again. We will look into providing more choices for breakfast.
