Little heaven in full privacy with amazing staff”
Our family of 5 loved our stay at Las Cabanas, which is an amazing small family run resort. Little far from El Nido which may be its biggest pro/con at the same time. Approachable by 10-15 mins walk on the beach only, but the staff will help carrying your stuff and tons of tricycles available once reaching the main road. As Las Cabanas is at a secluded place it will never get noisy although during daytime people will pass through to visit this beautiful piece of beach and the island opposite the resort which is approachable on foot. Pros: + very helpful and (kid) friendly staff + directly on the beach, though some bungalows are at the back at the gardens + food/drinks/fruits available all day + kids can run around safely Cons - some bungalows have no windows, if you are not nature lover but light sleeper this may disturb you - no hot water - due to its location (pro) no other eating options nearby Advice: bring mosquito repellent to fight sand flies (best with DEET)

A very rugged experience , worth doing but probsbl”
Based on alot of recommendations and reviews, we were determined to get this off our bucket list of places to go - El Nido/Palawan. It was tough to get to both El Nido and then to Las Cabanas as well... once we got there, service was very warm and hospitable. Ms Hazel was even more sweet and helpful than her already great reviews told. The island tour was really nice, in particular the last private beach called Papaya Beach which was pristine and postcard worthy! Overall, El Nido is a 3, Las Cabanas facility a 3.5 and the staff and hospitality of Las Cabanas a 5 star!

Nice hotel, lacks service and amenities”
Overpriced for the services that they provide - including the beach front view. Here's why: NO A/C - if you're from a country like the U.S. Or somewhere relatively cold, be prepared to take the heat and humidity at full force. The hotel does NOT have A/C. Only fans. NO WIFI - yup. NO HOT WATER OPTION - The water is cold. Really cold. FOOD TASTE AND QUALITY LACKING - for the price they are asking, it's extremely lacking in taste and quality. Filipino dishes are really cheap, like $100 for breakfast. This place charges triple the price but the tastes doesn't follow the hike. It's actually the inverse and it is severely lacking. NO BUSINESS PHONE NUMBER & SLOW TO REPLY EMAIL - we needed to contact someone to help us with out heavy luggages and they only had email, which we had trouble with because of the extremely choppy internet they have in the philippines. We had a family member email them but never replied. FAR FROM MAIN ROAD AND NO BELL BOY TO CARRY LUGGAGES FOR A 15

Very relaxing place and has it's own beach”
Need to take tricycle to downtown but absolutely worth it! Private beach is right in front of your resort, quiet in the morning and night. We enjoy beautiful sunset every evening. It's just breathtaking and relaxing.

3 Nights in Las Cabanas”
Overall was nice location. Bit of a far walk on the beach with suitcases. When we arrived there was a leak in the BeachFront Cottage hence the sink was not working. The room was basic with only a fan. I would recommend purchasing some insect spray. The views at night and sunset can be seen from the front porch. Massage done was very good and would recommend the evening massage during sunset. Lots of dogs and puppies. Internet and Wifi Not so good. Hazel was very nice and really helpful

Basic amenities but beautiful ambiance!”
PROS: - Right on the beach! Beautiful private beach with calm and shallow water. - Friendly staff. - Clean and well-kept areas and facilities. - Very good breakfast and food (except for the shrimp curry that had a few undercooked shrimp). - Serene and relaxing atmosphere. CONS: - Commute and poor communication. We took a tricycle for 30 minutes to the place but the road ended so we had to go down some stairs and walk on the beach for 15 minutes. We couldn't call for help b/c there was no phone number on their website and email inquiries were not replied back. This was no fun when carrying a rolling luggage with a baby and toddler on a hot beach! My husband finally went first and got 2 girls to come back half-way and help. When we checked out, they did send 2 guys with us to help carry luggage which was a lot smoother. - Very basic amenities! We had a 2 bedroom and that was practically it. It's solar too. We had NO AC (although fans were decent), NO FRIDGE, NO WIFI (could not get on anywhere, even in the common areas). - Isolated location. This could be a good or bad thing. If you want seclusion, you got it! However, since we were traveling with kids, it would have been more convenient to be able to go into town for snacks and supplies. OVERALL: We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed it immensely nonetheless. Everybody was very nice and it's a great place for relaxing! There were mainly adults and couples there, and we were the only family, but we'd definitely go again!

Expensive Beach Hut”
Not really what we were looking for. No Aircon, no Tv, no Amenities. Its a hut on the beach with an electric fan, a shower and a light - when it works. Yes it has a beautiful view, but most of the places do, yes it is on the beach, but most of the places are. Breakfast was crappy, poor selection and very slow. Juices were just concentrate or powered. Staff seemed untrained and uninterested. Location is very far from everything! Better to spend your money camping overnight on 1 of the islands, the comfort and service would be the same.
