Perfect if you've never been to Seville for the experience and value.
This is a tough review because we really wondered based on the reviews whether we should pick this hotel. We did in the end and spent 4 lovely days in Seville and continued to have mixed feelings about out stay. After some discussion, we are pleased we picked this hotel and we would recommend it for your first visit to Seville. The combination of this amazing labyrinth hotel with corner after corner of amazing gardens and styling made it a huge pleasure and the value is very decent considering it does lack some of the comforts that we might have wanted. The room was not cozy and the decor is tired. The breakfast we had once and it wasn't anything special. The spa whilst being amazing was serviced really badly - don't go - however the piano bar is amazing with such a lovely bartender that it was overall a positive experience. If we were to visit Seville again, we will not stay here thou, we've had the experience and now we will go back to creature comforts.

Beautiful hotel
A great place for a Christmas getaway, friendly and helpful staff, and beautiful plant-filled courtyards. Room very clean and tidy, it was quiet and we slept well. Would like to visit again in the springtime.

Hansel and Gretl would find this place a challenge
We booked on the reco of a friend and had rooms in the far reaches of the Casas properties. Avoid the 400 rooms at all costs. The labyrinth from the front desk is long and arduous. And then the elevator failed not once but twice so that I was trapped until the staff reset it. As if that wasn’t enough the Bar man was hostile and not helpful. There aren’t enough breadcrumbs to make this a good option.

Superb Location
This hotel is from the 15th century. Don't be deceived by the outside. The rooms are huge, we upgraded. Staff is nice, pool is fantastic (I think it was a salt water pool)...a little chilly, but felt awesome. This hotel is in the old Jewish quarter, very central, cafe's all around. Highly recommend!

Acceptable
Booked room was not available, the one we got was not cleaned and staff did not even bother to help. Very disappointing experience and one of the worst hotels we ever stayed at.

4* building with 2* facilities
First, the good points: this hotel consists of several old houses now interconnected which makes for a really interesting structure. Structure alone doesn't compensate for not considering guests' needs; here are some specifics... 1) as it's a complex of buildings it's very easy to get lost...some signs would cure that but no-one has thought of that. When we explained how frustrating this is, the receptionists laughed and said 'yes, everyone always gets lost'. But it's not funny, it's annoying. 2) the pool opens at noon which is probably very convenient for the hotel but ignores the wishes of visitors. 3) there are some lovely patio areas but it's impossible to get a drink there after midnight...in Seville you go for dinner at 10pm so this isn't late. 4) during the day service was haphazard...definitely suited to the hotel's needs, not to visitors. 5) the sound of rushing water from another room's shower drowned out the TV & woke us each morning (we were in '34). All in all, it's a great building but they need to fit themselves what visitors want, not the other way around.

An amazing Gem
The style of the hotel, the location and the staff
Its a combination of 22 (I think) old houses blended into a superb concoction of old fashioned beauty. The location is smack in the middle of where you want to be and the staff are sweet. Great spa and roof terrace and pool too!

Adding Charm to Seville
Location, accommodations - size, look and amenities, Food
It was a great experience. The hotel is quaint, adding more charm to the already pretty and charming Seville. The room was big and the amenities are great :-) The only setback was not having wi-fi in the room but compensated by the fact that wi-fi is available in common areas :-)
