AFFORDABLE & NEWLY RENOVATED”

Las Palmas has been my favorite hotel so far whenever I’m in Manila. It was introduced by my mother-in-law and husband as they used to stay here almost every year or every 2years. Last 2015 i didn’t find the hotel really nice as it looked too old but last week I was amazed of how it looked because it was renovated. I always enjoy my stay there as the staff are really nice and accommodating. Thank you Las Palmas for making our stay stress-free. 😊

Las Palmas was recommended by a friend who stays there whenever he is in Manila. The location is very convenient- walking ditance to the Robinson's mall, many nearby good restaurants, not scary to walk even arounf even at night- all in all, a great place to stay for a Manila vacation... The staff is a group of friendly people-always ready to answer your questions....I'll stay there again on my next trip...

Las Palmas Hotel”

Clean rooms, all appliances were working well. very accessible to entertainment areas and malls. near the airport. efficient staff. Hotel was secure as there were surveillance cameras to ensure customer safety.
saw some baby cockroaches in the room. Lacked some kitchen utensils. Needs a mat for the bathtub.

Our stay at Las Palmas Hotel was very pleasant. Their staff was very efficient in accommodating my room request. The room was clean although i did see two baby cockroaches. Room appliances were working very well. Housekeeping staff was also very efficient. The hotel is situated near to Robinson's Mall so it was very convenient. A lot of restaurants and entertainment areas were near the hotel. Hotel is also near the airport so the taxi fare was not expensive at all. Jeepney transportation is accessible. Hotel is near to several convenience stores. Hotel security was very safe, as there were surveillance cameras to monitor hallways.

Vibrant Location”

Hotel Staff are hospitable. Location of Hotel was superb with nearby walking distance to clubs, malls, eatery..just about anything. Also found the area safe. Most importantly the cost to stay was very affordable.
Generally, I have no complains for the price that I have paid.

The staff from front desk, doorman, bell boys to housekeeping were very accomodating. I found the staff very willing to answer any queries I had, especially for the fact that it is my first visit to Manila...and it will definitely not be my last. I would recommend Las Palmas to all my Singaporean friends.

location & price
old furnishings & bed covers

had an overnight stay at las palmas and our stay is a worthwhile experience. service was prompt and friendly. size of the room is just okay for a family of three though they could have used newer bed sheets & bed quilts. the standard breakfast is good offering about 4 types of breakfast. and the in-house technician service on our tv cable channels was prompt & ok. and the good point is the location which is near to robinsons mall for some quick meals & shopping, overall, i would definitely book again if i were to book a 3-star hotel in the malate area. and i would suggest it to my friends also.

There is not much to fault this Hotel as for the money I paid it is well worth the experience. The room was slightly small but very modern feel and well maintained. The staff are all friendly and well behaved, I would stay at this hotel anytime I am in Malate, Manila. Well done and congratulations

OK but not keeping up with the competition”

decent enough location,nice staff,good security,quiet rooms

If you know Ermita/Malate,you'll know the good (bars, clubs) and bad (hustlers, hawkers and pimps on the street) of the area. It is all made worse when it rains and walkng the dirty and crowded footpaths is next to impossible, forcing you into the street to dodge motorbikes and cars. So it wasnt just the Las Palmas hotel that made this a pretty miserable few days,in fact the hotel was basically ok in an old fashioned way,one old lift to service 7 floors and an over expensive resturaunt for breakfast each day (much cheaper to go to a dozen other places around the block).Nice staff and a security box is certainly a good idea. They do Manila city tours from an office in the lobby but I didnt take part,as I spent the time on the town or sleeping off jetlag. I found the Wifi option ridiculously expensive and doubt if anyone takes it up-2 other hotels on the same street offer free Wifi in each room so this is not good for Las Palmas.

I was not expecting much from this hotel but the moment I stepped in, I was impressed. Staffs are so nice and accommodating with a smile. The lobby area is grand. The deluxe double room is big and clean, nice and big sink area and there is a bath tub. The room service always replenishes the bottled water, soap and toilet tissue every time they clean our room. Security guard is helpful and attentive. The only thing I want to suggest is that they provide at least an a la carte breakfast for free. I highly recommend this hotel if you want to be treated courteously and professionally.

some rooms without window

I stayed in Las Palmas a few times in the last month. initially in a room without an outside window. during my last visit i got a room with an outside window. in some rooms there are only a few electricity plugs which makes it difficult to work on a laptop, moreover the room is not really suited for working on a computer for a long time (table/chairs). Besides work it is quite ok, near the airport and shopping centres and bar areas.

Central location, nice breakfasts.

the first thing you notice when you enter las palmas is the old musty smell which permiates all areas of the hotel. the decor is 60's which i didn't mind, lots of wrought iron and marble. the tv's have around 100 channels but are well past their use by date with poor picture definition. the omlette at breakfast is tasty and the staff are friendly. not a bad location and close to robinsons.
