Best by far”
This was a last minute overnight stay and I wish we could have stayed longer. It’s right in the middle of town and close to everything. The staff were amazing and the food gorgeous. You won’t be disappointed. Definitely be back next family holiday.

Hotel location is perfect, easy to go to the supermaket, train station and other scenic spots by walking with a few minutes. Restaurants can be easy found arround hotel. Hotel Joanna was very helpful with very good service. She helped me to mail a set of room key to Queen's Town which I forgot to left for the house we stayed in Queen's Town. Thank very very much! Joanna! Absulutely worth to recomment!

Happy to recommend this hotel but suggest guests request a room away from external aircon duct - very noisy when window open. Room stuffy when window closed (no aircon in our room.

Great budget hotel”
Everything was great except the beds. Staff were helpful and friendly, the downstairs bar was good, food was nice, location excellent, and good value for money. Beds were incredibly uncomfortable for both of us however, and we didn’t get much sleep on any of the nights because of it.

An Art Deco Gem”
Highly recommended for a no fuss stay. I slept well and felt safe and secure. Interesting building which contains some interesting historical items from the 1953 Royal Visit - the Queen stayed here. It also has C20th ceramics not very well displayed, but interesting to me as an avid collector of teapots (not the novelty ones) . A collector of liquor themed ceramics would also enjoy a walk through the bar. Food was homely and good - quite moderately priced; $19 for Eggs Benedict that would be at least $25 in Auckland. An Art Deco gem that’s showing its age, but then so am I.

Very friendly staff. Perfect location one block from the railroad station. Very convenient to the downtown shopping area. They were kind enough to serve lunch and dinner to all guests As the coronavirus was shutting everything down.

Good location, prime location as it is close to everything supermarket railway station and it got a bar and restaurant if ever you feel hungry. Although the wall are quite thin and the bathroom and toilet facility is quite dated. But if ever I stay Dunedin I would still book this place and plus they provide you with a free parking..

Just the R18 noises early hours of the mornings was annoying, echoed throughout the floor snd the walls/ceilings but apart from that cosy beds & great place with everything availabe to you.
