Enough for rest and sleep, but don't expect”
The room we got was a Family room for 6 pax. 2 bunk beds and another double bed. the room was pretty standard, with comfy beds, linen and warm blankets. the room was in fact a little spacious. the downside is, the CR was too small and a bit run down. If you're looking for a place to stay for a night or two, with a budget in mind, this place might be a good deal for you.

You get what you paid for.”
We stayed here on Feb. 16 to 17 (Chinese New Year) and Mar. 29 to 31 (Holy Week). We were assigned in rooms no. 4 (Chinese New Year) and no.7 (Holy Week). Pros: 1) Location is just a short walk to the transport terminal located inside Tagaytay Market (jeepneys bound to Peole's Park, Picnic Grove, Olivarez, and Balibago). 2) Free Filipino set breakfast. They also serve unlimited the best kapeng barako for free. 3) Big rooms. 4) AC unit, cable tv, water heater, and water pressure work well. 5) Thumbs up to the hospitality and warmness of the owner and staff. 6) Affordable rate if you get lucky to grab Agoda promotions. Cons: 1) Door knob in rooms no.4 & 7 was hard to lock and unlock. 2) Sink is outside the bathroom. 3) No bidet. 4) There was a problem with the circuit breaker in room no.4 resulting to frequent power interruption in our room. We took shower in the dark with water heater not functioning. We checked out the inn with our phones uncharged. 5) The bed sheet, pillow cases, and blanket in room no.7 seemed washed but smells bad. Maybe the room we were asssigned to was not occupied for a long period of time. 6) No telephone. 7) Nobody was present at the reception area most of the time particularly in the morning so some issues were not attended to.

Exceptional”
The place was cozy and the staff welcomed us warmly. What we love on our stay was the room. The air-condition was great; Tagaytay weather was almost freezing cold, but once we're in our room, the temperature was just alright and tolerable. The breakfast and coffee was good - unlimited coffee, and the tapa and tuyo was delicious. We think that this could be a greater stay if the TV had more channels and not always looking for a signal. Probably on the Cable provider. For the location, it was a bit far from the main tourist spots, but it is very near to the Jeep terminal if you are commuting. Just one ride away to Olivarez. If you have a car, the location would not be a problem.

Bitter Sweet”
The Good: Staff were attentive. You get a lot of peace and quiet in the evening. My mom loved the garden. Didn’t feel hotel-ish. Not too expensive. Staff gave me free coffee on top of what they served during breakfast. Kudos to Junjun and Noe for being attentive to guests’ needs. The Bad: Arrived in the evening, no receptionist except a caretaker who was giving us one room good for 4 instead of 2 rooms that we paid for. Sorted our only when I asked to call person in charge (using my phone). Broken bathroom fixtures in my first room. Had to take a shower in the cold in the evening as staff was asleep. Moved to a new room in the morning. Doors difficult to maneuver. Blackout curtains not effective as there’s another window with a lacey, thin curtain. The property looks lovely. I just hope they fix what needs to be fixed. Still waiting to hear about my refund as the room I moved to is cheaper than the one I transferred from.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Breakfast is okay and loved he coffee. Could have rated high on facilities but the room we stayed at (booked 2 rooms), the couple room had a defective heater and faucet. We were transferred to another room. The heater is working but the aircon is not fully functional because the room was not that cold even if temp is adjusted.

Overnight Stay With a Group of Friends”
Stayed here a couple of months ago with friends and overall we were pleased. We stayed in the group room that bunk beds. The room was clean and tidy. A/C was cold and there was a TV to keep us entertained. They also have a nice outside area with tables so you can chill, enjoy the cold air and have some drinks. You can't complain given how affordable it is. I definitely recommend this place to any group travelers. Only downside is parking can be a little tight when there are a lot of guests.

Great Stay!”
Upon arriving at Lazea Inn my husband was glad that they do enough parking space, thinking it was a safe place unlike other hotel Pros: _Our room was spacious enough, smells clean, our breakfast is OK we had tapa (though the serving was quite little) Cons: Our door (at room no.7) quite hard to manage you cannot easily lock it. The surrounding of the area was quite noisy at 5 am, I could hear motorcycles, loading truck, i would suggested that you should put a noise barrier on your wall especially at the hotel side to reduce the noise coming from the outside of the hotel. also, the water heater is not working well. There is always a room for improvement. I would say, It was still great weekend for us.

Will not return”
One of the worst places we've stayed in. Extremely noisy, especially in the morning. The roosters start crowing at 4am, and it's right next to a Jeepney station - they start blasting their Jeepney radio at 6am (but it doesn't matter because the roosters have already woken you up at 4am). The reflexology stones in the bathroom were extremely annoying and painful. Won't recommend staying here.

I always like going back to Lazea because the staff is always very nice and friendly. Con: there was a brownout in the area for about 3 hours, there does not seem to be any contingency for guests except to be advised to wait it out.

Spacious rooms but not walking distance from the resto strip.”
Accommodating staff. We left our bags after checking out so that we could go around a bit more before heading back to Manila. Free breakfast and coffee is good. Could be a little cheaper versus Airbnb accommodations that are closer to the restos. Nice spacious rooms with a wash basin/sink in the bedroom, not inside the toilet. I like it. Functional aircon that was actually capable of cooling the room.

It can't be that bad...right?”
The staff was absent most of the time, socializing in the kitchen. Rarely was anyone readily available to answer questions or service requests. Maybe they are poor quality or maybe poorly trained. Food was less than ok but edible. The location was odd however I found an honest tricycle driver (I was fortunate) and took care of almost all my transportation needs. There are food vendors nearby. My reaction to the interior was...WTF?!? The shower (hot water) was next to the toilet. The mirror was above the toilet. The floor was made of cobblestones!?!?! The floor never dried...ever. The sink was outside the bathroom. There was no mirror over the sink. The were rocks on the ground under the sink like you would see at an outdoor park. WTF? I moved the rocks so I would not step in them and spread them all over the room. Very little counter space around the sink. Cable tv worked. The bed was acceptable. I would not stay here again nor would I recommend it to anyone.

Booked the barkada room for only 5k for 8 pax. Very nice place, clean, with ample parking spaces. Eventhough its a small place, it does not feel crowded. Very pleasant staff, friendly, unlimited coffee a big bonus. Beautiful garden area, my favorite place in tagaytay.
