Beautiful Hidden and off the beaten track ”

The family who own it live there and everyone is very friendly and helpful, it's very quiet , dosnt have coffee or tea facilities in huts but can be bought from the bar . The beach was very rocky just outside the huts but if you go down towards the big rocks at the end you can find a sandy part that's nice to swim in. We couldn't hire a bike due to some concern over national driver's licence so we were pretty much stuck ! The road in and out is pretty rough and very far ! To nearest town . Food was ok , it was a lovely two day solitude/ Romantic stay . Would I recommend anyone stay ? I think that depends on what your looking for ? If its life / noise and lots to do then No , if it's a quiet time out heavenly scene then yes I do . Enjoy your stay 😁

Remote, but good”

Lazi beach club is a bit far from the areas generally frequented by tourists, but to some that's the attraction. We rented a motorbike from them and drove around anyway. Rooms are spacious and a bit old fashioned, but everything works. Swimming pool is in pristine condition and the restaurant serves good food and beer at great prices. Some cocktails were out of stock. There is a nice reef for snorkeling in front of the resort. We had a nice chat with Niel and Maxi, and they are nice down-to-earth people that together with their staff would go the extra mile to make your stay a great one. The only con is the condition of the road that leads to the resort. It's a bumpy ride and transport to/from the pier will reflect that in the cost. We got some incorrect info from the front desk - our next destination was Bohol, and we were told that our only option was a night-time ferry, or alternatively to go back to Dumaguette. Turns out there is a daily ferry from Larena that leaves at 12h30.

Above average”

The location isn’t bad but how to get there is. The road is very bad and the trip is long, but it’s worth it! Just remember to buy everything you might need before going there or you might be in trouble. The couple who own the place are adorable and so is most of the staff. There is a few (one) waiter who seems to hate her job or people who are in vacation. But for summit up, one of the beat places I have been in Philippines and would happily go back!

The biggest problem we had was with the restaurant. The 4 meals we had there was a minimum of an hour and a half from ordering to being served. Several items were not available. (There were not many dining options nearby) The internet that was provided at best was slow. The swimming pool was enjoyed, And the beauty of the area was good.

The staff bullied us ”

Lazi beach club was located in a beautiful place with great nature surrounding the area. The problem was the staff’s attitude as well as the location considering it was SO far from society... There was no service or working Wi-Fi. The staff made up their minds about us having the corona virus... when we are 110% sure we do NOT have this desease, just a runny nose. They talked behind our backs and spread rumours throughout the staff. This was very unpleasant for us, it went as far as them not wanting to clean our room, but we actually had to ask them to at least put some toilet paper in our room. I hope you will get a better stay if you decide to go there.

Just skip that one”

Siquijor is a beautiful island with great beaches and nice food options. Lazi Beach keeps you away from both. Do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else. Situated at the end of a 20min mud path overlooking a rocky waterfront (unfit for swimming) Lazi beach has nothing appealing to offer. Yes, it is somewhat tranquil due to its remoteness but it’s tranquility was undermined by the noise of the workers and soap opera audio books of the bar staff which was not very helpful. There were hardly any other guests. The only other guests we encountered were trying to leave early - a fruitless endeavor given the hotel’s no refund policy is openly displayed in a frame in each hotel room. Try to find something at San Juan.

A good place to enjoy nature and to relax”

The Lazi Beach Club is a very well maintained Resort on a idyllic bay far from civilization, elektro magnetic frequencies and elektro magnetic radiation, because all the cell towers are faraway. This means, that during your stay your cell has no signal. The only way to communicate is via internet (Messenger, Skype etc.). The rooms are big and well comfortably furnished all direct on the sea with a nice balcony just few meters from the waterline. The food (mostly Pinoy dishes) are very good and very affordable and the service is friendly and accommodating to your wishes. We enjoyed or 4 days stay very much and can recommend this place to everybody which like to be in quiet place immersed in nature. The only negative point is the prices of public transportation (Trycycles, and Multicabs which are completely out of reasonable price range. I paid for 2 Adults and 2 Children, Php 1'600.00 from the Port to the Resort and back to the Port, which was not comfortable and also other people was riding in the vehicle. It started to rain and we where all wed and it was very cold. I think, that LTFRB, was never there and has checked on the fares! The same from the Resort to Lazi Town and back to the Resort Php 400.00 with a Trycycle for approx. 5km. Imagine the Bus fare from Cebu to Santander approx. 150km, is only Php 200.00 and from the Port in Siquijor to the Resort is only 20km!

Very quiet and romantic place!

at first, i thought i was doomed!! what do you mean no television or wifi in the room?? but, my stay at lazi beach club totally changed the way i think about traveling! i am usually a person that loves to be connected...i need a 24 hour internet connection and all the electronical devices possible to entertain myself...but this has changed...rather than straining my eyes on my radiation emitting computer screen...i found myself truly enjoying playing boardgames and the company of my girl as we shared the true magnificence of nature! the rooms...or should i say private cabins/cottages/houses...are very spacious and beautifully designed!! the swimming pool is open 24 hours which makes for a wonderful night time activity before heading to bed!! the staff is very kind and friendly and although the menu is a little bit pricy and the selection a little limited...the portions were rather generous and the food delicious enough to forget about the price!

Cute Getaway”

canopy bed, lazy chairs, sunshine

Lazi Beach is certainly off the beaten path! Takes about 1 hour to get there with a tricycle from the main port (and will cost you 500Php). When you arrive though the view is definitely worth it. Not much sand, but a great wide beach that makes for nice private walks. The rooms are great too, very nicely design bathrooms, great comfy canopy bed, couch and chairs in room, and the perfect lazy lawn chairs on the front porch. Lazi Beach Club has a restaurant but their menu is entirely too big and you know that half of the offering are not avaliable considering it's a small resort and there is no way they could keep that much fresh meat and veggies on hand. My recommendation would be to concentrate the menu especially on Filipino favorites that the cook can prepare to perfection. Reasonably priced though.

Right by the water

never been to siquijor so i didn't know lazi was far away from the main part of town so the ride took 30, 40 minutes. we arrived at the resort realizing we're the only people that are staying and i found out it was off-season. the resort is conveniently located by the beach and it was windy and rainy throughout most of our stay so we were mostly confined to our room and the resort. for a fee, the driver will drive you around town to check out the sites. we were able to visit the town area and certain tourist spots. the room was big with fridge, shower and right by the water so it was really windy which was great since there was no fan. they have their own kitchen so we had our meals there. if it wasn't raining so much, we would've taken advantage of the pool. the owners and staff were really nice and attentive. great people who were willing to drive us to the port so we can reach our boat on time because our ride fell through. if you want reclusive and peace and quiet, then give lazi beach club a shot when the weather is in season.

Very relaxing”

Quiet location with comfortable rooms and the sound of the ocean

Lazi Beach Club is about a 40min journey from the port and quite a long way from the main road. The well equipped cottages sit close to the beach facing the sea and are very comfortable with a fan which is very efficient. The beach is pretty rocky and not ideal for swimming off but their is a very nice pool to cool down in. The restaurant closes at 7pm which is quite early but it does ensure early nights and plenty of sleep! The staff are good and the Canadian owner, Neil, is good company and very helpful. You can hire motorcycles from the resort for a very reasonable 350 peso per day. You can go round the island in a day on the empty roads which are well maintained. We thoughly enjoyed our 5 nights there and came away totally rested and relaxed. Resort offers excellent value for money and we would love to return one day.

i was very impressed with the lazi beach club. being a new resort on the island of siquijor it is away from the hustle and bustle of the big crowded common resorts. although it is still being expanded and improved our stay here was well worth it. the staff made you feel at home by posting a sign with your name to welcoming you to the lazi beach club. they brought the menu to our villa prior to meals so we could choose our fare, then a staff member would come to our villa when our meal was ready. their menu selections needs some improvement but all of the food served was very good.

Great, peaceful resort with awesome view & friendly staff.”

This resort is remote - no restaurants, shops, etc. in area. Far from other resort. If you want somewhere peaceful, this is the place. Rocky beach but at end (marine sanctuary, complete with very grumpy guard who says you cannot swim) is beautiful sand beach. I recommend this resort to escape from it all. Hire motorbike from Siquijor or Larena, sign on main road, will be easy to find in daylight. Very friendly locals all over this beautiful natural island.

Great Vacation resort at Lazi, Siquijor.”

Peaceful, enjoyed the beach, the beautiful surroundings and the unit and amenities the resort offered.

We enjoyed our stay at the resort with our daughter. We swam at the beach and the resort swimming pool. For 3 days and 2 nights vacation was worth it. Their staff and the management were very courteous and the customer service was the best. The resort offered car pickup from Siquijor Island Ferry Dock both ways for small fees, and this made it easy to travel to the resort. One thing, why we would like to go back again at the resort was everything that we experienced at the resort and the everyone that made us welcomed.
